We were not told about the sibling so therefore we were denied she told us we were denied because they wanted to be adopted as siblings, but yet we were not called and offered that so they went ahead and let someone else adopt the cat that we had applied for and instead of them calling and asking, they just said screw us is just bull crap honestly it takes two seconds to call someone and ask if they would be willing to adopt sibling cats But instead they chose to just give it to someone else so the cat my daughter fell in love with, unfortunately, she didn't get a chance get because they pick and choose who gets to adopt the cats

We were shocked novody else was interested in this sweet boy and his foster eas very kind and informative to help us make sure he was a good fit for our home. They were also very patient with us running around to grab supplies. While the adoption fee is a bit higher than some rescues there is a tax break and it's nice that majority if the shots were paid and planned along with the neutering. Andy came home healthy with us and immediately took to his big sister who he loves so much. I have adopted numerous animals and always kept them all. We realized because the animals were not getting along, it would be best to return the dog so that she could get the family she deserved. The owner was extremely rude and angry. Seven months after I had written them a check, she cashed it. When I emailed her questioning why she waited, she belittled me and told me I broke the contract. She told me my dogs were the issue and proceeded to pick a fight. In the end I told her to keep her $$. Do not adopt little pets from this angry person. I hope she treats the pets better than she treats people. I have never encountered someone so angry and rude. She is extremely triggered and these little rescues deserve better.

I called a couple other shelters/rescues prior to contacting this company. They were not friendly…read moreand seemed like I was an inconvenience asking questions. So I saw a dog on the animal league of green valley website and called to communicate about it. They were very nice on the phone and their recommendation was to come during their open hours. Which I did. Gregory was the volunteer that worked with me to meet lots of dogs. He was nice and professional. They treat the dogs well and it looks good from that perspective. Yes they ask a lot of questions but I don't see that as a problem. They want the dogs to go to proper owners, when a dog goes to a good home they are less likely to return. Wow they don't want the dog to be off leash... cause we have coyotes that will eat that dog. Hello. And I train my dogs very well and never let them off leash. They spay/neuter, give shots and start to try to train them. The welcome bag was some food, toys, a blanket, leash, and collar. Amazing experience, when I am ready for another( hopefully not a long time) id go there again. And I live in Tucson, worth the drive.

She was very helpful over the course of a few hours, showing us multiple dogs until we found our new forever dog, William (Tick)! We had visited the humane society a day before, and it was just a totally different environment, and I am very happy that we were able to find the Valley Humane Society instead. This is a place where you can tell every volunteer working loves what they do, and that's helping animals back to health and then off to their forever homes! I traveled over an hour and thirty minutes to visit, and I will happily do it again when the time is right!
