Discovered this little gem after moving to the area looking for a place to donate my items. The store is well organized and clean. There are plenty of aproachable employees working the floor. Prices are fair definitely more affordable than Goodwill. They also give you a 20% off coupon if you donate. I also received a $3 off $10 for joining the Savers rewards program. I love that there is a savers closer to me! Before this location opened up, the closest savers were a half an hr away farther into Suffolk. I always leave with a few things from here and I love it. I had a wonderful experience here and wanted to recognize a few outstanding employees. Jason, who handles donations and helps test electronic items, is truly exceptional. He is always friendly, extremely polite, and goes out of his way to be helpful. His interpersonal skills really stand out and make every interaction pleasant and easy. Michael, front end manager, is also fantastic--welcoming, efficient, and always ready to assist with a positive attitude. Arlene, Fran, everyone!!! The store is kept very clean, very well organized, and very upbeat. Overall, the entire team is incredibly helpful and kind. The store always has excellent items for sale, including beautiful fabric, unique odds and ends, and some really exciting clothing finds. Nothings labeled properly. You can't try clothing on and they don't allow you to use the restrooms. Walked out. No point

Way overpriced as you can see by this product. It retails for 1.25 at the store, they are charging 2.49... But of course it's all donations so they get it for FREE. It's the cleanest savers since it's the NEWEST Also the staff is really great at this location so I'm giving it two stars , it would be a 1 without them. Either way they charge way too much. 25 dollars for a dented box of Legos. 25 for a small bag of Legos. Is this a thrift store or a collectibles reseller? Overall disappointed. read more

Used stained and often times damaged prices that cost more than Walmart. These are donated items at retail prices which is absurd. You want smell clothes that have stains or holes and chipped and scratched used garbage donated come here ! read more

Started off as the best one around and slowly dwindled down. They have began to let people stand and wait for items to leave the distribution area and fight over it like animals. There's one guy with a mask that stands there all day long and snatches items right off the cart as the employees are pushing it out of the doorway. I have never in my life seen two grown individuals fight over a piece of glass until I went to this place. Savers needs to put an end to this it's disgusting. read more

The prices are good on home related items. The staff aren't overly friendly and if you need help, sometimes it seems like an inconvenience to them. There are a few very good staff members so I don't want to label the whole staff there though. The store is well stocked and well organized. read more

Well I finally went to check out "SAVERS" first off prices suck and in many cases are actually at or above full retail for used stuff. Second they don't seem to have any open cash registers. Only employment deprival devices. There are local kids who need jobs. How about hire them and get rid of the employment deprival devices. And the whole place smells like a dusty old attic. The new store is very clean, organized & has a nice selection of merchandise. Better than some of the other Savers on the Island. (We'll see how long that lasts.) That's the pros. Now for cons - the pricing seems to have followed in to this new location. Books, VHS Tapes, clothing, toys, art, etc. are overpriced. I have been going to different Savers for years. I could Reme a time when VHS tapes used to be .99¢, DVDS used to be $1.99, kids books used to be $1.29 no matter how big or small. Artwork used to be $5-$10. Now VHS tapes are $1.49-$3.49, DVDS are now $2.99 - $5.99 depending on which title. And kids books that are torn and ripped up now range from $1.49-$4.99. I will go down the street to the library and get books for .50¢-$1.00. DVDs for $1. Clothing is stained ripped and comparable to regular retail stores. Bric-a-brac section is plentiful but prices are a little high for a thrift store. Another thing I will say is that the parking lot is small! I'm not sure how it's going to do during senior Tuesdays as every Savers on the island during senior Tuesdays is packed! The resellers are getting a little much too. I partly blame them for prices being so high - the employees have caught on and are now pricing items that reflect eBay prices. Not everyone going in is a reseller. Some of us are collectors, some of us are a little tight on money at the moment. 3 stars. Wish I could give it more.
