Then he proceeded to tell me he was going to charge me 1 thing & the insurance company another to "help me out". That's insurance fraud! I was told he would check out what was damaged. I did a test run with the walls in my bathroom and the cabinets. I was so disappointed. The color was not what we agreed on and it took them two weeks to finish due to different issues popping up. I was fed up and contacted T&J Renovations after a quick google search. I sent them a message to get a quote and got a response within 5 minutes. They came out the same day to look over everything and we scheduled something for the following day. They were on time, friendly, and finished the same day...which is what I had expected from the previous company, but anywho...they were great! This company really turned my frown upside down. Due to Big Iron Construction's negligence, by not obtaining required permits from the city the permit fees have now doubled, sheet rock throughout the home needs to be removed exposing your work to be inspected. The roofing also needs to be inspected to verify the quality of Big Iron Construction's work costing me more money out of my pocket. Between the insurance company and the money paid out of my pocket your company has received over $114,000 dollars. Then there's the issue of the two party insurance check that you cashed knowing the check required my signature.
