Dave was extremely professional, patient, positive and knowledgeable. The class was interactive, educational and lots of fun. Snacks and drinks were provided - definitely a plus! As soon as you're paid, they just give you attitude, never responding to messages or call backs, everything is a no or they can't help you. Miss a day of class and your whole schedule is ruined because they'll never schedule to make it up, ask other students it's not just me, no over ever gets a response. Sure it's a fast track program but at least have some people skills when students are asking simple questions. We also noticed the instructors were constantly changing so one would teach one way and another a different way. Again, you get what you pay for.

However, the computer was monitoring me and giving advice that was super helpful. I believe that my favorite thing about Surefire would be the convenience, there are multiple locations in San Diego and they are offered at by the hour. There was a link that had videos of someone else practicing CPR on the mannequins, which was super helpful- on that same link showed a video of instructions on how to enter the building. Once I arrived to the room, I turned the light on, wiped down the mannequins with a sanitizer wipe, and then logged into the computer. You're given multiple attempts to pass, and it will give you advice on how often you should compress/ventilate, when you switch, and how deep your compressions should go. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

I was sent a few videos with tips for passing the skills check and clear instructions on how to get to the location/suite. Despite there being no instructor, the location feels very safe and there are so many instructions posted that one would know exactly what to do to pass their skills check and in a timely manner. I highly recommend, a great alternative with even better results…read more I'm writing this review on behalf of my son who recently completed the full-time CNA program at Healthcare Science Academy in Chula Vista and I can confidently say it was money well spent. Originally, we looked into a CNA program at a location nearby...they had too many applicants. That's when I searched around the area and found this school, and honestly, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The program was well structured, the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive and the learning environment was professional and encouraging. He had a thorough clinical rotation at a skilled nursing facility/rehab nearby. My son learned so much during the course and more importantly he PASSED his CNA exam on the first try (btw, he really studied hard and practiced blood pressures, checking respirations and heart rate on each of our family members.)
