I have gone here on my visits to Savannah's riverfront and have taken kids and grandkids over the years. This visit, however, the taffy was stuck to the wrappers and couldn't be enjoyed. The smells of the shop are intoxicating so maybe this is just an anomaly. Definitely worth another try.

Listen Linda listen. Every time I go to River street I stop in. They give out FREE warm, soft, fresh out PRALINES. Ooooooooooooh my goodness. If you don't know now you do. A must experience on river Street. Customer service is always friendly (when I go ) and the well organized shelves and cleanliness is wonderful for easy finds. Remember I said " FREE, warm, soft , fresh out Pralines

It had been almost a decade since my last visit and wow, this store still blows me away. The smell of the freshly made candy is intoxicating. There are so many items that look and smell amazing. The pralines always made fresh are something special. There are many options of freshly dipped chocolate treats. My son loved the popcorn options and I was able to pick up some last minute gifts. There is definitely something for everyone. The location is great, right on the water on the river walk.

It's been over twenty years since my last visit to S C K, it was a much smaller store, it's about triple the size loaded with more goodies than you can possibly imagine without visiting it, (which you really should), the only reason that I had any willpower was that I drove here for one thing, and one thing only, the pralines (ok, I also bought a bag of praline coated pecans). I had a very nice talk with Eric, their master praline maker, I even offered to take over for him if he wanted to take a coffee break but he said it was against the rules...I drove 162 miles from Columbia on my way down to Florida to stop in for their magic pralines, you should go, you'll thank me for it...

There is something for everyone here. From candy, to gelato, to popcorn you still find something you love. They offer free samples of their pralines. They are extremely sweet but so buttery. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming but unfortunately couldn't accept tips. I couldn't leave without getting some gelato that the staff recommended.

This was such a wonderful place: candies, chocolates, popcorn and ice cream! We walked by when we were walking down River Street. Got attracted by the smell and look of it. Went in and service was amazing: quick, accurate and friendly. Coffee Smoothie was delicious. And I loved the peach and pistachio ice cream. Very unique. Will come again when visiting Savannah.

They got us in the door with a free sample. It tasted so good we had to buy 4 pralines for ourselves and friends. The young man who offered the samples and the young lady who rang up our purchase were very nice. It was a good experience and not too expensive! If we'd remembered to use our coupon from the Trolley Co., it would have been less expensive. Doh!

What a fun establishment to go into. It is chocolate, candy, popcorn, overload! I was greeted with a sample of pralines, which I've never had before. They were warm and melted in your mouth, absolutely delicious. I ended up, leaving with some of their salted dark chocolate truffles, and their giant peanut butter cups. The cups were the creamiest ones I've ever had and I am mad that I didn't leave with more. All the people that work there were so kind and I can't wait to visit again.

What's not to love about this place. Every time I go the staff is cool and in good spirits. The ambiance is mesmerizing. You can smell the buttery, sweet goodness from the street beckoning you to enter and the candy is fresh delicious. I love their chocolate covered Oreos, pralines, and Turtles. Don't walk, RUN, SWIM, or whatever else you need to do to get to this shop!

This place is a dessert lover's dream! I honestly had the hardest time deciding what to get because everything looked amazing. I ended up choosing a massive Rice Krispy treat dipped in chocolate and covered with M&M's -- and I absolutely loved it. Such a fun and delicious treat, and I can't wait to come back and try more!

My son and I stopped I here while we were waiting for our tour to start. The store was welcoming and so many options it was mind blowing. We kept walking and found even more! The store was so fun and inviting. My son ordered an ice cream cone and he said it was some of the best est ice cream he has ever had.

Savannah's Candy Kitchen is an absolute must-stop if you're strolling along the riverfront. The smell alone will pull you in--freshly made pralines, fudge, taffy, and all kinds of Southern sweets. Watching the candy being made right in front of you adds such a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. We hardly ever walk past a Savannah Candy Kitchen without going inside.

And suddenly I am refinancing my future and walking out with a bag so heavy it should have come with a luggage tag. Let's talk about the damage. Freshly made pralines are unreal. Glazed pecans are dangerous. Cinnamon coated pecans are criminally addictive. Milk chocolate covered Oreos and white chocolate pretzels? I may have blacked out while purchasing them, but I regret nothing. Everything here is made with love, care, and a clear intention to go straight to your waistline. But it is fine. My wife assures me there are no calories outside of our home zip code, and since we are in Savannah, we will just walk it off. River Street counts as exercise anyway, right? The staff is friendly, the candy is absurdly good, and the smell alone should be classified as a tourist trap. If you find yourself in Savannah, absolutely stop in, but beware the free samples. They are delicious, deceptive, and the gateway to some very sweet financial decisions. Consider yourself warned and highly encouraged.
