Terrible Grocery Store when compared to places like Kroger, Aldi, Trader Joe's. The pricing is way too expensive

About 11 am yesterday my family swung by here to grab something for a gathering. Good selection of things, however i didn't feel too welcome. It's one of the best grocery stores to shop in Lemoore. Cashiers are pleasant and store is clean and well stocked. Prices are a little higher but you either drive to Hanford or shop local. read more

I love Save Mart grocery store and actually miss them. It was nice to be back home in California and to go shopping here the other day. For some reason, just being in this store made me feel like I'm home...just an unexplainable homey feeling. It was good to see liquor in a grocery store again and not just beer. This place is super overpriced, and most of the produce is covered in mold. I'm not paying top dollar for moldy produce.

The prices may be a bit high (idk I always go for the cheapest options) but the service is really nice!

I have shopped at savemart for over 30 years. The last couple of months have been horrible shopping there. I mainly shop there now for meat and do most of my other shopping at Wal Mart. Their prices are way higher then Walmart on everything but the meat. I look at the ads and go to savemart when they have meat on sale. Lately the meat that they have on sale is either out altogether, or you have to wait for it, but also waiting are 5-10 other people, so will there be enough for everybody when they finally bring it out? This time when I went the hamburger they had on sale was out on the shelf. They said it would be 10 minutes and they would have more out. shopped and when I went back, there was still none out, but of course there were a lot of people now standing there waiting for it. Their steak was on sale with the clip coupon, so of course the correct price doesn't show on the package. I picked a package that was sitting with all of the rest and when I went to check out I was told that it was not the correct package, that it was not a max pack. I ended up leaving with 2 bags of groceries. Neither one of them included the meat that I had gone there for in the first place. I am tired of being frustrated every time I go there, so I think it is about time to shop somewhere else!! read more

As an impulse buy, I grabbed an apple fitter from the Save Mart in Lemoore a couple of days ago. It was the worst apple fritter I've had in my life. It might have been the worst doughnut I've had in my life. I didn't see any 'day old - 1/2 price' warning stickers anywhere. But from the staleness of my apple fritter, I can only assume It was at least a day old. Who knows? Maybe all their doughnuts are a day old. I came here on my lunch break for the first time yesterday. I was really craving chicken strips so I decided to check out their deli. I was helped by Orlando, he was really great! I ended up purchasing chicken strips and a caesar salad with chicken from the deli case. Everything was really good and fresh, they don't skimp on the chicken either in the salad! I ended up going again today because I was so obsessed with the chicken strips and caesar salad. This will definitely be my go to spot for my lunch breaks now! Bad meat quality!!!!! I bought ground beef here yesterday 9.18.17 and was going to cook it the next day and today when I opened it it was all brown and smelled really bad the sell by date said til 9.20. I went to the store today 9.19.17 and bought another ground beef this one but was ok but I also bought 2 beef sirloin and the sell by date was 9.24 and guess what bought bad underneath. Top was nice and red but the bottom was stinky and brown!!!! I am rally pissed that this happened twice back to back!!! Will just have to buy my meat at Costco!! They do not tell guests they do not accept returns. I said I was buying this for an elderly woman who was displaced by wildfires. I even said, "If she doesn't like it I can return it." Neither the bagger nor the cashier said they do not take returns. ALL other stores do at this point. $55 in overpriced, unusable food items. So sad. Also, very expensive market. Save Mart in Lemoore is the closest market in my area. I've shop there for many years. In the past 12 months it has decrees in their quality of rotating products which have an expiration date. I've bought milk, to only find out that it expires the next day. I've bought packaged fish products to find to find out I had one day to cook it before it's expired. This last time I went, I needed a quart of Half & Half. I had to buy two pints because the quarts were already two days past expiration date. I now drive to Hanford to do my shopping. Lemoore Save Mart is near, but not worth the frustration of dealing with products I should not have to worry about if it's good or not. read more

Terrible customer service. Completely ignore the customer and proceed with their conversations with the bag person. A prime example of not putting the customer first. Save Mart is still a good place to buy groceries. Though there are a couple of things that are quite overpriced, most of the other items in the store are quite reasonable. Upon entering through the right entrance (near AT&T), you will first encounter the cashiers and baggers ahead of you. It's a big help to have someone bag your groceries while you're paying; however, there are times that you have to wait for the cashier to do the bagging. It depends if they have a lot of restocking to do or if the store is really busy. After entering, on your right is a bakery and deli. Quite nice, if you ask me! It reminds me of the Super Wal-Mart's. They're always cooking something, but if one of their items are not being touched, it sits there warmed up. The rest of the store is quite nice and clean. The vegetables are automatically washed every 5 minutes. There is a sprinkler-device that rains on the veggies to keep them as fresh as possible. I rarely see any trash on the floor since there is always at least one person sweeping the floors. The only complaint I have is that the "fresh fish" section, near the back of the supermarket, tends to have that fishy smell and proliferates throughout the store; not always, but on quite a few occasions. This used to be the only supermarket in Lemoore, but now, Fresh & Easy has a branch here. Even with F&E, Save Mart seems to still be the occasional "go-to" grocery store. It's located at a convenient location, so it is quite easy to access. read more

This store is clean and organized! Open late which is a plus because with my schedule I need a store that is open late. This store has a good team, they are all friendly and willing to help even if theyr busy! You can get really great deals especially if your a member, but theres somethings your better off buying elsewhere or less, what you pay for at a store with a union. read more

This used to be the sole supermarket, but with a Fresh & Easy arriving it certainly has bigger room but less savings going for it. It feels really cramped for such a large place, and has a Union Bank of California branch in that's open on extended hours most days. read more

I shop here more often than any other grocery store in this town for a combination of reasons. 1, They are the most convenient to where I live, 2, Compared to best buy market they are way cleaner 3, Compared to Fresh and easy they have more things that I want They have some pretty good sales from time to time, but unfortunately because they do have a bigger selection that say Fresh and Easy, they can't put all of the sale/ clearance items in one easy to find location. I like that a lot about their competitor. Things I don't like about this place is that they are definitely more expensive than going other places. I drive by wal mart every day on my way home from work, so when I know I need someting like bread, I'll stop there and get the Sarah Lee Honey Wheat I like for less than $2 rather than coming here and getting it for over $4. I also don't like their hot foods. They usually don't have a good selection and it's almost never fresh. I used to work at a super target and they were very serious about removing and replacing any item that was there for more than say an hour so it was always fresh. I wish this place had the same views on freshness. I don't know how many times I though, well, I give them another try and was disappointed. Aside from the fact that savemart is always clean and the employees are always pleasant, I think it's important to mention the store manager. I frequently see him walking in to work or walking out at the end of the day. As he enters and exits, he picks up trash from the parking lot, cleans up around the trash cans, gathers carts, and greets everyone. It's so nice to see someone who takes such great pride in his store and leads by example by doing tasks many managers would assign to subordinates. read more

First store has been updated. Looks organized but not everything you need is on sale or even in stock. I purchased some ground beef to cook and get it home to be turning brown. They covered the meat with stickers to hide. Some cashiers greet you and some just start scanning. More busy talking to their baggers. Customer service seems not to be their priority at all. The worst phone etiquette I have experienced in a long time! I called looking for price on a rug doctor. Pushed button for service desk. No answer. Got transferred to meat department. He transferred me to bakery. Then got hold again and a rude woman answered. I asked for price and availability. She told me. I then asked how much the soap was. She said it varies. I hate coming here. My last visit I had 2 items and an employee cut me off at a line with a quarter filled cart. Could have hit me with it if I didn't step back. DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. While I stood there waiting to put my stuff down, another employee stared at me until I was able to put my TWO items down on the belt, then immediately offered to help the customer behind me. The time before that, someone purposely hit my car with a cart pretty hard. I asked to speak with whoever handles issues like that...he didn't know jack crap (Loss Prevention/Security). Kudos to the bakery. I went in and ordered a full sheet cake for a military retirement. The person who helped me order answered all my questions. I provided pics. When I picked up the cake I was amazed. It was better than I imagined and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend the bakery. read more
