Last night we attended the 830 show! It was good! Would have been better I think if we had been at…read morean event with less high schoolers. Seemed to be a theater class there. They were fine and respectful just felt like the comics held back a little because it was kids. We will def go back for a 21 up show. We will won these tickets over Christmas so it was a nice surprise to get to do something in our own town that we had not done. The comics were good we had great laughs. The auditorium is attractive and inviting. The sound is amazing. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I am here for TEDx talks and this is the perfect venue as it highlights area of our community not often utilized. The parking is not ideal, however, the sponsors have made the best of it. If you are visiting Savannah and are looking for something atmospheric and family friendly, this is for you! The first part takes you on a trolley ride that goes around town in a trolley while hearing from a tour guide. This part definitely emphasizes on the historical parts of Savannah and it's interesting to see these sorts of buildings with a bit of narration. The 2nd half had us stop at an old building and when we walked in, we got an amazing show inside. Note that photography is not allowed during the show. Although the story was more theatrical-oriented than historical and sometimes gave a chuckle, the actors have a phenomenal performance, especially the priest narrator. Don't want to get in too much spoilers but it's entertaining to say the least. Overall, loved the unique experience of Savannah!

Both were VERY nice and the the trolly was completely in sync with the guide (reaching the destination at just the right time in the story. The Underground performance was the most unique and exciting experience we have ever had for the environment, narrator, immersive experience and the actors. VERY fun and exciting!

We were quite impressed to find this wonderful venue tucked away in an area which looked to be mostly local businesses. The parking lot isn't very large, but enough to handle the number of patrons. From the inside, it would be similar to a college or high school theater maybe holding 250 people. The acoustics were excellent and for the play we attended, the music was live. Although I didn't partake, I believe they also had alcohol for sale at very reasonable prices. The theater is quite intimate and could be compared to your typical New York Off Broadway theaters. I'm not sure what other events or plays are held at this venue, but I'm glad it exists in our community.

We bought tickets ahead of time and got there early to grab good seats and pop corn. The screen was more projector size and not a full wall movie theatre. The line to get inside and for concessions the last 15 minutes before the show started were extremely long. They also had a cute photo booth set up and I believe they were collecting donations for a charity by selling these pictures. The bathrooms were clean and the theatre was easy to navigate. For an $8 ticket, I'll for sure come back. Even if the movie is 20 years old!

I have tried for several weeks to contact Muse Arts Warehouse to rent it for an event. After…read moreemails, texts, voicemails, multiple phone calls and even speaking to someone in the box office I have pretty much given up. I am a patron of their space and was really hoping to use it on a repeat basis, it is a shame that such a creative space is being handled so poorly that it can't be used for actual events. I also found it amusing when I recently received an email asking for donations, I tried to give them my money and in exchange I wanted to fill the space for a night, last time I check that's how this is supposed to work. For the sake of their business they should try and fix this problem soon, even if the answer is no about renting the space they should have the professional courtesy to return communication, every time you do things like this it effects your reputation and in turn financial supporters.

Last night my husband and I saw the new production of The Revolutionists. Previously, I worked and…read moretaught theater make-up, costuming and sets, and my husband was an actor and director. The script has great potential, but we were disappointed with the production. One actress screamed her way through the play, and the repeated knife jabbing was far too much. One actress, Andrea Frankle, was terrific in the role of Marie. The others lacked finesse and nuance in their character developments. Kudos to the set, lighting and costumer designers which were terrific. And finally, the most disappointing was from the Director. Some of staging was confusing and unnecessary, and often didn't allow the actresses to communicate well. If you are unfamiliar with the repertory theater, try them out. But for this production, I'd rate them 2.5 stars out of 5.
