My absolute favorite studio. I love the variety of class offerings and the overall ambiance of the studio.

The lighting and ambiance is very easeful and fills me with peace. this is a great studio to recuperate from mind or body stress!

I went to the Yin and Restorative with Amber at 7pm during the week. I was able to check in early with Amber since we were waiting for the doors to open. The doors are closed and will open 15 minutes before class starts. They provide yoga mats, blocks, pillows and blankets. It was a full class but it did not feel crowded. I am not certain if this is common practice in yoga since you are not sweating in this specific class but I would recommend you bring your own blanket or yoga towel because I noticed after the blankets were used in class we put them back in the same place we got them from. This was my first visit to Saule-Yoga, and I signed up for a two week pass for unlimited sessions. I showed 25 minutes before my class was supposed to start because I thought they might want me to come in and tell me some things about their studio, and when I got there I saw there was a note on the door saying they don't open the door until 15 minutes before class. Not a big deal, I just went and sat in my car for 10 minutes. The studio is located in very busy area with a dance studio, swim school, learning center, gym and boxing studio sharing the same parking lot. You'll definitely want to bring your patience when it comes to the parking lot and breathe! My first class was a flow to restore the class and the usual instructor was not there, so we had Dara as a sub. She was awesome, and the entire class was awesome. I have been to at least six different yoga studios out in the East Valley and I was in search of one that just felt good to me, with an instructor that just felt good. And I think that I may have found it! I belong to a yoga studio over in the West Valley and for months I've been saying that there is nothing like my West Valley studio out here in the East Valley. I was doing the one and a half hour round-trip just to go to my West Valley studio, and I'm just absolutely thrilled that I may have found some thing just as good out here. I will give it a few more classes and then follow up on this review. ‍ I didn't get any pics from inside the actual studio but there are others posted in other reviews and they are accurate. The studio is smaller than others I've gone to but as long as they keep class sizes small, it's perfect. read more

Signed up for the 2 week student pass so I could try the different yoga classes they had and I love the variety! I tried a couple flows, wall yoga, and nidra (sleep yoga). The instructors are wonderful and feels like a very welcoming studio. Make sure to be 5-10 minutes early to get set up and they do lock the doors, I love that you're able to text them as well read more

I absolutely love spending what Gina calls 'Yoga Date Saturday' morning with my wife! Gina is absolutely AMAZING! She sincerely cares about people and there well-being and them releasing themselves to take a mere hour or so a week just for themselves and doing something just for ourselves. On an even better note, I had a pinched nerve or something going on in my shoulder and my arm has been tingling for about a month or two. She had us do a few poses and stretches that relieved my pain and my shoulder and arm is almost back to normal in one day. Thank you so much Gina! You're awesome! read more

First time customer today. Instructor was very welcoming and helpful! I'm hoping to go in regularly now that I've found a place that is between my home and school.. Perfectly on my way home! The studio is very small but I like that, feels more cozy and most of the ppl in the class seemed to already know each other so that's shows a sense of community. Can't wait to go back! Fwiw, flow class was challenging but doable if you've done yoga previously otherwise it's def not a beginner class. The flow is quite fast and to be honest, not easy to keep up with if it's your first time. I imagine by my 2nd and 3rd session, I'll have gotten the hang of it. So that's what I'm looking forward to! read more

I loved the studio when I first joined but the change of ownership brought a change in culture that I didn't appreciate. Many of the most talented instructors left and the new owners appear to be more interested in getting people in and out of the studio than fostering a sense of community. read more

Living Stone Yoga is studio yoga at its best. The teachers are well-trained and very personable. There are a variety of different classes, from restorative to flow (and even nidra). I especially love Chona's wall classes. Wall is a unique way to improve extension of poses and to get a full stretch. I have received an "honorable discharge" from my physical therapist, due largely to the therapeutic benefits of wall yoga. I have been practicing at this studio for several years and feel like Living Stone is a welcoming and supportive family. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this yoga studio! I have been doing yoga for years and have been to many different studios and this is the best one yet! I have scoliosis and horrible back pain and these classes here have been the best treatment! The wall classes with the straps is a special treat. The teachers do a wonderful job with adjustments. Whenever I go to a class, my back pain is relieved, I sleep better, and my overall mental state is calmer. This studio is the best deal in town! read more
