Every one on their trucks when I see them on the road are driving like jerks. He was kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every option we were interested in. He patiently answered all of our questions and was always reachable. We stayed in close contact throughout the entire process -- from the initial consultation, to accepting the offer, ordering, production, and all the way through installation. That level of communication made the whole experience stress-free and transparent. The windows themselves are excellent quality, solid, well-made, and energy-efficient, all offered at a very affordable price. We truly felt we received great value for the investment. The installation crew was absolutely fantastic. Over the course of 2.5 days, they installed 24 windows, one front door, and one garage entry door. The team arrived on time every day and worked with impressive efficiency and precision. They were incredibly organized, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced -- working in perfect sync from start to finish. The job was done quickly, reliably, and with great attention to detail. The final results look amazing and exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Zach and the entire Window World of Joliet team. While initially they were very communicative and proactive, once I submitted my 50% deposit, I feel like the company has almost ghosted me. No one ever called to inform me that my windows were in. I had to call after almost a month and a half to get a status update and lo and behold my windows happened to be in and I was able to schedule only after I called. Then, only a couple of days later I get a call from Paul while I'm in a work meeting that they need to reschedule. We have young, reactive dogs and need to make arrangements for them to be out of the house during installation so rescheduling for us isn't as simple as picking another day. I call back shortly after and left a voicemail of my own for Paul. Almost 4 hours went by without a response and considering there is a holiday weekend and only a couple of days until my scheduled appointment, I had to call back yet again. Over the last month, I have called the main line of Window World over 10 times and I've only spoken to a live person twice. Also, their text communication service wasn't working this week either, making this even more frustrating. Update: The poor communication continued right up to installation day. The day before my 8-10am appointment window I called at 3:30pm to make sure I would receive a phone call when the crew was on their way. This is important so that we could get our dogs over to a friend's house before arrival. I was assured I would get a call 15 minutes before the crew would arrive. I never received the promised call; the crew just showed up and rang the doorbell, leading to a chaotic situation my wife and I had to deal with that should have never happened. I cannot believe how many times I as the customer, have had to call this company to get anything accomplished. I'm beyond disappointed with how I've been treated as a customer since I paid my 50% deposit.
