Came here Tuesday night around 7pm as a walk-in because I was unable to make an appointment online. I figured I'd take a shot and see if they had an opening. They got me right in as always! Nurse and doctor were the same as I had a few weeks ago. They actually remembered me and couldn't believe I was sick again. They tested me for the flu, covid and RSV right away and within 5 minutes I was given the results that I have Flu A. The doctor called in Tami flu and a cough medicine and I was on my way to the pharmacy within 20 minutes. Orange urgent care is super fast, super clean and 99% of the staff is super friendly and caring. There's one NP there who in my opinion hates her job and is just rude. I highly suggest going to orange urgent care over the other urgent cares in the area... The most i have waited here is about 10 minutes. read more

Clean facility, reasonable wait times. All of the staff are professional except the PA James Lavoy: very stuck up, aloof and unfriendly, poor bedside manner. He had difficulty filling out a simple medical form that I brought with me and it actually had to be redone altogether because he didn't fill it out properly. Apparently, he's new. I would've given 5 stars if not for the same rude and lazy receptionist who was mentioned by another reviewer above. She couldn't be bothered to try to give me my bill so I will have to inconveniently snail mail the payment. I was also put off by the uncomfortable, plastic chairs when I got into the examining room. It's hard for me and possibly other ailing patients to sit on stiff chairs like that. On the bright side, the other staff were friendly, courteous, and fairly prompt. The PA was exceptionally nice and thorough and helped me ascertain the reason for ongoing shoulder/arm pain. She was very responsive to my questions, which is a big plus in my book. I also like that the facility is rather clean and there is an x-ray machine with a courteous technician on site. She gave me a CD of the results that will prove helpful when I follow up with an orthopedic. read more

Orange Urgent care is my absolute go to for all my family's needs. I took my 7 year old who had a prolonged cough and cold. It was 8:40 PM, 20 minutes to closing. The reception greeted me warmly, (despite being so close to closing time) expedited my check in and I was taken into an examination room immediately. The medical assistant Giselle was thorough in her preliminary info gathering and I was seen promptly by Christine Mary Ierardi, FNP. She was very courteous and attentive to our concerns and never dismissed our questions no matter how small it seemed. She gave the prescription and we left completely reassured. This place is a nice place to come to if you need urgent care services. The only part I HATE about this place is the front desk personnel. Especially the Black girl that works there. Now don't jump to conclusions. I'm a black person too. Actually just as dark as she is. But her attitude makes me despise going there. No matter how nice you are to her, no matter how respectful you are, she has the same off putting, shitty attitude with everyone. They all have attitudes but the dark skin sister is the worst of them all. Get it together or I'll go to the Goshen location from now on. Someone in management please help this place!!! Young people talking about their personal lives soo loudly near patients rooms very unprofessional i felt like I was on a school campus the nonsense! That place is literally only capable of doing nose swabs and throat cultures! They wont look in your nose and recommended an ENT? Waste of time, and so very unqualified staff more than any other urgent care I have ever experienced. Of course not once, not twice but third time I said take off my other pharmacy and told them the one I use. Two different people i confirmed it and they repeated the correct one. Waiting and waiting of course it was sent to wrong one! Blind leading the blind there unreal! Misdiagnosed cellulitis as well. Finally they told me they had a patient portal which I still cant find. They put me on hold and sent me to billing. I gave up. Definitely went downhill!! read more

I interacted with 3 employees while at orange urgent care this morning... one seemingly hating their job more than the next. That being said I was in and out very quick perhaps because no one asked me any questions or even took my temp. They did however do the tests I asked, got my results and was on my way. I probably wouldn't go back unless I just wanted a simple test done... if I was actually sick and needed more care I'd go somewhere else. read more

I must say, every time I have had to use Orange Urgent Care I have had a positive experience. Today I had an appointment and they took me promptly. The provider took her time answering my questions. I have experienced some Urgent Cares that are still not seeing patients face to face with Covid symptoms. In education, I have had to be there everyday for my students. I have taken on risk that I did not ask for. How can certain health care facilities still not see patients with Covid symptoms when they are masked, and many, most likely vaccinated? Unacceptable in my book. So rather than go to an Urgent care in my nearby Ulster County, I drove all the way to Orange Urgent in Middletown where I knew I would be seen. My two daughters was seen yesterday for a covid swab, the only person that was very nice and caring was the female PA I wish I got her name. But the medical Assistant was very extremely rude. It was like I was bothering her to ask her what was my daughter temperature as she took it and did not even inform me she had a fever. I recently took my daughter to this urgent care after she tried to catch a softball with her ankle at practice one night. That night they close at 9 o'clock and we literally got there at 8:55. I half expected to be turned away since they close in five minutes but I was welcomed with smiles to come in so that they could assist her. When I ask for a wheelchair one of the ladies behind the front desk quickly went and got one to assist my daughter with getting out of the car and inside. Registration was a breeze and we were able to see a doctor within five minutes of getting in the building. The only thing I didn't like was my daughter need crutches for a few days and they had no more of question is that they give to people and build the insurance. They offered me a pair of crutches that I would have to self-pay for $25. I am one of the lucky ones to have very good insurance so having to self pay for something that I know my insurance would easily cover did not appeal to me. That was a small deal though, all in all I was very satisfied with our visit and the care my daughter received. I made an appointment on line, for the rapid COVID test, since I am traveling. Once there, I was told fee was $40. I have had rapid testing in other urgent cares, with no charge to me. The said they would not bill insurance. If I had known that, I would have plan to go else where. I took the PCR, and was told I would have the results back in time, which I do not. Could not get through to them on the phone, and the paper they gave me with phone number for bio reference lab, was cut off. read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed to be seen. The wait was 5 minutes top. The aid that took my bp and meds was very kind and knowledgeable. The PA that treated me was also very knowledgeable and direct. I was out and diagnosed in less than 15 minutes. I had gone here a few times in the past before Covid and they were great. The wait time wasn't too bad although I did make an appointment. When I made my appointment online, I requested a Covid test just to rule that out. Upon checking in, I felt that was the only concern (the Covid test and whether or not I showed symptoms of covid). That wasn't my only reason for going to urgent care so it was very frustrating. I felt very sick and wanted an actual exam. The nurse I saw initially was rude and didn't really seem to actually care about what was going on. I understand that healthcare workers are overworked right now, but that doesn't change your duties and your job. When the PA came in, she did a quick examination and didn't really listen to any of my concerns or the issues I said I was having. They didn't check for the flu or RSV or anything other than Covid. It was like I was just a number to them just to report if I was positive or negative. I ended up testing negative for Covid, and a couple of days later my kids tested positive for RSV, which I'm sure I also had. Whether or not there is a treatment for that, it is still highly contagious and very dangerous to infants. Not something anyone talks about anymore though, even healthcare workers. There is more out there than just Covid. I wonder how many people are going to work and how many sick kids are going to school and spreading these types of things all because they had a negative Covid test, which is the only requirement nowadays. read more

I do not recommend this facility. I went for a preoperative Covid -19 test which means the results had to be done by my OR date. I was promised this by three employees. I checked with multiple people because it was a holiday weekend. The test was not done on time, the procedure had to be rescheduled, and I needed to get another Covid-19 test for the new OR date. Their ineptitude affected many lives. read more

Super quick, great care of acute asthma attack.

I was feeling really nauseous and so I did a pregnancy test, which turned out to be positive! I called planned parenthood to make an appointment. In the meantime, the nausea was becoming unbearable and distracting me from work and now daily tasks. So I went to this urgent care. FIRST they gave me a GUY PA, which should be fine because males get the same education about OB/GYN as females. However, this male PA, named BRUNO SUDITU, knew nothing. He asked if I was experiencing abdominal cramps. And I said "sometimes I have mild cramps, but the OB/GYN told me it's normal have from time to time since I'm mostly close to two months pregnant. I'm mostly just here for nausea medication. My appointment at planned parenthood is in a couple of days". He totally diss grease everything I said and gave me a speech that I need to go to the emergency becuse cramps aren't normal and maybe I'm having an organ failure. I tried assuring him that I'm alright and if there's something wrong, then I will find out at my ultrasound at planned parenthood. Then I asked again for nausea medication and he said there's nothing he can think of any medication that is good for nauseau. I was so annoyed becuse that's the only reason i drove to that urgent care. Then later he said maybe he'll give me Zofran. And I said sure! Next day, I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacists said he didn't send anything. So I called the urgent care and they said he didn't write the chart up and just went home and didn't send anything. They told me to call back in a couple days when he returns. I couldn't wait a couple days! So after I begged them on the phone to send me something , another provider (female) said she'll send me reglan and that even if he did send me the Zofran, I couldn't take it because Zofran isn't safe in oreganancis ! So he didn't even know what medication was safe for pregnancies! I was going to give this a 2 star but since the female provider sent me something for my nauseau, I'll give it a three. read more
