The receptionist informed me that I would not be seen or be medically treated unless the outstanding bill was paid, even though it was disputed.I was told This was the practice's policy, in a curt and very rude manner.. I followed up with a heartfelt letter to Dr. Saladino which I hand delivered marked "personal and confidential." His 'reply' was a form letter discharging me from his practice. When you get there, you see people on their personal cell phones. Am a long-time patient, but when calling to get a sick visit on Friday morning, you get told 'we are closing at noon', and our urgent care is not open Friday's. They are open Saturdays. I got advised to go to an urgent care in the area. Forget about getting timely care from your provider even when you are a longtime patient when you have an emergency.
