Personally, the Kurobuta Terimayo was my favorite. The pork sausage was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of teriyaki sweetness and mayo. They are steamed with what seems like sugar water. The shells are sticky with sugar syrup and you can't get the chestnuts out of the shell at all. You have to bite the whole thing and spit out the shell. They are too sweet and super soft and soggy. They are really gross. If that is sugar water that they are using then they should post a sign stating what the ingredients are for those that cannot have extra sugar or whatever is on there. I will never buy their chestnuts again if they plan on sticking with this new way of making them.

I am personally not a fan of Chinese food. I would say it was ok but I don't think I would have it often. The owner there was very friendly and nice. You also get free tea if you eat in at the food court. I mean you could get the free tea to go but I didn't bother. I have tea at work.

It's clear that I wasn't the only one wanting to get my hands on them as there was already a lineup when I got there at 10:30 am (the time they started selling them). They're $20 for 4 and the flavors this week were: Classic Cinnamon Sugar, Tiramisu, Banana Cream Pie (my favorite), and Apple Crumble. The donuts themselves were good, but what stood out to me were the fillings. Donut fillings can taste artificial and fake, but these fillings tasted so fresh and flavorful. I'm not even the biggest banana fan, but the Banana Cream Pie was excellent. Instead of artificial banana filling, it was filled with real bananas and tasted so clean. Likewise with the tiramisu - I'm not big on coffee flavors, but this Tiramisu was spot on. All in all, you can tell that these donuts are made with care and don't taste artificial. Definitely worth checking out, especially for their amazing fillings!

Another addition to the food cart scene…read more Cartel Taco sells two kinds of Korean inspired pinchos tacos. You can go for a pork or a beef option and buy 4 tacos for around $10 or 2 for $5.75. I could do with a bit more spice in my tacos but aside from that the beef especially had some great bright flavours. The tortillas are supposedly fresh although mine was a little tough but they may have been due to overcooking on the grill. These little tacos are quite moorish though and I may have gone back for seconds. An excellent addition to the food cart scene and hopefully we will see great things from these guys. We could also be in for a Korean taco war with the Roaming Dragon cart on the same stretch also selling this fusion fare. This cart is run by the same operators as Abigail's Party and with that experience behind them I think we can expect some great quality and consistency.
