The store here is like the usual big lots- it's clean, employees are helpful and it's easy enough to find what you want. But overall, Big Lots over the years, and especially during covid and after it was more manageable these days, keeps raising their prices. The higher priced items, which are becoming increasingly a lot more of them, are not discounted much- it's the lower priced items that'll be 70% and lower, with big ticket items, it's a joke. We really need a real discount store, that actually understands that these days, our dollar really has to stretch because more than ever, it's difficult. I'd rather support small businesses as much as I can. I know small businesses are pricier, but at least you know who the money is going to and helping support. With these chain businesses- it all goes to the higher ups and the CEO. Overall, I'm disappointed in Big Lots, and I hope people are price conscious a bit more these days, because again, our dollar has to stretch.

I personally would like the Rose's back at this location, that's a discount store and not costly, unlike Big Lots. On delivery day, I received a queen mattress, a king bed frame, a king mattress protector. The pillows were correct (how can you screw those up). I contacted the store and was told to just put the mattress on the floor, it would be ordered and delivered the following Wednesday or Thursday (I can't remember the exact day). I never got the call the night before for the delivery, so I contacted them the day of alleged delivery and they told me it wouldn't be delivered until next week. It wasn't ordered. So I finally received the correct bed frame, but 2 months later, have not received the mattress protector. I was told the mattress protector was ordered and the manager (Cat, who placed the initial order) said that she would personally put it in the mail and have it delivered to my home when it comes. I have attempted to call Mattress Warehouse in Lavale, many times they do not answer the phone. The couple times they did answer the phone, I was told, its on backorder, or I will have to call the manager, she is off today, and I will call you back. I never received the call back. I have attempted to contact the store at different times of the day, no answer. I have even called every hour during their hours of 10am-9pm-no answer. I have contacted customer service who gave me the number for the regional manager (Winston). Winston has been contacted, I left messages for Winston, Winston never returned my calls either. Customer service at one point told me that the mattress protector wasn't even ordered. I now have the number of another manager, who I have called and left a message for, still waiting on this phone call. Overall, if you would like a great experience and would like the correct sizes ordered, don't go to Mattress Warehouse.
