Bottles

We enjoyed tasting pours of six different meads as part of one of their flight offerings. Each pour is served individually and the bartender presents the can or bottle as well. I liked how she also offered us small glasses of water to cleanse the palate. The Pollen Nation mead, which has light bubbles and blueberry notes was our favorite of the group. Less loved were the Savannah Heat (tastes a bit like Mike's Hot Honey) and the Wild Berry which tastes like grape juice! Still, I was happy to give them all a try for the novelty factor. This meadery was started in Savannah and now has satellite locations across the country, including Boulder, Colorado.

Shoutout to Morgan at the Savannah Bee Company for the super fun mead tasting!!! This is such a cute store for honey samples and goodies, and make sure to do a mead tasting if you're over 21. I had never had mead and the experience was so unique and such a blast. I also bought some honey to take home!!!

This is the original Savannah bee company store. I own their hot honey sold in Costco but never realized it was from the Savannah bee company until coming here! So cool. The costco price is so much better, of course, but you don't get to try and taste the rest. There is something for everyone here! For those with children, they have a cute little two story bee hive for children to play. It's a tad dark underneath but still cool. Parents will need to bend down to fit. They also have a video screen to see bees in their nest. From lip balms to soaps to whipped honey to mead and everything in between, you will find a useful and tasty souvenir. The honey comb looked really yummy, too. We tasted several honeys for free and hands down. The tupelo was my favorite. Made from a tree found in only 3 marsh lands in the US. Bright and flavorful. The saw palmetto honey (known for its medicinal properties) was my least favorite. I bought the little 3 oz jar for $9.50. It was a little pricey, but the flavor was unique and a useful souvenir. We also bought all their whipped honey varieties because I love it on toast! I've never tried mead before and was excited to see what the taste was like. Water, yeast, and honey. That's it! My sisters and I just wanted a taste, so we shared a flight. The mead cider flight was $17. They do not offer a free tasting and require you to purchase a flight of either their wine or cider. I ranked them: 1. XR Cyser (a delicious not too sweet apple pie flavor) 2. Nectar of the Hops 3. Rhythm and blues 4. Strawberry cream delight 5. Monks mead 6. Dispear (none of us wanted to finish the last sip of this one). I would only choose my top three to try again, and I did buy the XR Cyser because it was so delicious, and I've not had anything like it. $16 for the bottle, and they packed it nicely for travel. When checking out, we learned that the company originally sold in one fish two fish boutique shop down the road in wine bottles because the creator wanted to reduce waste and was picked up by Neiman Marcus then he sold wholesale for a while before this store. They still sell the wine bottle honey! (For a pretty penny). Clean bathroom with the company's honey soaps to use. However, no diaper changing table.

Honey samples, children corner and amazing selection of savanna bee products. Friendly staff and lots of items to explore - food and beauty products. Prices online are cheaper and there are coupons for purchases online. This store is good to explore what you would want to get. Climbing tree for kids and a place for them to watch a movie about honey making. Must visit if in area.

Stopped in here while walking around Savannah. There were lots of opportunities to taste, honey and wine, which we did. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We left with several flavors of honey.

No, those aren't bottles of wine on the wall, those are bottles of honey. You will absolutely be amazed at all of the varieties of honey they carry. It's overwhelming and awesome. Definitely do a tasting and listen to the story behind each type of honey. It's incredible to experience both the subtle and the bold flavor differences. Then venture around the store for all of the different variety of honey products and honey wines. The store is just another addition to what makes a visit to Savannah awesome!

Freebie body balm, sourwood, tupelo, whipped chocolate honey

Francis Scott Key as an apiarist: Oh say can you Savannah Bee Working by the dawn's early light, What so proudly bees hailed at the flower's last blossoming, This store's broad types from near and far, Including acacia and tupelo a true delight! O'er the blooms bees buzzed, were so gallantly pollinating? And the queen bee's vast lair, the wings fluttering in air, Gave proof through the night that our honey was still there O say, make a $150 purchase and shipping costs they'll waive O'er the land of the bee and of honey accolades do I rave P.S. The acacia honey is just divine drizzled onto some yogurt

3.5 Buzzes. Savannah Bee is right in the heart of the tourist area. It is a great shop but I much prefer Capital Bee. Savannah Bee has a great selection of Honeys in all sizes. Great sauces. Beauty products. Stop by and have a look.

When we went on our mini-moon in Savannah, I felt this place would be an excellent spot to check out, buy some honey, look at some other items that may be noteworthy. I was delighted by Savannah Bee Company's honey selection, in which we purchased a couple of bottles for the sake of spiritual purity. Additionally, we partook in a mead share and picked up a couple of bottles due to our experience. Moreover, they had a terrific book on the history of mead by Fred Minnick, which I also purchased, along with some Royal Jelly Body Butter with Tupelo Honey that changed my life in ways you couldn't imagine. Savannah Bee Company is a glorious store full of glorious goodness and glory.

None of there honey is from Georgia. Some of it is from China. It's not a local company, and is a scam.

You can also do a mead tasting ($10 for 6 types) which is the first alcohol made by man and it's made from honey!

I loved my visit to the Paris Market! I had seen all over social media that this was the place to…read morevisit in Savannah, and for once that turned out to be true. The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

We had really high hopes for The Paris Market and left a little disappointed. From the name and…read morebranding, we expected more of a true Parisian café experience with great pastries, little snacks, desserts, and a cozy coffee shop atmosphere. Instead, there were only a few macarons, maybe one sandwich option, and the café itself was...pretty much nonexistent. The retail side also felt a little underwhelming. The space is nice, but a lot of the merchandise was sourced from vendors you commonly see at the larger merchandise markets, so it didn't feel as unique or curated as we expected. That said, we're still glad we stopped in if you're nearby. It just didn't quite live up to the experience we had imagined
