As someone who has volunteered there for over 15 years, I can attest that there are 3 separate large areas for different populations of cats (adoptable/sanctuary cats, Feline Leukemia cats, Special Needs/less than social cats) and each area typically houses between 20 and 30 felines. There are multiple rooms with screened in porches for the cats to enjoy, benches for visitors to sit on, and the only time I've seen the cats "swarm" is at the end of the day when cleaning is finished and they're expecting their treats. The post in question also claims that there is an online schedule of hours indicating that the shelter is only open to the public one day a week for 2 hours. I haven't been able to find that; instead hours are listed on Facebook as shown in the image I'm including. PAWSitively CATS is run by just a few staff members (some part time) and a few dozen dedicated volunteers. The cats are well cared for and happy.

I do like them when they have a proper home and people who care about them. I went here with a friend of mine who lost his cat and wants to get another one. I was not expecting such a beautiful clean space with wonderful people taking care of these cats. It is so clean and the cats are so well cared for. I had been pre-approved on-line, so the check out was easy and fast. They even gave me a really nice carrier to take my new kitty home in.
