For those who read these reviews I recently posted a poor review (Under Jake) about customer relations. I was very pleased to see I received a response from Savannas explaining their position on staff and customer safety and even inviting me to email them if I wanted to further discuss the issue of dress code for customers. I did then get the opportunity to meet with club management and had a very pleasant conversation. I now understand the clubs position on safety and security. I am a bit torn. I thought the girls were great, but most of them just sat next to and chatted with one of two guys at the bar, who I believe was either the owner or some very frequent customer. Every time a girl came out to prep for stage, she would go to one of those two guys. There were a few great girls.making the rounds and speaking with the clientele, but only about 10% of them were doing this. That's 90% of the girls who weren't interested in making money....it doesn't really make sense to me. When a girl did sit down and chat with me, I eventually asked her for a dance and she went on to explain the rules of the place. I got very confused, apparently you can only get lap dances in a very specific place, and then you can "upgrade" to what I believe is the VIP room where you get a specific amount of time with her for a price, and then there was a different room with different rules. I got confused and waived off the dance. I haven't been to a ton of clubs, but usually you just agree to a dance and she just starts dancing for you. In summary, this place is overly regulated, the girls ignore the customers, and it just seems like they only cater to their regulars rather than make new customers feel welcome. That being said, there are some fantastic girls and the food/drink prices are great! I went there with a couple hundred, expecting to spend at least half of it, bit since few girls approached me, I only ended up spending about $20 on a couple stage dances and 3 beers. read more

Recently went to savannahs a couple times with my wife. We couldn't get a single dancer to talk to us. We were there over 3 hours first night, sat over to the side. Tipped well for drinks, threw a few dollars on the stage for most dancers as we weren't sitting right on the rail. Not a single girl approached us. We talked to a bouncer on the way out and he asked about our night - we told him the truth. He wasn't even surprised... he said that the girls at Savannah's don't like females, and don't like couples especially. He said "all of them have had bad experiences" and just flat out ignore females and couples. Fast forward a month or two. Figured we would give it another try since we are local'ish and maybe it was just a one-off bad night. Wife really wanted to get a private dance. I sat a stack of bills on our little table. She went to the rail a few times for different dancers, and was tipping frequently. When one dancer was having trouble with her heels and stairs coming off stage, wife offered her hand to help her down. She tipped her, and a few other girls throughout the night - by handing them the money directly, complimenting them, asking them to come see us when they have time, and we are interested in a private dance. Not a SINGLE girl came over. Again we were totally ignored. Saw the same bouncer on our way out second time. He recognized us and asked about our night. We told him same thing. He shook his head and apologized. Said he "vouched for us" with several girls, who agreed to come over. Obviously none of them ever did. Just to clarify we are late 30's, clean, well groomed, in shape. It's not like we are 400 lbs and haven't showered in a month. Also multiple dancers sat at the bar next to stage the entire night, both nights we were there. They gave an attitude when the PAYING customers tried to get drinks. These girls would even tilt their barstools against the bar to "save their seat" for when they came back from dances or whatever - so literally no one else could use that seat all night. We've been to clubs in Vegas, Al's in reading, and some others over the years. NEVER experienced anything like this. Usually the girls are all chatting up my wife and eager to give us private dances. Savannahs is not what it used to be. Dancers are stuck up and flat out ignore women and couples for no reason. They don't have a problem charging you cover, but the girls just ignore you all night. Wish we could get our cover charge back. We definitely won't be back! read more

Nice try, after losing VIP's because of doubling price, they tried a feeble attempt to win back customers by offering a 1 day opportunity to become a Platinum VIP for $100 less. ($500). Doubt anyone who non renewed will come back. As I said when price doubled the $300 you hoped to make per person was way offset by the $3,000 you lost on your cut of dance costs. Not to mention drinks and food. Admit your mistake, to safe face offer platinum for $400 and eliminate free guest. read more

This place is s**t . The customer service is horrible that Michelle lady smh very rude she's miserable ... the dancers are mediocre. Few beautiful ladies ! But the rest have like no personalities very bland . The food was good . The drinks and bartender was amazing . Establishment is nice . But the management and that lady 5 thumbs down the club was better about 3 years ago with past management .. So much negative energy in this place you can feel it . I don't recommend this place if you tryna have a better day all the girls do is gossip , I'm there for a good time not gossip . It ain't worth it go to adult world ! My fiancé and I went here and it was perfect! The girls are all super sweet and approachable. The food and drinks are amazing too and I highly recommend the mozzarella bites. We are now regulars here and love going every Friday. There's always at least one dancer on stage. I would recommend sitting in the seats right by the stage. read more

The only thingg I was satisfied about was the food, bartenders and how well they upgraded the place . Other than that what happened to the quality of the women? Seems like they are just hiring anybody at the moment also may I add isn't this a gentleman's club why are the women willing to do so much in the back ,? Seems trashy to me . Went on a Saturday night. PROS: $10 Cover, excellent security, very nice/efficient wait staff, $5 beers,and an upscale club. CONS: The dancers D & D. That means they dance and disappear. I was there 2 1/2 hrs and only 1 girl approached me. The place was pretty crowded and even at times there were no dancers on the stage. I've never been in a strip club where the girls virtually ignore you. Perhaps the girls are salaried, or their hit ratio for asking for lap dancers is very high so they disappear into the lap dance area constantly. Either way it was not an enjoyable experience. Another point is there were a ton of women patrons. Maybe I'm a dinosaur but to my mind a strip club is one of the last bastions for male enjoyment and a bunch of woman walking around the club just kills the vibe. Bottom line it's a nice club but the dancers contribute nothing to creating a party atmosphere. I mentioned this to one of the bouncers. Hopefully he'll give management my feedback. read more

I went to this place on a Sunday. A girl came up to me and said something in my ear. I leaned in to hear her and put my hand on her back. A bouncer came up to me and told me to keep my hands off the girls. Even the dancer asked him if he was crazy. She actually hit him. I called the following Tuesday to complain and the GM informed me that it is a no "touch club." I said just tell me YES or NO... Did I break a rule? She hung up on me. The best part is a Ukrainian girl was hanging on me at closing time. Another dancer told my friend to tell me to be careful with that girl... the short story is she lifted 400 bucks from my back pocket... do yourself a favor man, this place sucks. It's kinda funny that the one thing the other two reviewers dislike about this place is the thing I love most about it. The girls aren't hustling. I've been to plenty of strip clubs where after each dance the girls do a round and hustle a dollar (or a private dance, club depending) out of the patrons. Savannah's isn't like that. If you're not into a girl, you don't have to give her money. And she'll still do her thing up on stage. I can walk in with a hundred dollars and leave with 50 and still have had a wonderful time! My second favorite thing about Savannah's is the side room where they host live bands. More strip clubs should have live music. The connection between the dancers and the musicians is magical. Plus, they book decent bands! Least important, but still pretty awesome, are the drink pricing and food quality. Both rock in my humble opinion. Upon checking the low average rating of Savannah's, I was slightly discouraged to check out this place. However, I never fully trust everything I read so I decided to check it out myself and even inviting my friend on his birthday to Savannah's on a Saturday night. I am very happy to report that I had an above average experience. Not sure why the low rating haters have so much hate to give (3) 1-star reviews---but I guess you get a few in every crowd. First, if you dress like a bum, you get treated like a bum. Second, if you can't get time of day in a strip club--well, you might need to work on your game (or wallet)... A LOT. Third, strip clubs are traditionally hush-hush turn your head type places which are/were located in undesirable real estate, where the objection is less. If you think Savannah's is in a scary area, I laugh---you haven't seen the world yet. Let me take you a couple places where the hairs of the back of your neck isn't the only thing standing straight up. Now back to what you want to know. The outside is extremely well lit in this outskirt semi-industrial type, interstate underpass area. There are plenty of shadows though--and while I'm ignorant to the crime rate of Harrisburg...I'm not taking anything for granted--stay on the main path and in the light. At the door, they check your ID (which is strict), frisk you after passing a metal detector (bad sign?) by multiple bouncers, and take your cover charge. Once inside, the atmosphere, decor, and aura plus clientele make the heavy handed entry procedure seem unwarranted. I've never seen such an unescorted non-prostitute women ratio in a strip club before--lots of women (maybe looking for guys to meet? good strategy!). There were a few boyfriend/girlfriend pairs, and LGBT groups. Overall, I couldn't figure out the vibe. Chatted with a few other fellow customers, and people seemed friendly and middle class--no thugs or pimp daddys. There are two rooms---one with a DJ, the side room with a live band. The live band we watched was very good. The personable waitress came around every once-in-a-while to see if refills were needed. Drinks are inexpensive for this type of place, in my experience, running about $5-7 each. The bartender seemed a little cold--probably something on her mind or she was busy. The dancers that night were all girl next door types, average to pretty but none that would cause huge traffic jams or auto accidents. True, none came by to hustle lappies (lapdances) except one on stage asked me when the night got late (probably she didn't make her goal). The biggest minus for me is, that I am used to non-smoking indoors. Apparently, the health kick hasn't made it here yet and you can smoke inside. I know this is hypocrisy but I'm going to bring cigars next time I come. Conclusion...A nice classy place to see titties but probably not talk to them. An enjoyable time and place to hang out with your buddies. It was a 90 minute drive from where I am, and I would return. read more

This place has a great lunch special. $10 will get you admission, a lunch entree, and a drink. I love the boneless wings with hot sauce. They are probably the best boneless wings I've ever had! Their seasoned fries are ridiculously good too. Very crunchy, flavorful, and hot. They have an impressive drink selection, however a more basic choice (i.e. a bottle of Bud Light or Yuengling) comes with the lunch special. The bartender that is usually there at lunch is very friendly and attentive. The bathrooms are very clean. The decor is very classy. Oh yeah, and the dancers are quality-beautiful and talented :) It may get a bit too cigarette smokey in there at times for some folks. read more

Not happy with the 20 I payed to get in. 4 people to a bottle for vip, 2 drink mim to sit at the bar. To sit down with Hukaah everyone at the table had to buy a drink that was more expensive then the bar. Basically you have to pay to sit down. And the girls really dont do dollar dances. This was my second time to the club and now I feel that I have enough information to post. First let me say that I have been in many establishments like this all over the country and the world and have managed an establishment like this in the past so my opinions are not flippant. The club is easy to find and looks respectable from the outside (youd be surprised how many do not) with ample parking. Inside it is a very very nicely appointed and very clean club. The pictures posted here are recent and are exactly what you can expect. Cover and Security: Security is treated with the seriousness required and dont let the metal detector give you the wrong idea, the extra effort is definitely worth it. Check the dress code before going. The first time I went it was on a whim and I was in a hoodie and had my cell phone (both of which I was able to check at the door before entering). Business Casual is encouraged. The second time I learned my lesson and everything went a lot smoother. Cover is $10 but they do not charge Military (which I am retired) all you have to do is show your ID. Bar and Bartenders: Brittney was my bar tender and was excellent. She was chatty and nice while keeping the bar running and drinks flowing. Top marks for the wait staff and bartenders. The alcohol/cigar selection is good too and reasonably priced. You will find what you are looking for in this aspect. Entertainers: The girls are above average and run the gamut of. The first night (Thursday) there were about 25 girls and tonight (Saturday) there were maybe 12 but that can be attributed to the snow and driving conditions. My favorite was Cherry a fine tattooed girl with a great personality and body to match but you really could not go wrong with any of them. Experience: It was really a tale of two experiences. Thursday night the girls were attentive and not standoff-ish at all and I had a good time, which is why I went back. Tonight, however, was a complete different story. I have NEVER been completely ignored at a Gentlemen's Club before. I mean completely. The crew that was working tonight responded to the loud guys throwing 5 $1 bills in the air at the stage and completely ignored me and others as we sat discreetly tipping at the stage with $5's (often times multiple $5's per set as was the case with myself when it came to Cherry, the one young lady who was affable but extremely busy and never made it to my side of the stage to chat). When I say ignore I mean at no time did a girl walk up to thank me for my tip or to strike up a conversation that could lead to a private dance. No girl came within 5 feet of me. I was dressed well (designer shirt and bluejeans), tipped well and am an above average looking guy that is definitely not a creep but for the life of me I could not get any attention so I sat and chatted with the bartender all night and watched SportsCenter on a loop. Thursday night I had a few of the girls sit and chat (I always tipped for the dances I do not get and for their time as it is a sales job at it's core). Literally I walked in with $300 in my pocket thinking that I might not have enough money to have a good time and I left only having spent $100 and a lot of that went to the bartender after seeing the girls window qualifying the customers trying to blatantly figure out who had money and who didnt. I stayed a few hours and closed it down just to see if anyone would even make an attempt and no one ever did. I tend to treat even clubs in Harrisburg, PA the same as I did clubs in Tampa, Las Vegas and Los Angeles by tipping well and being respectful but the feeling that I got tonight is one of having to be the loud obnoxious customer to get any attention. Disappointed does not describe it. The one HUGE asinine thing that I found beyond anything in the place is the proclivity for the customers to ball up their $1 bills and throw them at the girls on stage, at times from all the way across the room and missing the stage entirely. The worst part is that some dancers encourage it. I already stated I tip starting with $5's and behavior like that keeps me away from the stage. Also it says a lot about the girls who encourage it... I mean if you have to work THAT hard for $1... I'm just sayin' I will give it another shot probably later on this week. Im hoping the experience is better. read more

This place sucks and I will explain in detail. I've never been inside. Well how pray-tell can I review. Read on... This joint is on a side street off the 13th Street Exit off 83. After that you can probably find it. It's right next to the building that looks like a wwii bomb hit it. Location location location. So park on the street or in the bomb shelter and walk up to the first room. The sign says no cellphones but you can check them coat check style. Nobody will steal it relax. So the first time I went I was on call with the boss so I said no thanks. This time I came back with my buddy who is about 35 years old and 6'5. So he forgets his ID and realizes he just messed up. So we talk to the bouncer who seemed nice enough. We debate coming back. We leave with no hassle and back to get the ID. So we come back and we are aces right? Errrrr! Wrong. Wrong! When we get back the same bouncer asks me to change my shorts. I said excuse me? No gym apparel. WHY didn't you tell me that the first time I was here 45 minutes ago?!? Were you blind and miraculously cured by Dr Phill. So then they call in the suits. One gorilla, dumb, and dumber. They all 3 rub their 1 brain cell together and show us the door. We have bought the bottle service on several occasions at Savannah's but every time it feels like the only purpose it serves is to keep all of the girls away. I find it hard to believe that 4 to 5 well dressed gentlemen are to be avoided by the girls of Savannah's at what should be the classiest gentlemen's club in Harrisburg. Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday. Nice lunch special, lunch + cover + a drink for $10. There was a shortage of girls at the time, so it was pretty quiet. The bartender was attentive and helpful. I've become a regular at the club over the past three months and have had some really good times and phenomenal dance experiences. I've read all of the Yelp reviews and each of them contain a snippet of truth including the bad ones yet having gone to strip clubs for 35 years off and on I'd like to report that Savannahs is one of the best clubs I've ever attended. 1. It's a premium club in a small town. Given the general demeanor of Harrisburg, Savannah's is an immense surprise. It's a clean, reasonably well designed, very well run business. The girls who last there all love it and speak very highly of management. 2. It has an unusual but very effective set of rules. Bar dancers on the main floor are almost always topless with thongs. Management uses full nude stage dancing as a promotional tool for special events to draw more customers. For instance, on Fridays at lunch time there is a brief, all nude dance. They do promotional nude dance events on the occasional weekend evening. Private dances in the dance room are $20 per song, plus tip, as of this writing. There is no touching by the customer. The girl is topless. The room is spacious, clean but very badly lit making it hard to see the dancer. All the lights are in exactly the wrong spots blinding the customer instead of letting him/her see the girl he's buying a dance from. It is also often too dark to see anything or see well. Despite that I've had some superb dances there. Private dances in the Champagne room are topless, not nude, and cost $150 for 30 minutes, plus tip. Touching is allowed. No breasts, no butt. The space is nicely private, monitored by video, and the male staff running the space are always courteous but run a tight ship. Lighting in the Champagne room is dreadful as well, with a wall lamp right in your eyes blinding you as you try to see the dancer you are buying a dance from. I have had memorable dances in there as well. The VIP room (I have not yet been there) is full nude and costs $450 for an hour. Touching is allowed. The dancers are permitted to decide individually if they will dance nude in the VIP. Not all of them do. 3. Throwing money at the dancers from the bar is one of the strangest club rituals I have ever seen but it is the norm. When the girls are dancing on the main stage few customers come to the stage for a dance. Bills are wadded up and thrown onto the stage. Sitting in the chairs at the base of the low stage will get you a ton of attention from a dancer with tipping in the more conventional way happening there, but the throwing of cash across the bar on the high stage is a bizarre experience. 4. Bar staff is extraordinary. Almost all of them are personable, engaging, friendly and superb bartenders. They are polite if you are quiet, engaging if you talk to them when they have time to converse. Most of them are attractive enough to be dancers themselves. 5. The dancers are hard to categorize. Several of them have the finest bodies I have ever seen, making it all the more of a shock that you would find them dancing in Harrisburg. Several of them look like they have no business being in the club. Unfit bodies, bad attitudes, bad dancers. Most fall somewhere in between with most of them being attractive in a variety of different ways. Some of the girls are extremely professional, know the hustle, will work you well and make you enjoy it. Some of the girls are absolute newbies, are incredibly uncomfortable, but give it their best anyway. There are a few dancers with bad attitudes who will create a bad scene. A few of the dancers are incredibly engaging both when you are sitting with them at the bar and when they are dancing for you. I've had several dances I'll never forget. Most dances are good but I'm careful to pick dancers who I mesh with. One of the virtues of being in a club in a small town is the fact you will get a variety of dancers at different skill levels. Some are friendly, some are hustlers, some are standoffish, some are nasty. Each day you'll get a different experience. 6. Each visit is a different experience. One day the club is full of engaged dancers sitting with customers and chatting. The next all the girls are hiding in the back room and the only dancers are the ones on stage. The small town club experience is unlike what you'll find in a big city and can make your trip to Savannah's an unusually great one or an unusually bad one. read more

I have been here a few times in the last year with my friends. Its our go to guys night out spot. The girls are great and the booze is moderately priced and we generally like the atmosphere. That is until my experience last night. We arrive I in separate cars so me and a friend of mine went on in and got a seat at the bar while we waited for the rest of our group to show. We ordered drinks and threw a few ones up on stage. After about 20 minutes we were approach by security and asked to move to the lobby and then escorted outside and told we were no longer allowed back inside. Obviously we were a little dumbfounded so we ask what we had done wrong. We were then told that one of us had taken out a cell phone and took pictures of the dancers and that the general manager jad seen us doing all of this. I want to reiterate that we have been here often so we know the rules. We leave our cell phones in the car. The management was extremely unreasonable about this and it most certain put a sour taste in my mouth for this place. I find it ridiculous that we can just be kicked out because they think they saw something. Thats not how you run a business. I dont think I will be returning even though I was told my friend nor I were barred. When asked if they could notify the rest of our group what was going on they just said no. read more

ok, looks on the place. been to many gentlemen clubs around the world and this one actually looks nice during the DAY. some i have been too look as if you were about to be attacked by vampires or something similar to a horror flick. yes some of the girls can be snooty. i can understand that they choose their customers. they aint there to make friends they are there to make money. the drinks arent watered down and when you sit at the bar made in front of you. food when i ate there was good. but i also dont expect a huge menu and keep it simple. the lunch special is a better deal then any other "sports bar" out there. the women at that time actually will talk to you. been to a wings joint at lunch when it was EMPTY and got completely ignored. even if you dont tip the girls dont drink or eat. the entertainment factor alone is worth a look. the girls aren't bad looking and range from girl next type to some upper scale its central pa for cryin out load. its not NYC/DC or large metro area so you arent going to have a huge selection of drop dead gorgeous women. i would say that's its a decent place to go. read more

The only reason this club gets two stars is for the food. Sad to say about a gentlemen's club but without the food it would get one star. I had to practically beg to give my money away. The management needs to seriously revamp their policies on how the girls work the floor. I offered two ladies to go to the champagne room at $150 a half hour to be told " I'll be right back" and they never showed up. This was a Saturday night. There should have been plenty of girls to collect money but many disappeared into the dressing room never to return. One time I was on my way with a girl to get a lap dance, $20 a song and they start as soon as you get back there even if it is already half way into a song, and the manager grabbed her and told her to get up on stage now. She told me to wait. I went to have another drink and I never saw her again. Terrible experience. I like women that want to work for my money as hard as I have worked for it. Sit down have a drink, be professional. This place is just a high class hole in the wall. They could learn a lot from real gentlemen's clubs on how to train their ladies. Long story short, I had $1000 in my pocket and I left with $870 and a terrible experience. Don't waste your money on a trip to this club. Honestly this is the better type club experience I have in mind, and other men I've spoken too have that decision also, good reputation. i love gorgeous top scale looking women and here's the place to find them; The stage is full of dream babe type sensual females with varieties in body types.. the females are personable (very much so) and a joy to be around but I tip and that helps the women, the ones I have met seem ambitious in pursuing dreams. I found myself at Savannah's On Hanna because I found out my granddaughter had a dance recital at this establishment. As I walked in, excited to see my grandbaby rise to stardom I was greeted by no one, but Lucifer himself. I took by seat the room was filthy as it appeared someone spilled their pro-biotic yogurt everywhere. As the lights dimmed I fished some chex mix out of my purse along with the camera I picked up at CVS before the show. Now I forgot my glasses so the dances of the other girls were, but about halfway through the evening they announced some Amber Valentine, but I know that was my baby Genevive! One star eliminated for the slight mispronunciation. Genevive was a star! I just know the spirit was with my little girl as she shined on stage. People were so pleased they began to throw money which I will ensure will go to the church. I even saw the Reverend, who seemed extra excited to see Genevive dance. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I look forward to developing the pictures from the evening to commemorate it forever. read more
