Excited to see what kind of fun things I can find. I appreciate how big this location is. All sorts of things you can find here. I did find a couple pieces that caught my eye. I hesitated on a few things cause of the prices they are charging. Just like the other Idaho Youth Ranches in town, you just shake your head at the prices things are priced at. When you're asking for 50 dollars for a vintage item that was donated to you, that screams nothing but greed to me. So much profit to be made off this item. Not one penny was spent to purchase the item to sell at your store but you feel that you're entitled to charge that much. Very sad. The staff was nice. The store was pretty organized. But, I'm just still in awwww at some of the things IYR has priced. The prices have really taken the fun out of finding gems. I would rather other thrift stores that don't price gauge their customers. Now I know why I haven't been here for so long.

She said people steal so she stays right next to the item even when the customers would like some privacy to examine and discuss the item. Ridiculous. My husband and I are over 60 years old and couldn't run that fast even if we were thieves. It was a horribly uncomfortable shopping experience. Prices are crazy high too!

This place also has a fair selection of clothes and two dressing rooms to use if you wish to try a few things on. The clothes I picked out were in good condition. Another strong-suit of this store is the furniture. There are some pretty unique and retro-cool options to choose from. Make sure to measure your space you want to fill before coming here. I overheard a not so friendly interaction between a patron and the lady at the counter about holding items. Just bypass that question and go straight to the buying. When I am back in this area, I will be back to eye the cool furniture or maybe find a prom gown that I don't have anywhere to wear.

I love seeing made in US brands like Dehen, Filson, Eddie Bauer and Woolrich, and varsity sweaters from the 60's. The labels on these sweaters are cool to look at and I often go down a rabbit hole researching the history of the now closed mills in small towns that made these sweaters. I live in Seattle and back in the 00's, vintage shopping was like this. Now it's an over saturation of anything 90's from Sears and off brand names like Arrow at astronomical prices for sub par quality. The boutiques that do sell quality vintage like Lucky's often seem pretty picked over. The clothing didn't have the goodwill mothball smell nor a basement attic smell and they seemed really well taken care of. I like that the shop is not on the main strip and I just saw locals.
