I love this place! My mom first took me here before my wedding to purchase some hard-to-find spices. I recently came here for a promotion and was amazed at all the delicious looking options. I opted for trying the Jamaican jerk seasoning, cheese powder and garlic-onion table seasonin. I will update my review in the future after trying these delicious spices. I would highly recommend checking this shop out for yourself or for Christmas gifts for friends and family! The workers were also extremely friendly and helpful. Thry even have curbside pickup! I will definitely be back!

I love a good tea. What the picture can't display is the aroma AND the taste. It is flavorful (I added a touch of sugar) as well as a beautiful color. There is detail on how to fix ie 1 Tbsp per 8 oz boiling water steep for 5 minutes and ENJOY!

The moment I walk inside I get the urge to cook a 5 course meal using only spices from the SSS. The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable. There is room for parking right outside the entrance. They offer various sizes for their spices. If they do not have a size or jar you are looking for, they will put one together for you. You can sample the spices, and sniff them. My kiddos enjoy going inside and checking things out. For those who are in love with the everything bagel seasoning, they have it here. They offer a rewards program and a military discount. If it's time to upgrade or stock up your spices, head here. They are worth the money! It is money well spent!

Savory Spice and everything nice! First of all, the aroma when you get to the door is intoxicating! The friendly and knowledgeable staff opened up a new world for me. They have a large selection of sweet and savory spices. And if you are looking for some unique flavors, this is the place. Who knew I needed Chocolate Peppermint Sugar! This will be my go to place for spices. It should be yours too!

This place has a ton of organic spices, herbs, and other baling and cooking needs. You can get a large jar of raw honey for a lot cheaper than you can at sprouts or other stores. My daughter is allergic to nightshades and I needed to find a seasoning mix without any peppers.. they were very helpful each time I have been there and helped me find something that works. I have been pleased every time. Some of my favorites are the Herbes de Provence seasoning salt, Tarragon Shallot Citrus seasoning, and Capital Hill seasoning. The Fine Alderwood Smoked sea salt is pretty bomb too.

Massaman Curry dinner spice kit .... unbelievably delicious! I can't believe I made this!!

I didn't know how much I needed Savory Spice Shop in my life!! I love to cook, bake, grill and....eat! I feel like I do a decent job at all of those things. This shop has everything you know, and don't know, you need to prepare amazing dishes at home. I love a good curry dish and for $5 I now have a perfectly measured spice kit to make massaman curry at home. I don't need to go to the international food store to pick up 3-5 different jars of spices. It's all ready for me at Savory Spice Shop. I showed up 10 minutes to close and I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted to so I'll absolutely be coming back. I thought of several friends and loved ones that would be delighted to receive a packaged gift (they have many to choose from!) so not only is this shop great for YOU to prepare delicious dishes at home, you can inspire those you care about to get cooking at home, too. Also - the store smells amazing. Literally like a glorious spice heaven.

I always feel like a beloved neighbor or a best friend or possibly a celebrity when I visit SSS!! The staff is excessively friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic about spices and cooking in general. I love that I can just mention what I'm craving to cook and they have lots of fun flavor suggestions, and they are so quick to share their own favorites plus website ideas and recipes! Please remember to sign up for customer rewards as well as for your birthday treats. It's such a steal, and the spices are such great quality. LONG LIVE PERUVIAN CHILI LIME!!!

Cutest spice shop on Western Ave! Every year, celebrating their birthday, they have a pie contest! The judges judge the pies, but the general public get to come in and taste all of the pies for free! There are three categories: sweet, savory, and youth entries. Some of the savory pies were my favorites including the BBQ pulled pork shepherds pie! My favorite pie of the day was the salted caramel apple pie! This place is great for all of your spice needs, check them out!

So many options!! Go try them!

This little spice shop is not just that. It's a passport to visit multiple countries and share in so many cultures right in the middle of OKC. You walk in and immediately.... your nose perks up. And your eyes widen. Your senses tell you, this is the place to be. It smells like the staircase leading to heaven. And really. What more do you need. Sure I can go on and tell you all the spices they have. And they have more than you could think of right now. Sure. I could. But then you'd be spending precious time reading this when you could be going and experiencing this little treasure. So. Go on! Go smell and taste!

Boom. No more TSA people freaking out because my luggage smells like a spicebomb when I leave San Francisco. No more obligatory spice missions while on vacation just to ensure my stock of Hungarian paprika doesn't dwindle too low. Thanks, Savory Spice Shop! I checked it out the other day while looking for any decent excuse to put the top down and cruise around the sunny city. You sort of waft in, like a cartoon cat smelling something irresistible, and are promptly greeted. I soon understood why it smelled so spicetacular- you're encouraged to put a little bit of any spice you'd like to try into your palm for an real sniff (a great idea for so many reasons, not the least of which is to keep noses out of jars). When you're finished sniffing, toss the spice on the ground, or if it's a salt, might I suggest over the shoulder. Western Ave is a perfect spot for this shop, a stone's throw from the fine foodstuffs corridor that is Western Ave from Forward to Whole; close enough to the growing Gourmet Ghetto along 23rd and the specialty grocers of our Asian district. Whoever scouted this location did a great job, and way to go on a beautiful new building here. And while Savory Spice is technically a franchise with shops in ten states or so, I met the owner, a nice gentleman originally from the Enid area (I believe). Locally-owned high quality franchises, especially where it fills a void for us home cooking dabblers, I wholeheartedly welcome! In that sense, it reminds me a lot of Big Sky Bread, another locally-owned franchise. Just as Big Sky addressed the growing demand for artisan breads, I imagine Savory will be a regular and welcome errand for many of us.

    Unbeatable spices!

Some of the items you can find for cheaper in other stores. But I guess you pay for the variety of items they have at a higher price. I feel like when they have stuff on sale that's the best time to buy. The employees are always really nice and helpful. I like that they have self checkouts here, so I can do it myself and get out quicker. When you're on reusable shopping bags, because they have bags, you can buy there and no other options. The store is very clean and they have a bulk section where you fill a bag with how much product you want. Don't forget to write down the item number, so when you go to the front, you can check out.
