I called the Garden City location and spoke with My'Iesha; they had exactly what I needed. Once arrived I stood in line while she assisted other costumers she acknowledged the costumers that were waiting politely. The costumer before me only spoke Spanish, My'Iesha was very patient and used her cell phone to translate. The tires I needed was in stock, great price, knowledgeable team, and amazing service. Pic 2, mud caked, pic 3 more damage! this is how they expected me to drive my car away.... this dude drove through a mud hole 6" deep. They didn't clean my car until I lost my damn mind on them. This might be my 2nd or 3rd time taking the time to write a review about my experience but I strongly feel this needs to be brought to light so hopefully the owner takes it seriously and stays well connected in communication with this location. Two times i have chosen to give my business to this establishment. The first time, the young lady receptionist told me that the oil change should be approx an hour as i had a scheduled appointment for the first time available however to my great disappointment it was crossing over the two hour mark and i questioned what was going on, well after being patient another half hour it was ready. So that was not a very good start to my relationship with this place. Today against my better judgement, I decided to give them another chance to keep my business and any business that I could have potentially brought to them by referral but i regret the decision i made now. Let me walk you through how today went and how it finished. I arrived to this location 10 minutes to 9AM which is the time they were going to open. Keeping in mind that i had a scheduled appointment for 9AM but that's not a big deal. The big deal for me was that when they opened at 9AM I was the 3rd person there. By 915AM I was checked in and still, no new people had arrived by then. The young man receptionist or maybe a mechanic? asked if i was leaving it there and I told him Yes I would leave it there. Before leaving i asked him what kind of time could I expect for it to be completed, like 4-5 hours max? He responded with a giggle and said it would NOT be that long which would lead me to believe approx. 2-3, 4 tops! I went on my way home and at 1:30PM i stopped by to see if it was done as it was 4.5 hours at that point for a simple oil change and perhaps alignment. Well to my displeasure my vehicle had not moved an inch in the 4.5 hours. So here's my big question... Are these staff members instructed to overpromise and underdeliver so as to hook the customer into investing valuable time and just accepting the outcome or in this case, Was i taken advantage of by continuing to push my work back in order to accommodate customers who chose to wait for their vehicles? Either way, Its wrong and its very unprofessional. Unfortunately, I will never return here no matter what happens but if things get better there then atleast other customers could benefit . read more

Dropped my truck off for an oil change and tire rotation at 8am when they opened. They called me at 11am because they didn't know how to open the hood. In a place that works on automobiles, full of "mechanics " they didn't know that you have to pull a lever inside marked "Hood Release " and then press the switch under the hood. I had to walk them through it over the phone. Then when I went to pick the truck up at 4:30pm I was told that they weren't sure if the oil had been changed or not so they were going to change it again just to be safe. Dishonest and deceitful place of business. Went in to see them in the middle of December 2019 to replace a slow leaking valve stem in my vintage C10 truck with the original rally wheels. Was checked in with the person behind the desk and I pointed out the truck in the lot and said "please be very careful this is a vintage collectable truck" They said "no problem our guys are really good you don't have to worry" I thought no problem because it was a simple tire valve replacement from the new tyre I had purchased off them the year before and was a 15 minute job. I waited in the waiting room until my phone rang, so I went outside to take the call. While I was out there I could see my truck being worked on by the young technician. I was watching him walk backwards and forward from my truck to his tool box getting a bigger pry bar each time. At first I thought he can't be working on the truck, because all he needs to do is use the air unpack driver, remove the five wheel lugs, take the wheel and tire to the tyre machine, deflate it and replace the valve with a new one. No he was pushing the pry bar in to the wheel trying to remove something. I questioned this with the girl behind the counter and she said " you have nothing to worry about we are the best there is" Ahhhhh ok. After 45 minutes (remember this is a tyre valve replacement) my truck was driven back around to the lot and the job sheet was brought inside. I was told I was good to go, but I asked for a copy of the paper work. When I walked over to my truck I went around to the passenger side front wheel to take a quick look. It was then I saw the three gauge marks in the rim of the powder coated wheel and when I looked closer I could see the Chevrolet centre cap was all busted up/ broken and bent. I went back inside and asked the two staff behind the counter to come out and look at my wheel. the girl looked and walked away, they guy said he was sorry and he would take care of it. He asked my where can you purchase a metal Chevrolet centre cap like that? I said I would have to look it up on the website at home and call him. There are a few companies like LMC trucks and Brothers that sell replacement metal chrome centre caps and there are companies that sell cheap plastic versions. I told him I wanted it replaced with a metal one like it was. I got home and called him back to tell him the part number and website. He said he would take care of it for me. That was the 21st of December 2019. Five weeks went by and I had not heard a thing, so I drove down there to see him. He explained to me that the manegment had said to him they where not going to pay for a replacement centre cap, but he felt that was wrong and he had ordered one online and was going to charge the company. That was three weeks ago and still heard nothing. There is some sort of game playing going on down there and they tell you something different each time you talk to them. The fact is they have messed up my whole wheel and all I want is for them to replace my wheel centre cap. They're use to be some great staff working behind the counter, but that has long gone. These guys are cowboy mechanics that have no idea what's going on and zero skill or knowledge to be working on vehicles. Building old vehicles is a hobby and I warn anybody who is thinking of letting these guys work on you car. read more

Went here this morning unfortunately because I blew out a tire on the side of the interstate last night. Thank the Lord for the Savannah police department and my boyfriend and friends who fearlessly changed it next to oncoming traffic. Anyways, the tire I needed to match mine was not in stock but due to being out of town I could not wait a day for them to fix it. The woman running the show was even sweet enough to call my dad and discuss the tire options with him. Being a girl in early 20s means my knowledge of cars is limited. However, the waiting area was clean, fast WiFi, free coffee, and my wait was short! I would feel very confident bringing my car back here again for any future problems. read more

I'm one of the unfortunate schmucks that goes in for an oil change and leaves with a $500 bill, mostly because I drive a lot of miles on terrible I-16 and I'm in constant need of tires. Yes, I'm not happy about paying for tires but I am happy that I was sold on road hazard insurance by Shane. I pay a lot less when I go in now. Not to mention they have excellent customer service all around. I'm not standing around for 40 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I'm barely in there for 40 minutes getting three tires and an oil change--they are fast! Nobody likes to pay money for their car, but they have price match guarantees, the service is great, presentation is key, staff is excellent, they're just really great. The individual I dealt with at the counter was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I was able to get right in here for a tire rotation even on my large 10.5 foot tall 10k pound van RV for a fair price of only $20 including reprogramming the positions of tires for the TPMS system to know which tire is which pressure on most modern cars. Their price of a synthetic oil change was too rich for my blood so I didn't do it, and that accounts for the one star drop. read more

Dangerous place to have work done. They left off a tire lug nut. Dropped off my car a Garden City location to have the tires rotated. Got a call saying every thing look good that they did a inspection and come get the car. I checked the tires for the rotation and discovered a missing locking tire lug nut. Showed the customer agent this and she came back telling me that it was missing when they got the car. So if it was missing why did they not tell me when they called me and when I picked up the car. They were going to let me drive away without a tire lug nut. I now have to buy 4 new locking tire lug nuts. No apology from the customer agent. Looks like the new owner completely incompetent. read more

I was on my way from Jacksonville to Charlotte when I felt one of my tires start to separate. It was very noticeable with the car starting to shake like crazy. PANIC! One thing I didn't need it to be stuck on the side of 95 with a blown tire. So I pulled off at the first exit and checked Yelp for the nearest tire store. I ended up here. They were kind enough to get my car into a bay pretty much right away. Of course the car sat there while they called around to find a tire the right size. I got out of there within 2 1/2 hours which, is not bad, and headed out on the road. My complaint is that they slipped every charge they could think of onto my bill without asking or even mentioning it. I was so happy not to be spending the night on the side of the road that I didn't question the charges other than to complain it was pretty expensive. For comparison, the next day I went to my local Walmart to have a matching tire put on the other wheel and the price came out $60 less. I don't mind a reasonable profit but a 50% markup seems a bit excessive. Including a local lifetime balance and rotate fee without asking was taking advantage of my distress. Not nice! read more

Went in for an oil change and found out my rear brakes were getting low (I had been told on a previous visit that this was coming soon) and I had a failing belt. I am glad they check all of this, and that I am not left stranded on the side of the road because of a breakdown. They were able to repair everything that afternoon, and although it involved some waiting, it was done in a timely manner. I found the charges to be very reasonable. read more

We needed freeon added to our ac system driving home from vacation. The charge was $183.45. We just had this same exact service done back home in north Atlanta for $86. This is more than twice what it should have been. They are very fast and will accommodate but you will PAY out the nose for it. We left w/ a cool car but an angry temper at the unbelievable difference in PRICE. Please beware and shop around before you give this place the ok to do any work on your vehicle. The people are very nice and friendly so be sure to get quote ahead of time before you let your guard down. I AM beyond SHOCKED. Not sure how they have repeat business when customers leave feeling taken advantage of. Charges were $29.99 " ac check ( even though I told them that we had just had freeon added earlier plus new blower. $79.99- for evacuate and recharge Actual free-on cost was $52.42 Their sign says " come on in we're local"... I went Savannah Tire in Garden City this morning to have a plug installed. 2 hours later they finally finished. I asked the manager if the were busy. He said that they were steady but not too busy. They had what appeared to be a full staff. He was nice enough but 2 hours to install a plug?!! They won't be getting my break job. read more

I would not recommend this place. Went there for a routine oil change with the optional free tire rotation. I was supposed to be called when my truck was ready but 3 hours later I had to call them myself to find out that my truck was ready be picked up and also tried to be up sold up to almost $2000 dollars worth of exaggerated immediate must do now repairs and also once again when I picked up my truck after I told them already I wanted to get my trucked looked at again else where. I also noticed that my tires were not rotated once I got home.(it was dark when I picked up my truck.) the guy who worked on my truck told me on the phone before I picked up my truck that he rotated my tires for me. Very disappointed and will never go back to any savannah tire location again. read more

Came in for an AC diagnostic, was told the results were a bad schrader valve and low freon. They told me it would be $225 for the repair. I agreed and when I picked my car up I noticed my AC was the same as when I brought it in, not any cooler. I advised them of the situation and they took it back to look at it. 35 min later they told me my compressor was blown and the repair would be $1050.00!!! Are you kidding me?!?! So, they made me pay $198 for the diagnostic, the schrader valve and the freon. I STILL HAVE NO AC!!! Why did I pay and have a diagnostic done if it doesn't really work in the first place. This place is a scam and they are well aware of what they do. I will never support this company and Ill make sure none of my friends do either. read more

For the past year and a half I would have recommended this place for basic repair work. However, recently I had a quote done to perform repairs on my vehicle. There charge on the parts was more than a one hundred percent markup past retail. My point is this place is attempting to rip its customers off on maintenance outside of a normal oil change. Take your vehicle anywhere else in town and you will see at least a hundred dollar difference on repairs. Also, do your research on tires. This place will attempt to pull the wool over your eyes with words like " I chose a mid level tire for you ". They will make you trying you are getting a good deal. I strongly urge you to do your research before you allow these crooks to take your money. read more

I am a professor at Georgia Southern University. A few months ago, I was on my way to teach a seminar in Savannah that was scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center. As I approached the exit nearest Pooler on I16 at about 7:30 in the morning, I had a flat tire. I pulled off the road, and as best I could in nice slacks, shirt, and tie, I changed my tire on the side of the interstate. Big trucks whizzing by only feet from my body. I got back in my truck and got off at the next exit to inspect my work on the tire. I pulled in behind a convenience store. To my surprise, my spare (the tire I had used as my replacement) was already flat so now I have two flat tires and I am still far from my appointment. I called a cab and it barely got me there in time. While in the cab, I call Savannah Tire and spoke to Tony Cucurullo, the assistant manager I found out later. I gave him my sad story of the two flats on I16 and my very bad morning, told him where my truck was parked, and asked if he could send a truck to fix the flats. He assured me that he would take care of things. I offered my credit card number and he said that wasn't necessary...just to stop by after I picked up my truck. That showed a lot of trust given that I could have just driven away! When my seminar was over at noon, a student gave me a ride to my truck and there it was with healthy tires and the spare back under the truck. As I drove to Savannah Tire, I told myself to expect a massive bill as I had not even asked about the cost and they knew they had me over a barrel and it had involved an off-site repair. I was helpless as an out of state tourist. But I would be happy anyway given that they had come out and fixed the two tires and placed both back on the truck and now I could get back home with no wait. To my great surprise and delight, Tony told me that they had found nothing significantly wrong with my tires other than two small nails and that they had patched both. When he said "no charge," my mouth dropped. I couldn't believe his kindness given my very bad day and my vulnerability. He said to just thank the employee who had fixed and replaced the tire (I did) and next time I needed a tire, shop at Savannah Tire. I will. Letting me know that my tires did not need replacement showed great honesty and integrity. Their kindness I will not forget. You just don't get service like this very often. Builds faith in humanity.
