We happened upon Cork and Fork when looking for a dinner option after a long day of travel from California. The atmosphere at Cork and Fork is nice - lots of brick, and wood, and wrought iron railing. From our perspective, it was clearly the nicest option in the area by far. It was not busy on Friday Halloween evening. But the service was friendly. No complaints there. Cork and Fork is an Italian eatery, which always makes my husband happy because he could order the pizza, which he reportedly enjoyed. I went with a salad with steak. It was so good and really satisfying. The steak was cooked to my liking and the salad was perfectly dressed. Yum! We had a very pleasant dining experience at Cork and Fork - I'd recommend a visit.

I never tire of Cork & Fork! Why? A consistent, friendly atmosphere with welcoming service from the staff, especially our favorite server, Mitchell. Great evening, Saturday weather for al fresco dining. The Margherita pizza is always a great choice with a glass of Prosecco.

First off the view outside of the capital building is spectacular. Secondly Abbie our service was equally spectacular. She was attentive and answered any questions we had honestly We ordered a little bit of everything. My wife ordered the flatbread. Super tasty salty fragrant and wonderful. The. We had the sweet bruschetta with the jam. Super tasty and right kind of sweet and salty combo. Great dish. My wife ordered paperadelle nice braised pork in a red sauce savory with a little spice. I ordered the scallops and risotto very nice dish. Right sear on the scallops and the risotto done perfectly. Great flavor on the mushroom risotto as well Finished everything off with the olive oil cake. Nice tart lemon curd and very tasty. Dense cake with great flavor. What a meal.

Hands down, the best restaurant we went to in Harrisburg. Our server was knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. I LOVED the aesthetic and the espresso martini complemented the overall experience. We started with the cheese board, which I think came with a solid selection of cheese and meats. The pickled vegetables were also delish. Since we visited during lunch, I ordered the pesto Caesar with chicken added. Great flavors and a great portion of chicken. Definitely a great option in Harrisburg!

This place is amazing. Very close to the State Capital it is a quirky place with great vibes and excellent service. A very interesting menu. The pistachio pesto pizza with fresh arugula was delicious, the gnocchi was like a cloud of deliciousness in a tasty sauce, the kale Caesar salad was very fresh and delicious, the salmon dish was also fresh and excellent. I think it is fairly priced for the quality and creativity of the food.

This staff here is always so wonderful. We stopped here for drinks before a concert. Their menu always has something unique to try. It is always peaceful and inviting inside.

This would be a 3.5 star place if that were an option. Food: 3/5 or 4/5 depending on guest order, Service: 3/5 (slow), Ambiance: 3/5 We had a reservation for 2. We were seated upstairs within a few minutes of arrival; no restroom up there and seating area had constant vibration, possibly from kitchen vent/hood on main floor). This place has a good buzz-group vibe. Folks on the main floor and outside, especially the groups of 6 or more appeared content and well-attended by staff. Spaghetti Squash was a standout dish - great flavor and choice for those of us looking for lower carbohydrate options. Meatballs were tough though had good flavor; ours were served with no visible ricotta garnish. Fish was nicely cooked; accompanying vegetables were under seasoned and underwhelming. Brussels were meh (balsamic glaze, though pretty, was not enough to salvage the dish. Needs more fond and more seasoning.) I requested a to-go burrata appetizer and was disappointed (astonished) at the minuscule serving, given the $14 price point: 4 pieces of 1" inch thin toasts, 1.5 ounces cheese (in a condiment cup), pecan dust (less than a teaspoon of salt/sugar with two small pecan pieces in a condiment cup) and a tablespoon each of jam and honey (in condiment cups). We didn't get the pizza, but given our bird's eye view into the expediter station over the kitchen and into the dining room, that looks like a signature dish to try if you're here. The truffle pizza and the scallop risotto each smelled great.when served at the surrounding tables. Definitely get the spaghetti squash. If pizza or risotto are in your wheelhouse, try those. There are better and affordable Harrisburg options for most other dishes.

Great service and food! Stopped in for lunch, the restaurant is peaceful and quiet enough to have a friendly conversation. Ordered the salmon and vegetables and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back for the pizza and wine.

We went for lunch was immediately greeted by the host. For Friday lunch, it was pretty quiet. There was seating upstairs and downstairs. Staff were very nice. We got appetizers and split a pizza. I have to say, I wasn't too crazy about their appetizers, we got the Brussels and the eggplant rotini. Pizza was light but worked well with marina that we asked for. The cost to taste and portion ratio was a bit high in my opinion. Minus a star because the bathroom was ICE cold. Otherwise, would be a cute place to visit. Street parking, meter parking

The food was delicious! I would definitely return again if I'm in the area. Very friendly staff as well! Such a unique restaurant with charm.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!…read more After 15 years, we returned to what was once a favorite--only to experience one of the most disappointing meals we've had in decades. We arrived for an early dinner. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the service was cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming from the outset. Our server seemed bothered by our presence, setting a poor tone that never improved. The appetizers--steamed clams and stuffed portobello mushrooms--were a clear indication of what was to come. The clams were completely devoid of flavor, and the mushrooms were nothing more than a soggy, unrecognizable mass. For entrées, we ordered the Lobster Ravioli and Veal ala Sammy with shrimp in a cream sauce. The veal was poorly executed, bland, sloppily plated, and came with exactly two small shrimp--an afterthought at best. The Lobster Ravioli, however, was truly inexcusable. It was not just bad--it was inedible. We took one taste and sent it back. At that point, despite a full dining room (inexplicably so), we asked for the check. What followed was beyond unacceptable: we were told the owner/cook refused to remove the ravioli from the bill. When I asked to speak with him, I was abruptly cut off and told it was "policy." In all my years of dining--across countless cities--this is the first time I have ever been charged for a dish that was sent back after a single taste because it was inedible. That is not policy--that is bad business. Against our better judgment, we gave them one last opportunity and ordered lasagna to go. What we received was a sloppy, unidentifiable mess thrown into a styrofoam container. We left it on the table without hesitation. Later, speaking with locals, the decline made sense--we were told the owner has been trying to sell the business, and that it is understaffed, poorly managed, and clearly struggling. But none of that excuses what we experienced. If anything, it confirms it. If you cannot properly execute your menu, then reduce it. Focus on something--anything--you can do well. What we encountered was a kitchen and operation completely out of its depth. Bottom line: careless, flavorless, poorly run, and not worth a single dollar. Go if you want--but if you do, don't say you weren't warned.

We finally decided to give it a try and were very impressed. While the restaurant is the corner of a strip mall, once you enter through the doors you are welcomed to a nicely decorated and welcoming Tuscan interior.  Definitely not what we were expecting from the outside. The host and servers were very friendly throughout our visit and made us feel like regulars even if it was our first visit.  The food was very good and reasonably priced! The bread basket contained warm rolls and started the meal. We tried the caprese salad, which was flavorful and good portioned. My wife tried the gnocchi solentina and was pleased. The gnocchi was light and not overly dense as some places, tossed with red sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella and italian sausage. I ordered the Pollo Princepessa special, which was a lightly breaded chicken cutlet with cheese, roasted red peppers, and a shrimp skewer over penne in a garlic white wine sauce. It was delicious.  The restaurant is a BYOB and is happy to accommodate diners with wine glasses and bottle opening. Overall we are looking forward to returning as the rest of the menu items sound delicious.

The Strawberry walnut chicken salad is made fresh with enough strawberries, walnuts, and mozzarella cheese for a dine-at-home experience. Generally, it is a fast, friendly takeout experience. My only disappointment is that our take-out orders usually do not include their signature homemade bread. My husband usually indulges in their extensive menu selection, but I stick with the salad. The Italian BYOB restaurant on Patton and Linglestown Roads is a local gem, and I plan to dine there soon.
