Her class was knowledgeable, insightful, engaging, and comprehensive. I especially appreciated learning about the three most recent updates since my last BLS training. It was valuable information that I may not have received elsewhere. She also introduced me to an innovative device designed to help choking victims and shared a heartfelt story about training hospice nurses on how to use it. Her passion for education and patient safety really stood out. She highly recommended having one of these devices at home, and I can absolutely see why. I took a CPR class with Lisya recently and it was great experience!! Lisya is so informative and her descriptions are so detailed. She knows exactly how to throw in humor to keep it light while highlighting the importance of the subject matter. I have been certified on and off for many years and this is the most clear concise description I have ever experienced! I feel more confident leaving her class than I ever have!! My one suggestion would be to provide antibacterial wipes to wipe down the dummies after each participant has their turn. read more

I randomly tagged along when my mom told me she'd be going to a CPR class - and I'm so glad I did! Lisya taught the class in her lovely and clean backyard in a beautiful residential area of Chula Vista. She was warm, friendly and was genuinely enthusiastic about the teaching the subject matter. There were only three students, but we each asked a number of questions throughout the class and she answered each with expertise and was a wealth of knowledge on life saving techniques. She used high quality equipment that was up to date, even had some items that were helpful and added to the training but don't usually see in other CPR classes. I felt like I had enough practice in Lisyas class to confidently jump in if a child, infant, or adult life was in danger! read more

Hands down the best. From the equipment to the instructor you will not find better. The mannequins have lights that tell you if you're not compressing the chest deep enough or too deep, too fast, too slow and makes it very easy to understand the rhythm and depth of compressions necessary to save a life. The equipment to show proper Heimlich maneuver was so fun I had to keep reminding myself this is serious, and to take it serious. I feel very confident that "God forbid" something happens that I have the tools and knowledge to save a life. I can't thank Lisya enough. Her style is very friendly, patient, and informative.
