I personally would like the Rose's back at this location, that's a discount store and not costly, unlike Big Lots. I'm just pretty disappointed, I think it was a couple years ago when I noticed the prices going up- and the rampant parts of covid and after it became a bit safer and easier to manage, Big Lots still decided to keep raising their prices. The store here is pretty clean, the employees are helpful and it's easy to find things, but in general, you're better off going to a real discount store.

On delivery day, I received a queen mattress, a king bed frame, a king mattress protector. The pillows were correct (how can you screw those up). I contacted the store and was told to just put the mattress on the floor, it would be ordered and delivered the following Wednesday or Thursday (I can't remember the exact day). I never got the call the night before for the delivery, so I contacted them the day of alleged delivery and they told me it wouldn't be delivered until next week. It wasn't ordered. So I finally received the correct bed frame, but 2 months later, have not received the mattress protector. I was told the mattress protector was ordered and the manager (Cat, who placed the initial order) said that she would personally put it in the mail and have it delivered to my home when it comes. I have attempted to call Mattress Warehouse in Lavale, many times they do not answer the phone. The couple times they did answer the phone, I was told, its on backorder, or I will have to call the manager, she is off today, and I will call you back. I never received the call back. I have attempted to contact the store at different times of the day, no answer. I have even called every hour during their hours of 10am-9pm-no answer. I have contacted customer service who gave me the number for the regional manager (Winston). Winston has been contacted, I left messages for Winston, Winston never returned my calls either. Customer service at one point told me that the mattress protector wasn't even ordered. I now have the number of another manager, who I have called and left a message for, still waiting on this phone call. Overall, if you would like a great experience and would like the correct sizes ordered, don't go to Mattress Warehouse.

This is a locally owned, family-owned small business that has been in the area for decades…read more Formerly known as Zembowers on Liberty Street, we grew up going there for odds and ends, Christmas lights, plumbing needs, paint, rakes, and things for repairs and new construction around my family's house. The family is very friendly, husband and wife, who are hands-on owners and will physically mix paint, cut pipe, give you advice, point you to the right aisle, and give you a variety of options for what you are looking for. Sometimes their selection is lacking, especially if there has been a rush of customers, but overall, being downtown working for many years back-when, why would I run to Lavale and have to fight lines when I can walk right down the street and get taken care of quickly. What's also cool that you wouldn't think of- they have a variety of services as well that at big box stores you'll fight tooth and nail to have someone help you and probably then just pawn it off on another associate. Here at this location - they cut glass, cut pipe, mix paint, make keys, and a variety of services you wouldn't expect. Very impressed! Will be back!
