Still a must visit when we come to Saugatuck! I've scored big time (a pair of Staffordshire dogs I've deduced are the real deal and a beautiful brass peacock style fireplace grate) I've scored small (a variety of vintage decor and knick knacks) and some trips I've walked out empty handed. But I've never walked out disappointed. Even the times I don't pick something up are still a delightful adventure. There's so much to see. From crates and crates of records, dishware (including a whole stall devoted to fiesta ware), decor, furniture, old toys and collectibles, comics and other pop culture items, even a bit of industrial wares. Oh and lots of clothing! Staff here is super nice and will help you put any of your finds in a cubby at check out so you can walk around hands free. And FYI if you come with kids ask them for their scavenger hunt sheets and you can keep them busy while you're crusin' the stalls! read more

This place is friggin' HUGE! If you can't find what you want or find a cool gift for someone you're just not looking. It's clean, organized and extremely well run. A massive place with so many vendors to choose from. I can spend hours in this Pavillion. It is truly the home of unique and affordable items. The staff is excellent from the from doors greeters to those behind the front customer service desk and on the floor. I have to give a big shout out to the two young ladies whose names I failed to get. We had stopped by on an early afternoon Monday. They seemed to be high school girls maybe working a summer job? These two girls were the friendliest and knew their business. I noticed that they were on point with several customers whenever a customer had a question or request, and they had answers for their questions. They seemed to be everywhere at once, constantly resetting items and assisting customers. What a great staff that should be commended. Stop by this place. I left with a few items and seriously have my eye on a few others I'll return for. One of my favorite stops on the Lake Michigan Circle Tour. Worth the drive up from Chicago. read more

Saugatuck Antique's is my new favorite antique shop. It's filled with an endless supply of goods, like vintage prints, signs, tools, and other handy trinkets. Me and my girlfriend were probably here for about 2hrs making sure we checked out every booth at least once before leaving. Once I have my own man cave, I'm definitely coming here to look for vintage items to make the room stand out. Shout out to their staff for being so friendly when you first walk in to the store. read more

Passed this on our way back to Chicago and had to bust a quick u-turn just to "take a peek for 10 minutes". 30 mins later I'm like I could live here. It's super cool in here, the staff is very nice (much like everyone in Saug). This is the largest antique store I've ever seen in my life personally. If you are in the area, this is a place you should definitely stop off at. Note: there is a brewery literally next door so if you want to start with food and libations, go there first. Or after a massive workout looking through all the goodies, treat yourself to a cold one. My friend and I were driving by and on a whim, decided to stop in. This place is MASSIVE. But very organized. Each stall, from my understanding, was curated by a different collector, and so it's more of a collective. They have all sorts of goodies from yesteryear: dinnerware, coins, clothing, tools, jewelry, vinyls, furniture, books, paintings, toys. My friend loves kewpies and we found a teacup to add to her collection and a small porcelain figure. I came across vintage Oz books but decided to pass this time. There's room for negotiation on things above $40, from what I was told, but most things are very reasonably priced. If you need to look at something in a case, ask one of the very nice employees (you can hear their keys jingle jangling like Santa Claus is coming) read more

I'm from out of state and was recommended Saugatuck Antiques, so I came in and everything was well organized and very clean. I was surprised because the building is huge with so many treasures to pick from! The inventory is definitely well taken care of. Then I found an AMAZING painting! I am so excited to bring it home. All of the staff was so friendly and welcoming to my daughter and I, even helped me package and load it into my car. I will definitely be coming back next time I come back to Michigan! read more

If you're looking for Pyrex though, chances are you will find it here.....this shop probably has the most Pyrex I've ever seen in one place. The place is huge. When I want to go antiquing for quality, quirky items, especially housewares and jewelry, this is my happy place! Booths are organized and the stock of things like art glass, vintage Pyrex, and filigree jewelry is not to be missed! If you're looking for a statement lamp or piece of furniture that gets compliments from house guests, stop by here. Some dealers also have antiquarian books, including first editions (best section is in the back corner in my opinion). Generally don't expect the cheapest prices - they're selling mostly nice items in good condition- but they do periodically run sales and some dealers may agree to a lower price if you ask at the counter(especially if you're buying multiple items). Full disclosure: I found this place because my in-laws sell out of a couple booths here, but I would go regardless. Extra bonus? Saugatuck Brewing is right next door with a fabulous beer list and delicious menu items, so when you've worked up an appetite hunting for treasures, you're covered! read more

We love antiquing, so the booth after booth after booth of fascinating wares was just our cup of tea. Furniture, jewelry, clothing, dining, industrial, memorabilia, books, records, and other wild finds- they have a huge selection that doesn't get old. On our way up to the lake house, we popped in for a few hours on a whim and were very surprised how much there was to consider. We ended up grabbing some tip-top vinyl, including a Beatles Hey Jude album in mint condition, for a very affordable price. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! This place is huge and has every kind of antique you can think of! It took us about 3.75 hours just to walk through and have a look at all of the wonderful antiques. There are a ton of different little "shops" with each little shop booth being a different antique seller. It appears that the booths are re-stocked often, as while we were there, we saw a number of different dealers there adding merchandise to their booth. The antiques offered varied greatly by shop and there was everything from old advertisements/prints/postcards/maps to vintage sewing patterns to old books to furniture to clothes to kitchen items. Everything is clearly marked by which shop it's from and the price. The employees are very helpful. They are always walking around asking if you want them to open glass cases to inspect items more closely. One employee saw me struggling to hold my items and offered to take them to the front for me to purchase when I was done shopping. After my long shopping trip, my haul consisted of: 1. A mini loaf pan ($1.00) 2. A vintage map of Chicago ($3) 3. A 1957 postcard depicting Belmont Harbor ($2) 4. A light blue tinted huge Bell jar with flip top lid ($7) 5. An antique kitchen scale (my big splurge of the day at $16) Not bad. I really loved this place and am so sad it's so far away. If I lived nearby, I'd be here often checking for the latest additions to the inventory. read more

This store has a diverse selection of antiques ranging from tools, hat stretcher (first I've ever seen), limited nautical, limited furniture, old bottles & jars, paintings & prints, coins, signage, you name it. It has been awhile since I antiqued but I found the prices on the high side. Being so heavily dependent on tourism it is probably to be expected. Worth checking out. This place is absolutely horrible, the staff here are extremely rude and they are not helpful when you ask them if they might know if there's a certain item that you are looking for. The prices are two to three times what you could find it for on eBay or in another antique shop. They don't really have any organization, so you really have to look hard through every booth to see if they might have what you are looking for instead of having those type of items all in one area. Yes they do have a ton of items for sale but you are going to pay gold prices for stuff that is not worth that. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this place and try to find whatever antique you're looking for somewhere else. read more

Oh, how the mighty have fallen... There's been an exodus of dealers out of this mall over the past few months. I was told by dealers that it's because the current owners have jacked up the cost of selling so high in this mall that they can't make enough money to make it worth it to keep their booths there. My husband and I were there yesterday and there were several booths with "This booth for rent" signs and the booths just stuffed with a few pieces of random furniture to fill empty spaces. We saw a dealer moving out while we were there, loading her stuff on a trolley and hauling it out. Another dealer stopped to talk to her and suggested she see about getting a booth at another antiques mall nearby, adding that the owners at that mall "are nice." The dealers who've moved out have taken a lot of the true antiques and quality antiques with them. The proportion of junk to antiques has tilted and made this place a disappointment. Prices are also very high here, though we Michiganders get it that it's because the tourists go here, so if they're getting $$$ out of the annoying Chicago people, we're all for it, we just go there to walk around and browse and do our actual antique buying at the great antiques spots the locals know and frequent. read more

Buyer beware! They have un-posted buying rules!!! Apparentley all prices are as marked if they are less than 40$. Which means they will not budge or contact seller on an item if it's priced less than 40$. This includes used stuff (WHICH IS WHAT ALL OF IT IS) some in so-so condition. This is all great, but they do not tell you about the rules until you are ready to make a purchase. I'm not sure if this is legal. All prices are hand written tags, which to me means an asking price, if the seller does not want to haggle, that's fine. But to set a no haggle or no discount rule based on price is reddiculess. That means there is slot of over priced items in there. A shame because a seller can't make money on products based on a unwritten/ NOT POSTED SO YOU CAN SEE IT rule. read more
