Having been a head neck and throat cancer recovery patient myself, I suffer from lymphatic drainage issues, inflammation, ear tinnitus, TMJ tightness, major scar tissue on side of my neck where my lymph node is all from surgery, chemo and radiation. This review is actually very long overdue. Things started off well in the very beginning, I had a…read morecase manager that would show up each week until I finally got a counselor. I worked with the counselor for a while and it was ok but I feel like it was a waste of time. She would constantly tell me next week we'll do an exercise but we would never do an exercise. She would email me worksheets and we'd never go over them so I just stopped reading those emails. Eventually she was leaving community solutions and I was told I would get a new counselor. My case manager kept reaching out saying we will meet during this time before the new therapist starts but then she kept canceling on me each week or she wouldn't show up. I ended up not responding to her text messages anymore because I was annoyed and it was pointless. I never did get a new counselor either even though I was told one was already scheduled for me. Services just ended on their own, I didn't feel like the quality of care was there for me to try reaching out again.

Terrible place. The staff is extremely abusive and plays favorites. The majority of them seem to…read moreget off on having "power" over other people and love to micromanage and harass people to the point of bullying. There was a lovely lady named Sam who was the activities coordinator who loved the residents and her job but unfortunately left a few months ago. After she left the responsibilities fell on the rest of the staff and they have been, for the most part, performing poorly. The staff includes 7 overweight Hispanic women with bad, jealous attitudes, 1 small Hispanic woman who lash out at you for no reason, 2 extremely disrespectful, bullying administrators who play favorites and literally yell at residents, and cleaning staff that curses and insults you in Spanish thinking you don't understand. They treat male residents a lot better than they treat female residents, due to their insecurities about being unattractive and overweight. The cleaning staff acts the same way, and they will curse you and call you names in Spanish thinking that you can't understand them. Most of them have very poor, hard to understand English, and they will get angry at you for not understanding the gibberish they say. No offense but literally all of the staff barring 2 white males are Hispanic, which is not a problem but is pretty suspicious...they seem to all know each other from before. One of the therapists is the daughter of the one of the workers, and another worker lives down the road. This seems to be a family run establishment where the staff never gets disciplined due to them all being in this together. That explains why the staff is incredibly rude and treats you however they want - they know that there are no consequences because even the administration treats clients like crap. Any grievance forms against the staff are given to them, and immediately thrown away because the administrators treat residents just as badly as the workers. Once one of my fellow residents complained about being sexually harassed and they told her it was because she was attractive and wore revealing clothes. They will not take any complaint seriously and instead you will be punished for it. The program here would be good if it weren't for the hostile, favorite-playing staff. In other words, if you are male, unattractive, and old, you will receive the best treatment here. If you are a young attractive woman you will be treated with hatred and jealousy by the female staff and sexually harassed by the male administrators. They need to hire more male workers and less hateful insecure overweight women. I mean come on, literally 7 of the staff are extremely overweight Hispanic women...this place is hell if you are fit, beautiful, and female. Which is what it was for me. I'm glad I left this place a while ago, I'm going to try my best to forget the abuse and disrespect I got while I was there. Good luck to the residents who are still suffering there, I hope ya'll escape soon. I am appalled that I had to pay for this place. They don't deserve a penny of my insurances money. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS if you are an attractive young woman!
