Get everything you want, since you may not see it on your next trip. If you want cash back, ask the cashier if she has cash. She may send you to another register. I literally purchased it at the Marlow Heights location and when I went to Oxon Hill, she wouldn't honor the message on the bottom of the receipt that read... "We will gladly exchange ANY unopened item with original receipt. We do not offer refunds." sometimes you give ppl manager titles and they get beside themselves..... Well, apparently this store doesn't honor their exchange policy either..... so shop and hope not to have to exchange anything .....

Whether I'm making a planned trip or just stopping by on a whim, I always enjoy browsing the stores. Some days I have better luck than others, but that's just the nature of shopping--sometimes you find exactly what you're looking for, and sometimes you don't! Most of the stores I shop at are clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas are always well-kept and have plenty of seating for people to relax. The bathrooms are also fairly clean, which is always a plus. One place I'm not a huge fan of is the Starbucks. One of the cashiers can be a little unfriendly and rude toward customers. The first time I interacted with him, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day or was tired. However, after having another interaction with him and witnessing how he spoke to another customer before me, I realized that maybe it's just his personality. ‍ Overall, I really like this outlet center. The stores typically have great sales throughout the year, and there's a nice variety of options for everyone--it just depends on what you're looking for. The focus is on shopping, so food choices tend to be slim and there are a few food trucks in a little park to help ease those hunger pains while shopping. The stores are always on trend and well-stocked with bargains. I've never had any issues at any of the shops finding what I need and the staff in the stores are always helpful. So I just walked in the store, ready to get interviewed so I showed the security guard my confirmation email/text but the manager said, "we're not hiring and we use a third party." That disappointed and embarrassed me, I don't understand why they would do this. Why are you advertising a job listing when you aren't hiring people? It's not only an embarrassment and humiliation on my part but to the other applicants who applied for this job listing. The ultimate intention of this post is to alert people that not every job listing is true and that the company should be more transparent and factual when posting said job listing and if they're not hiring people, they should email the applicants politely saying that they're not hiring. Edit: I'm a college student and I applied to this job as a part-time worker. The management didn't allow me to sit down with me to explain how come they weren't hiring.

They also had plenty of seasonal items (for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) for low prices. And to my surprise, they even had inexpensive make up. To top off my positive shopping experience, my cashier was very pleasant. I saw the brightly colored weave and misjudged her. I expected her to be loud and rude. But she was very sweet. I assume part of the problem is theft but it's disappointing since you normally expect that you can just pop into the Dollar Tree and get $20-$40 of inexpensive decent quality goods with a reasonable selection. Here it's really slim pickings. I used to come here for quick hit items that I didn't feel like going into the nearby Giant foodstore for, but now I just walk in and walk out empty-handed and am kind of forced to go to Giant. I hope it doesn't go out of business because I think the community over there needs this store as a resource, but to all good things come an end. You can't make sales if the shelves are empty.

They're not overly aggressive, but at times they come close to being a little too persistent. Another thing I've noticed is that quite a few items are kept behind locked cases. While it can be inconvenient to wait for assistance, I also understand that stores have to take measures to reduce theft. The value is good for me because I shop sales and clearance. I found a fun black top that might make an appearance at a future Yelp event for $9.00. Most of the aisles were neat . It could be a full time job just picking up after customers. There were many employees in the store but not at the registers. Two registers were open. There were four or five employees behind the register area without any sense of urgency. I wasn't trying to come here and I can't say I will return to this location.
