I met a couple of them at a residence they were working on while I was there doing my job and they were all rude and disrespectful. Every one on their trucks when I see them on the road are driving like jerks. Had my roof and siding replaced a couple years ago by savage. It went fine, we were young homeowners and didn't know much better. Whole process went through insurance which is the foundation of their model. 30-40k of work billed, they were super easy to communicate with while the main work was being done. Now a couple years removed we've been trying to get some little maintenance done as the roof has settled and it's been a months-long runaround. Literally some caulking that I just can't get to. Things they said they'd fix for free are now being charged for and I'm going to pay because I want it to be done with. They're near impossible to get commitments from and they don't follow through. Once the insurance money cashes your home is over in their eyes. There's another young homeowner or old person to hound. We did interact with some great people which is unfortunate for my overall sentiment. But their business model is clear and it's very frustrating. Great roof work and communication. However, they are careless to your property. We had a brand new vinyl fence installed just 3 months prior to their arrival. There is now perment marks to the fence that their team did with equipment. We just paid $8,000 on the whole fence and only to have it damaged so quickly. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company, and sister company Legendary Adjusting, are beyond fraudulent and unprofessional. I've been working with them since April to get my roof done. So far they've put a tarp on it, which has since fallen off. They convinced me to sign them on as my public adjuster so they can take my money, not work on my roof and instead halfassedly repair the interior of my home. All the while upcharging he heck out of what little work they did do. When I refused to let CEO Daniel extort me by insisting I go through Savage to finance a whole roof repair- instead of the partial approved by my insurance, he pulled out of our contract. Originally he offered a full refund- of which I have a clear recording of our telephone conversation. To deciding he's going to keep my money and claim our contract ended mutually. We had a storm roll through last year and had savage handle the claim. They did an amazing job. They battled our insurance to get us full replacement of the roof and gutters. When dealing with insurance companies it's important to be patient and to have experienced roofers on your side. Danny was very fair and professional. He got us upgraded shingles, gutters and downspouts. Our house looks better than the day we bought it. The crew is super fast and professional. There was even a worker constantly walking around with a magnet to grab any nails that may have fell. The office girls are great. The are super cheerful and professional on the phone. They keep you updated every step of the way. If you need a roof then these are your guys. I had a section of damaged facia wood that wasn't covered under insurance (wear and tear) and Danny fixed it for free because he wanted us to be happy There was a small detail that was missed after the install. Last November 2022, after a really bad wind storm our roof suffered some damage. We called for some estimates and decided to use Savage Roofing. One of the reasons we chose them was Jose V. He came to evaluate the damage and give us an estimate. He was meticulous in examining the roof. He guided us through the insurance claim process.He helped us to select the shingles that were best for us. Since it was too cold to do any roof work we had to delay the installation. Jose introduced us to Erica A. in their office who handled our scheduling. She constantly kept us up to date as to weather conditions and installation scheduling. Finally the weather gave us a break and the crew showed up on April 11, 2023 and installed our roof in one day. They were conscientious of our property and made sure everything was protected. They cleaned up at the end of the day and everything was left clean. On April 12, 2023 the gutter crew showed up and installed new gutters. Again, only one day to install and they also cleaned up everything before they left. A special thank you to Jose V. and Erica A. You both made us comfortable and glad that we chose Savage Roofing. This is a review of both savage Restoration and Legendary Adjusting. The first two people I worked with from Legendary Adjusting were NOT PUBLIC ADJUSTORS and the second was soliciting and holding himself out to be a licensed public adjustor. That individual has since become licensed, but at the time I was dealing with him he wasn't ,it didn't seem that he grasped the duty that a Public Adjustor has to the client actually. It really felt like he was working only for Savage Restoration. Once Daniel Maldonado stepped in ( the actual public adjustor) the work and claim were pretty much what I expected from the start of the process. I do hold licensing in high regard and I was really furious that I was being lied to about license status. In the end, Legendary got the insurance company to pay out on our claim at a level that they wouldn't have without the public adjusting services. And the work to our house seems fine- it's not leaking inside and the roof hasn't blown off. The workmen who I did see here were nice and courteous. read more

They will not complete or even start the work in some cases and keep filing claims with your insurance on your behalf. Savage Roofing went above and beyond the call of duty for us. We had a couple companies come out to look at some missing shingles on our roof after a tornado, and we decided to go with Savage. After a thorough inspection of the damage, the roof was wrapped tightly on the same day to protect from the elements, and Dustin assured us that he would get us taken care of asap. They ended up filing for a full roof and full siding replacement through our insurance. The roof was replaced fairly quickly, and while the siding took a little longer to get approved (which is understandable), we were so glad we went with Savage for these repairs. In the end, we received a whole exterior upgrade for the price of a single deductible. Erika was wonderful as well. She was available all along the way to answer questions, handle scheduling conflicts, and update us on any news. Overall, we couldn't be happier with this experience. 10/10 Recommend! read more

We were told the entire roof damage, the shingles, gutter guards and inside would be repaired in or around mid May. July came and the outside shingles were replaced, in August the inside was repaired. We are still waiting on the gutter guards, even though they have the insurance money and we were told in August that they had been ordered. Four and a half months since mid May and the job still isn't completed. The reason it appears that they were not getting enough from the insurance to finish the gutters. My wife did receive a call asking if we just wanted to take the money for the gutters instead. As it stands now, I want the job finished. I decided to use Savage based off their reviews but if I had know this was going to happen, I would gone with a different contractor. Some people would argue that they did a service for you by finding a way to use the house insurance to the homeowners advantage. Kyle from Legendary did a great job handling that and my wife and I had no problem with that part. In addition, the physical work they have done to date with the shingles and inside has been of highest grade, but the length of this entire job, it has been abysmal and frustrating. I do not like being the person to wreck the perfect review for the company but I can not and will not give them a good review for their still incomplete to this day services. read more

Do not allow anyone you love to work with Savage. It's odd a company scaled so quickly with such positive reviews and spans such a large area. I guess paid reviews are a thing. Savage Roofing is predatory in their behavior, soliciting engagements door to door, targeting the elderly, looking for an easy insurance claim without risk of much retaliation for their poor business practices. They use fear tactics, instilling a false sense of urgency in filing insurance claims towards individuals that are already not in a financial position to cover costs if insurance the insurance claim is rejected. They've up-charged ~60% from the estimate and refused to provide a breakdown of costs until they provided a final invoice after project completion. They are now threatening again to put a lien on the house in 10 days (urgency) so they can get immediate payment rather than have their business tactics examined further. read more

We had clogged gutters so I called Savage to take a look. Daniel came and inspected the roof and found 2 soft spots, lots of hail damage and damaged shingles. We needed a new roof. He helped us with the insurance claim since the damage was caused by a recent storm. The crew came and installed the new roof in one day. They put up tarps around the house to catch waste and ran magnets all around the house to catch nails and staples. They were very nice and clean. Savage was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had damage from a storm and they happened to be in the neighborhood checking on work they did recently and my husband went to talk to them. Jose came out on a holiday to inspect and was very helpful and professional. They really had so much knowledge and Jose made sure he was there when my insurance adjuster came and made sure the insurance adjuster was following all codes.
