Not only did the restaurant get a makeover, but so did the menu. The food was okay! I would argue it's about the same quality as what the old kitchen was serving but the menu is completely different. My breakfast sandwich was comically large. The pancakes -- heavy emphasis on "cakes" -- were so sweet. The hollandaise on the Benedict and the potatoes were seasoned well. (They "ran out" of ketchup so that was a bummer.) Everything was good but not necessarily something to write home about. The environment is the star of the show! Well decorated, great seating, and beautiful views. I hadn't been to the Ridge Cafe since before Covid, so it was fun coming back to see and taste the changes of ROR. For the views alone, give Royal On Ridge a try.

We went here for a book club brunch and were well taken care of by our server. We had a reservation and they had our table all ready and seated us immediately. The food wasn't my favorite. Which is why the three stars. The mini donuts tasted mostly like grease -- between a table of we didn't even finish them. The breakfast croissant sandwich was huge, but the bacon wasn't at all cooked and all four of us that ordered it sent our bacon back to the kitchen to be cooked more. The potatoes looked amazing, but I didn't think they were that great. Everyone said their food was fine, but no raving reviews. The best thing ordered by our table was the Goat Cheese appetizer. This was yummy! Highly recommend. Overall, won't be making the drive for this place again.

He was easy to reach, very easy to work with, and made the whole process stress-free as we planned our trip. Not only was each course delicious, it was beautifully presented and paired with a wonderful explanation of the ingredients and preparation techniques. Chef Noah arrived right on schedule, was very professional, left the kitchen spotless when he left, and made us all feel very special. All of our family said the meal was one of the highlights of a truly magical vacation. Additionally, we pre-ordered and had Chef Noah prepare two large pots of soup for us to enjoy the following days after skiing. They too were absolutely delicious. The greatest endorsement I can give is that our 2-year-old granddaughter who never eats carrots or chicken devoured a whole bowl of Chef Noah's chicken noodle soup! The beef stew was equally as tremendous. Thanks Chef Noah for making a family memory that will last a lifetime!

So as my guests turned a corner on what they thought was a normal three mile loop they came upon pallets set up with flowers, pillows and a Asian inspired spread with such delights as spring rolls, salads and BonMi sandwiches. The work and determination he showed to make it happen was next level. And then that night he served up steak and shrimp for an elegant dinner back at the Private Home. Responsive, creative and a pure pleasure to work with. He makes it happen with a smile!

They have fallen into the trap of "let's offer a variety of things to appeal to everyone" which naturally turns into, not doing anything well because the kitchen staff is trying to do too many things. They have everything from nachos, Enchiladas, fish & chips, steaks, pasta, flatbread, fish, salads and a mish-mash of appetizers. I ordered the "blackened salmon". It was. It blackened but lightly seasoned and pan fried and literally downing in butter. The mashed potato it came with were not creamed potatoes but had so much butter, that much can't be eaten as all the butter in the dish is so overwhelming. Other At my table got prime rib and pastas. They don't really say much about them after they got them, which isn't a great sign. The ambiance was probably nice at one point, but the place really needs a remodel. My advice is to narrow down the menu so the kitchen can focus on doing a fixed number of items really well. Then maybe have a rotating weekly or monthly special if you want to keep the menu fresh. Too many things means nothing is done well. If they update the menu in this way I would try them again, otherwise I have no reason to return based on this experience.

When we arrived, there were quite a few people waiting to be seated, but once the staff got caught up, we were quickly shown to a great table in the bar area. At first, we were a little concerned because there appeared to be only one server covering the entire section. However, our worries disappeared almost immediately. She did a fantastic job keeping up with everyone, providing friendly, prompt, and efficient service despite being incredibly busy. Kudos to her for holding down that whole section so well. I ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad, and it was excellent. What stood out most was the chicken--it was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. I've had plenty of grilled chicken salads at other restaurants where the chicken ends up dry and overcooked, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was easily the highlight of the salad. We also shared an order of pretzel knots with the dipping sauces, and those were delicious as well. Throughout the meal, our server kept our soft drinks and water glasses topped off, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere to watch the match with my friend. To top it all off, Team USA got the win, making for an even better evening. We'll definitely be back!

We came here all the time up until now and honestly it really sucks that we won't be back anymore. I know our one loss isn't going to shut down the business, but it's disappointing losing a place we actually enjoyed because of how disrespectful and uncomfortable the experience was. But that being said, if you enjoy being sexually harassed while trying to eat dinner, this is the place to be.
