I usually will buy treats for family on my trips out of town so I was excited when I heard we were getting our own Paris Baguette! Comparable to other locations, I believe our own location holds its own. The variety of pastries are amazing if you love croissants- but they have more than just croissants. My favorite are the fruit cream croissants. I've also tried some of the cakes and they're so delicious. It's a bit on the pricier side but soo good lol. Ive had the biscotti cake and mango coconut. They have a great variety of pastries and drinks. One of my last visits, we took my parents for my mom's bday and we shared a couple of cake slices together. She was overjoyed and brought to tears to be able to enjoy something simple as eating cake in a bright cafe- given her humble beginnings. I'm really glad Paris Baguette is here in Fresno so I can continue to share these "big city" treats with my small town parents. read more

I've only visited twice and they're pretty tasty. I like the self serve experience and the fun sweets they have. The first time I got a box of 6 items and this second time I got 2 items. Surprisingly, my first time here at this bakery since it has opened. It's self serve so you basically get a tray and tongs then get whatever your heart desires. I had to have some self control so I grabbed things I knew my kids would enjoy as well. The bakery is nice and bright and clean. It looks quite new still and not ran through just yet. The service is basically you checking out when you're done choosing your pastries or lunch. I also grabbed the Korean bulgogi salad which was pretty good without even using the dressing. A lot of times when I've went (when it gets busy at night), I have gotten a tray that doesn't have a paper (they ran out), there's no clean tongs, and listen--I'm the first to forgive staff, but I've not been impressed with the staff either. Not to mention, the pastries themselves look nice but honestly, they are pricey and I don't exactly care for them after I buy them. I would say the savory ones are somewhat worth it, like hot dog buns. This is not to say that it's bad, I just would say nothing is impressive to me. Huge shoutout to Emily and Melissa! They were super friendly, very helpful and made this experience so great! Thank you both! This place looks a lot bigger in the pictures. When you come inside, there's a small seating area to the right, tables are pretty close to one another, even the display cases are very close to the front door. Not very comfortable when it gets busy, not a lot of breathing room for you to look around. The cases are absolutely beautiful though! The breads, pastries, the case with all the lovely cakes! Don't sleep on the cold case towards the left, they have so many delicious looking sandwiches and other "on the go" lunch options. We tried just about all the Biscoff items, cheesecake slice, Tiramisu cake slice, cheese tart and the tiramisu tart. Everything was good, not great, The Biscoff Cookie Butter Cruffin was an absolute flavor explosion for me! Hands down my favorite! Jess said she can't choose a favorite yet. We definitely wanna come back and try more from here, the cake slices were a one and done for us, especially the cheesecake. This isn't your Cheesecake Factory slice, it's definitely traditional and plain. Everything Tiramisu here doesn't taste like Tiramisu, so that's a pass for us going forward. The Biscoff Cookie Butter Donut was good, the filling was absolutely amazing! Had better donuts from mom and pop donut shops, but the flavor was great! The Caramel Macchiato was a great pallet cleanser in between pastries, so definitely grab yourself a coffee. Only quarrel we had was partly my fault, cause apparently our drink was called out but I swear I didn't hear our name get called, some guy who came after us happened to take our drink instead of his, then his order came up. After a few min we went up to see about our drink and the nice girl making the drinks said it was called out, but the other guys drink was sitting there instead. So keep an ear out for your name to get called and make sure your drink isn't getting swiped. Funny thing is, our drink looked nothing like his lol. Just goes to show you nobody is paying attention, they just take. Overall, would definitely and will definitely be coming back when we're in town. Yes it's a little pricey, but we did get 7 items and a drink for around $50 so "technically" not too bad, especially for a place like this. I wanted a little treat this morning so I went to Paris Baguette. I love this place. Everything is just so bright and clean and pretty when you walk in. I love how everything is on full display as soon as you walk in. Everything they sell looks so appetizing. Today I ordered a large caramel macchiato, a coffee, croissant doughnut, and a croissant, bacon egg and cheddar sandwich. I 100% love the coffee croissant donut. It is so flaky, so Krispy and light and airy in all the right places. As soon as you bite down, you feel the crunch and the layers , but then everything inside is just wonderfully soft and fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised by the cream filling which I didn't know was there, but totally made the donut. The breakfast sandwich was just the right size and amount of ingredients, the coffee was on point. If you're ever in the area, you should totally go in everything is so beautiful and I have not tried anything that I haven't felt 100% satisfied with. read more

THIS IS THE BEST PASTRY IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. The sticky milk bread!!! So delicious, the texture is SO soft and it has the perfect balance of sweetness. I asked for them to heat it up and they suggested that it tastes better as is, and it was. The staff were really nice and friendly they also suggested a drink from their new matcha line. I got the mango matcha! Very yummy and sweet! The place was clean and organized I'd say whole experience here was 10/10 loved every moment about it. Their rewards app has some good offers and the app is easy to use. I had the coffee croissant donut for my free welcome pastry, the texture was good but very rich and sweet. The mango coconut cake sounded interesting but it was hard to taste the fruit flavors and a little dry. I asked the staff and was told that the pastries/cakes come frozen from corporate. Drinks have been inconsistent throughout various visits. The iced coffees and lattes tend to have too much cream and sweetener. The first time I had the iced matcha it also had too much milk and not enough matcha flavor but the next time, the matcha was stronger and the drink tasted much better. My niece is in town for the Christmas holiday, so we met up at Paris Baguette for coffee and a sweet treat. I ordered an Americano with cream and she had a mocha -- both were delicious! We also shared two almond croissants, which were so yummy and fresh. We easily found a table and enjoyed a relaxing visit together. The pastry cases are filled with the most beautiful treats, and it's honestly hard to choose just one. The service was friendly and our table was clean, which I really appreciate. Walk in and grab a plate and tongs and choose whatever pastry you want, take it to the counter where you can also order a coffee/drink. I chose a chocolate covered round type croissant and a latte. Coffee is served in paper cups, but tasted good. The croissant treat was a little hard/crispy and not soft like an actual croissant. It was just ok. There were plenty of other treats to try so maybe something else would be better, but their prices are a little high for what we got. Very good place to study at! I usually grab a pastry and a coffee prior to my study session, followed by a box of goodies to go once I'm ready to head home. It is relatively chill during the day, especially on weekdays. However, it does get quite loud and busy during rush hour. I think those times are best for socializing in small groups, more so than for studying. There is free wifi and outlets at the booths. The baked goods are all in the glass compartment which I think is great to keep the bread fresh. There are baked goods alongside the left side and also in the center divide. You can also find some pre packaged loaves of bread on the display table. Here at Paris Baguette, they offer drinks such as Hot coffee, iced coffee, smoothies, cold brews, hot and cold tea. By the POS towards the back you will find some beautiful assortment of cakes. They also have a section call the Fresh Market area where you find bottled drinks, sandwiches, salads, and macarons. I got some fresh baked goods and my fav was the strawberry cream croissant and matcha mochi donut. I also got a chai iced tea which was very good! The establishment is beautiful and seats can be limited. There are some seatings outside but not very many. The bakery was clean and tidy. Overall, great experience! Croissant Donuts, which, correct me if I'm wrong, they have spelled incorrectly here?! (Their official posted signage has Croisant Donut, but their website and mobile order has croissant.) A flaky croissant donut filled w/custard & topped w/lemon icing. Raspberry Croissant. Filled w/almond cream & raspberry preserves, topped w/toasted almonds, raspberries, & powdered sugar. I'm so happy this Paris Baguette is in Fresno ! I visited one in Sunnyvale but I honestly feel like the Fresno location is so much better ! This is a serve yourself bakery, they leave trays and liners and you just go through and pick your own. It's inexpensive and delicious. I also got a sweet vanilla cream cold brew and it was just ok, will have to try the lattes next time and actually sit and eat there. If you download the app you get a free pastry with purchase. We got a few different ones to try and overall they were all very good. However, the berry and cream danish I had wasn't filled very much so it was very light. The regular croissant was very soft and flaky and so good warmed up. I'll definitely be back again soon. The staff was very friendly and were working as fast as they could and there was a long line when we got there and as we were leaving, it was already out the door. They have liners, trays and tong in the front to the left. You simply go around and pick the pastries you want. Then to the right there's a line to pay. Limited seating since they are so busy they have about 2 table outdoors. They offer sweets and savory dessert, cold sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches tarts, donuts, slices or a whole cake, salads, wraps, hot/iced coffee and iced teas. You can also ask them to toast/warm up your pastries at the front when you check out. Our order: Pizzetta with Raspberry & Nutella, Pepperoni Pizzetta, Ham & Cheese Pastry, Hash Brown Bread, Cherry & Greek Yogurt Danish Matcha Mochi Donut. This is my first time at any Paris baguette location. I had high expectations due to all the hype about them coming to Fresno. When I walked in, it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it is nicely decorated and clean. Half of the space is seating and the other half are the pastry cases. Next thing I noticed were the prices. The pastries looked good, but everything was SO overpriced. I mean, a croissant donut was $7+... Based on other reviews, they decided to up charge at this particular location. Items I tried: - nutella croissant donut -- tasty and the little chocolate balls on top added a nice textural difference, otherwise not particularly special - hash brown bread -- disappointing and bland. There's a hash brown patty inside bread with ham and cheese. All the flavor comes from the ham. The hash brown was just kind of mushy. Not something I would recommend Service was not great. They threw my $7+ donut in a bag without any care and let the Nutella on top get stuck all over the sides of the bag. It should have gone into a box. I would think twice about buying any item with any kind of frosting/icing/glaze/etc that's not completely set. Overall a pretty disappointing experience. Visit a local bakery instead. read more

I would rate this place a 7/10 in terms of flavor/taste and food quality. I got the crab pastry, ham and cheese croissant, coffee cronut, matcha mochi donut, and fruit crossaint. My favorite pastry was the crab pastry and coffee cronut. The crab pastry was crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The crab stuffing was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. I could taste the crab flavor which I personally like. The only con was that it was cold. It took away from the overall taste IMO. I wish the savory items were kept warm or reheated for us after purchase. They were pretty much cold. The coffee cronut was delicious; it was definitely on the sweeter but that's what I like! The coffee flavor was also present. My least favorite was the matcha mochi donut because I wasn't expecting it to taste like actual matcha. Depending if you really like the matcha flavor, you will or will not like this donut. I like a sweetened matcha but this taste like straight up ceremonial grade matcha with no added so sugar, so slightly on the bitter, earthy side. The fruit croissant was delicious but I feel like you can't mess these custard type pastries. I also got an iced caramal macc and it exceeded my expectations. It was slightly sweet, slightly bitter which is how I like my coffee. You could definitely taste the coffee. Overall, the flavors were good and the customer service was exceptional!! We were greeted right when we entered the door. The experience was also easy, pick up a tray and personal tongs and pick out your pastries then pay for them at the register. Pairs Baguette gives me the vibe of a bakery/eats you would find in a nice hotel in Vegas (I'm thinking that's one of the reasons why I like it so much) just has that feel & ambiance. Along, of course with their pastries & food, it's all been very good! Today I tried the egg & cheese quiche, with an iced Chia Latte, good stuff. The Chai Latte is creamy & smooth, a little thicker texture which I really enjoyed. There's everything from awesome pastries, to some "healthyish" sandwiches, wraps & salads. There's also things like grilled cheese, quiche, sausage croissants, ham & cheese croissants & so. Nice little variations. Also, there's quite a few coffee & tea selections, along with some specialty drinks aswell! Definitely a great addition to the Villaggo Shopping Center, River Park (honestl, something like this was needed) & will be a permanent go to for me! Came in at about 5:30pm on a Sunday to have some pastries and a couple drinks with my lil family. We love 85degree bakery so I assumed this would be similar. They didn't have too much of a selection with the self serve pastries but I'm sure they have a better selection earlier in the day. Ask for your pastries to be warmed if consuming soon or right out of the cafe, they didn't offer so we had to ask. We choose a couple pastries which included an almond croissant (3/5 - I was expecting an almond filling but it was still yummy and flaky when heated), a blueberry cream cheese danish (4/5), a curry croquette (2/5) - not necessarily something I would reach for), a ham and cheese croissant (6/5 - this was yummy, the cheese was my fav part), and added a slice of blueberry yogurt cake at the counter(6/5 - not too sweet and the strawberry layers added freshness to an already light and moist cake). Hubby enjoyed his mango lemonade refresher 5/5 - pretty sweet) I ordered an iced matcha 4/5 - matcha is pre sweetened and reminds me of the old matcha Starbucks had, I did appreciate the thoroughly mixed matcha and the creaminess and not being watered down). They were pretty busy. We sat and enjoyed our pastries and I noticed they stayed pretty consistently busy. Tables were dirty but the condiment table was stocked so we used napkins to wipe down our table. We enjoyed the items we tried today. We will be back hopefully in the morning for a better selection of pastries and for coffee when I can have some after Easter. lol read more

Im very familiar with this bakery chain, so imagine my excitement now having one so close to home! If you needed a new quick go to bakery, this is the place for you! With a self serve concept, you are able to fully browse and take your time deciding which amazing pastry you'd like to try! They also do have an array of sandwiches and salads that you can pick from. If you'd like any of the items warmed up they are happy to help with that at checkout. The decor is modern with a hint of Parisian touches through out the establishment. There are some bistro chairs outside, and seating inside. It is a bit smaller than it appears to be. I think adding more outdoor seating could help. As for what I ordered: - strawberry soft cream cake slice 9/10. This is not a super sweet cake so keep that in mind. However that's exactly what I love about it. Berries and cream are so fresh. only complaint is that the back of the cake was a bit dry so make sure to save some cream for that part lol. Other than that this cake is impeccable. - Mr & Mrs bear 10/10 just grab them and try them, thank me later. - mochi matcha donut 10/10 ( all their mochi donuts are tasty) - sticky milk buns 9/10 my god these are going to haunt me. Perfect balance of sweat bread. The bread is so fluffy and bouncy. - chicken salad sandwich 10/10. The price is up there but the portion is generous and that freshly made bread was delightful.
