    Cute sitting area

Tried this cute coffee house today. Their coffee did the trick on waking me up! Had the caramel iced coffee, yum! Their sitting area is really cute. Only thing I wished for were some pastries, they don't really have any to enjoy with your coffee.

It's great! The location is convenient, the prices are extremely fair, and the barista was very friendly.

Incredible coffee! Worth seeking out on a Sunday! The eggnog late was delicious! And so was the Turkish coffee

A charming brunch spot tucked into a 140-year-old building in Tucson…read more While exploring Tucson over the weekend, we stumbled upon this gem for Sunday brunch. Learning that the building is over 140 years old made the experience even more special. The moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a cozy European café, colorful walls, artwork everywhere, an open garden patio, and an inviting open kitchen and dining space. The ambiance alone is a solid 10/10. The setup is casual: order at the counter, then find a table. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, and the service was warm and welcoming. For drinks, we tried the sparkling lemonade, mimosa, and coffee all excellent choices. For food, we ordered the Market Skillet and French Toast. The French Toast was the star of the meal. The bread was soft and perfectly cooked, topped generously with pineapple, making every bite delicious. The Market Skillet, however, was a bit disappointing. It was heavily loaded with potatoes and lacked the balance of vegetables we were expecting. It ended up feeling like a plate of potatoes with very little else mixed in. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with a unique atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. We'd definitely return especially for the French Toast and the ambiance.

We so rarely encounter attitude in Tucson, that our experience at your coffee shop on Saturday…read morereally took us aback. All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

Used to come here years ago (2019-2020) when working downtown in an office and fell in love then…read morewith this place. Had not been in over 6 years when I went today to this awesome place. The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. My friend came for first time and was surprised to open her order and find two burritos- I knew and wanted to see her face- she loved the taste and the fact she had lunch or dinner later as one truly is so full of deliciousness- it fills you up! We each had one we took home ! This place- just a treat for anyone wanting fantastic and pure local service and food! Highly recommend!!!

Nothing overcomplicated, just done really well. I also noticed their drinks looked amazing, so I'll definitely be trying one next time. The seating is all outdoor and the decor is pretty eclectic. A super fun place to be! Only heads up is their morning hours are pretty short, so make sure to check before you go. Overall, absolutely worth it.

If Tucson has a heartbeat, part of it lives inside Talega Coffee Roasters…read more I used to live next door, and honestly, they were the only thing keeping me in Armory Park as long as I stayed. When I finally moved, I thought the hardest part would be adding 30 minutes to my commute. It wasn't. It was losing that daily routine of walking into a place that feels so real and personal. Talega isn't just a coffee shop. It feels intimate in a way that's hard to find now. You can tell Tyler & Rene actually care. Not just about the coffee, but about the people who come in and the community around them. Nothing about it feels transactional. You're remembered, conversations matter, and it feels grounded in something genuine. Their seasonal drinks are what really set them apart. They are not cheap grabs for attention or copies of whatever is trending online. The ideas feel inspired and intentional. (Their maize latte and miso latte were perfect) You can tell there is real thought behind what they put on the menu. It reflects a level of care for the craft that is especially rare. It's been incredible to watch how far they've come since they started. They've grown without losing what makes them special, which is not easy to do. I don't live next door anymore, but I will never stop being a regular and I will never stop drinking the Maize latte (I literally dream about it).

I had one of the Spring 2026 specialty iced lattes, the Sumac Floral Bloom. It had lemongrass, lavender florals, with a sumac finish. It was unique, interesting, and delicious without being too sweet or overpowering the espresso. Milk options were whole or oat. They have WiFi but I didn't use it.
