Counter service was friendly and helpful on this Friday the 13th! This is an order and go kind of spot- no restaurant seating here. I decided on a variety to share with the office folks, and I couldn't resist trying a corner off several scones. Hummm, which one is my favorite? Honestly, I couldn't decide the scones are just that good! The savory jalapeño cheddar, Blazberry (loaded with black, red and blue berries), cinnamon roll and almond cherry were all wonderful and moist!

Yummmm! We made sure to get here right after opening time so that we wouldn't miss out on scone goodness. We got a dozen (10% discount! Yay!) of a variety of sweet and savory. Since I am a crazy peach fan, those were my absolute favorite. But all were so delicious- not dry at all! The person who helped us was so sweet and friendly too. I will definitely be back if I am in Savannah again!

Scones are for everyone! Savannah Scone Company proves that with fantastic recipes and flavor combinations. I was introduced to Savannah Scone Co. by my parents. I love a good classic scone with clotted cream and jam/preserves. My grandmother would make scones for tea. I would go to tea with my family. I was excited for the possibility of a good scone. I pre ordered scones online with Savannah Scone. My father told me they make all of their scones daily. Once they sell out that is it. I have great appreciation for this. It takes a lot of work to make small batches of scones every day. The online pre order guarantees what you order will be there day of. We ordered a variety of savory scones for my Mum and blueberry. Then for ourselves to try the maple oat, carrot cake, royal(classic), Devonshire cream, & strawberry jam. I asked that hers be boxed separately from ours for ease for me. The bakery is located at the Medical Arts. It is 713 E 65th St. There is parking for you, be careful it can be a bit tight depending on if the lot is full. The bakery has a neon sign that flashes to help you to see it from the street. Once inside it is as neat as a pin. It feels warm and cozy. Now if there were a few people it would be tight inside fair warning. The long counter is a lovely shade of blue which displays the scones which are available. The digital menu is right above with the weekly selection. The menu does rotate weekly. Some of the favorites will stay on, but other scones or completely new ones will come onto the menu. I was greeted upon entering, by the owner no less. I recognized her from the website. She was gracious and kind. I told her I was picking up an online order. She thanked me for the order, she knew exactly who I was, because I was the last order left lol. I told her it was my first time in, complimented the bakery, and asked if I could take some photos. She replied of course and gave me a quick explanation of her place. It was a lovely interaction. I always love to see when people are genuinely happy and proud of what they do. After we finished chatting she gave me a few party bits to go to snack on in the car. It was incredibly generous of her. They were delicious by the way. Let's talk scones. I love the classic scone! It was excellent, the cream and jam were yum. And the savory scones: cheddar green chile and parmesan pesto were delicious too. My husband enjoyed the maple oat and carrot cake. So to wrap it up, my entire family loves this scone company. I think it depends on your taste buds as to which you prefer more savory or sweet. Go give them a try to figure out which side you are on!

Once for lunch and once to pick up breakfast before our trip home. Their bagels are delicious. The first day I had a bagel with "lox" and cream cheese and my husband had chicken salad. He loved the sandwich. I quoted the lox, because it has become a generic name people give to smoked salmon. The truth is it was nova. Lox is very salty and when I saw that was the only option, I was confident it wouldn't be salty. It wasn't. The sandwich was perfect. They have 2 options, platter or just the opened face sandwich. The open faced sandwich was a little less money and it was nice to see an option without paying platter price. They didn't skimp on the salmon. I ended up taking the other 1/2 back to hotel any my husband and I shared the next morning. I call the portion enough for 2 or for just my kid who loves smoked salmon. The morning we left Savannah we got a bagel with "lox" for my daughter and one for me to share with my husband. He got a bagel with lox spread and then took 1/2 my salmon and we both had plenty. Service was friendly and it's quick serve. The size is small but was very clean. It's definitely not the delis I am used to, but the bagels were great and the prices are reasonable. The will definitely return on our next trip.

There are two screens that you order on, it was a little slow because only one person was working. I really loved the quality boba, and jasmine green tea with 50% sweetness was just what I needed for this insane Georgia heat. Their mochi is made fresh daily. Since moving from Hawaii, I haven't had good mochi since, and this blew me away. It was incredibly fresh and chewy - lots of filling inside, sweet mango, and constructed perfectly! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Eat Tea is on the side with Jersey Mike's. There is a small amount of parking on that side. The service is excellent! You can order on one of the iPads if you are in a hurry or in general. But the staff are happy to take your order as well. The menu is vast. There are many types of teas, bubbles, add ins, foams and more. I tend to try a new tea when I go in. You never know what you like until you try something new! I love the fresh fruit teas. Yes, they do use actual fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of very sweet teas. Generally I will get mine half sweet or unsweetened. It depends on the tea. Just ask the staff about the level of sweetness if you want to know. They also have fresh mochi and crepe cakes. I have not tried the mochi. But the crepe cakes I have tried were delicious. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. It is not meant to seat a lot of people. But it definitely can fit a few comfortably. There is a bathroom in the back down the hall. I continue to go back to Eat Tea. They have great teas in a convenient location!

Our first visit here, but we'll be back next time we're in Savannah. We went there for breakfast,…read moreand there were so many things to try that it was hard to make up our minds. We finally did, but with just the two of us we barely scratched the surface and we really enjoyed everything we ate (and drank)! Not the most fancy place to have breakfast (has that school cafeteria look) and there's a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area, but the menu is VERY extensive and creative, and the food was very good. I got the three large breakfast sausages rolled in pancakes, which came with an orange marmalade syrup with real orange bits in it it. Husband had the pancake sampler, which came with his choice of three different pancakes from their extensive selection and three syrups/toppings. One was a delicious maple syrup which was great with his bacon pancakes, another was a blueberry compote with real blueberries (real blueberries in the blueberry pancakes as well), and he also go the orange marmalade syrup/topping that I got with my sausage & pancakes. We both had iced coffee, which came with vanilla creamers (a favorite of ours). Our meals came out pretty quickly even through there were quite a few other customers. This is not your typical pancake restaurant, and the menu went well beyond that of a typical breakfast joint. Not just the usual your egg combos and pancakes, but a very wide selection of pancakes and waffles with different ingredients mixed in (fruits, chocolate chips, bacon, etc.) and various toppings. They have a variety of omelets, all the usual breakfast meats and then some, several of them in different styles, including bacon, ham, sausage, corned beef hash, steak, shrimp, and crab, and a few types of eggs benedict. Also, several styles of crepes from different countries, some southern favorites such as shrimp and grits, and some international breakfast specialties as well (German pancakes, potato pancakes. Lunch options are also available, but we were there for breakfast and didn't really spend time looking at that part of the menu. Looking forward to going back on our next trip to Savannah (we're usually there at least a couple times a year) and trying some more of their breakfast items! Sorry, we didn't have much to eat the previous day and so we were hungry and forgot to take pics before we started chowing down. Pics next time, I promise!
