Fun fact UNICEF was originally created in 1946 to provide emergency food and healthcare to children after World War II and today it operates in over 190 countries. So many beautiful pieces and honestly the prices are great for what you're getting. It all supports a meaningful cause and the service was genuinely kind and helpful. I loved the woven baskets made from telecommunications wires from South Africa super unique and detailed. Also the incense cacao bars and singing bowls are so good I could have spent way too long browsing. There are pieces from all over the world and it really feels like a global collection rather than a typical shop. I have adopted numerous animals and always kept them all. We realized because the animals were not getting along, it would be best to return the dog so that she could get the family she deserved. The owner was extremely rude and angry. Seven months after I had written them a check, she cashed it. When I emailed her questioning why she waited, she belittled me and told me I broke the contract. She told me my dogs were the issue and proceeded to pick a fight. In the end I told her to keep her $$. Do not adopt little pets from this angry person. I hope she treats the pets better than she treats people. I have never encountered someone so angry and rude. She is extremely triggered and these little rescues deserve better.

Although it was beyond hours, Susan greeted us, answered questions, and, in reality, comforted both of us. She also offered any help she could give to our situation. She and a volunteer came on a Sunday and collected our surplus and our cat, taking time from her weekend to let us say goodbye, assuring his care, and thanking us for the privilege of being able to help.
