Looking for baby back ribs and I was trying to find the briskets, ribs and other large meat cooler and my sister laughs and says no they have baby backs half rack wrapped and in the shelf next to other pork products...they only had 4 half racks in styrofoam and Saran Wrap...lol no full racks unprocessed. But don't think too many retired people are making large amounts of ribs like we do in Texas. Cashier and bagger were both retired lady's but service was friendly and didn't take too long to check out.

I got home seen that it wasn't what I had asked for and went back to the store to exchange and was told it could not happen. I will admit I made a mistake by not checking it but when you ask for one thing and they give you another they have some responsibility. Terrible customer service even with some of their products being cheaper I will no longer shop at this store.

The aisles are much wider than we are used (large footprint) to in Orlando so it offers an elevated experience and is easier to navigate. When entering, we immediately noticed there was a lot of great hospitality vocals from their associates such as 'I'll be with with you in just one moment,' and 'thank you.' This is not over-the-top-hospitality; but, the fundamentals (that are absent and accepted in other businesses) and something that we recognized when entering this Publix store. Just some positive vibes and acknowledgement of their customers. Store was organized, well-stocked, and super-clean everywhere.

Poor Customer Service at Grand Traverse Publix…read more My spouse and I have been shopping at the Grand Traverse Publix for four years. The staff on the floor and at the registers have always been friendly, and several even recognize us when we walk in. However, this was my first time using the customer service desk -- and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. For months, I've been trying to find Armour Vienna Sausage - Reduced Sodium. None of the four Publix locations near me have had it in stock. Two weeks ago, I asked the cashier about it, and they suggested placing a special order at customer service. Great idea, I thought. I went to the desk, explained the situation, and the employee checked the back before offering to order a case for me. I filled out the form and was told they would call when it arrived. The next day, I stopped by again and was told it usually takes 2-3 days. Two weeks passed with no call. When I returned to ask about the order, Kristen at the desk was helpful and contacted someone named Matt to check on it. He called back and said there was no record of any order at all. As we were talking, the original employee who took my order walked in and said, "All we do is put the order in the basket -- after that it's up to them." Not exactly the kind of answer that inspires confidence. The assistant manager, David, eventually came out but didn't introduce himself until I asked. While I explained the situation, he typed on his handheld device and told me another store "might" have some, even though I had already checked. Then he asked if I wanted to place the order again. At that point, the answer was no. It's disappointing that a store known for customer service dropped the ball so completely. I ended up ordering the product from Walmart online, and it will be delivered this week. The lack of follow‑through -- and the dismissive comment from the employee -- was the final straw.

Publix is always clean and well- stocked. The staff are all cordial. So they must be well managed as these things were true at this location, as they are at Magnolia or Lake Deaton. This one is near the crazy busy Lowe's, so convenient if you are going there.
