Everything (well, almost everything) about Lolli & Pops makes me happy. The insane selection of sweet food stuffs that you didn't even know you wanted is impressive. When I can get chocolates that I have to go to other countries to enjoy (e.g. Canada, Australia, India) or have to beg relatives to bring with them when they visit, that's a kind of fantastic that can't be beat. On a sort of related note, I feel sad for people who not only eat, but enjoy Hershey's chocolate. That is some seriously low quality stuff and you'll only realize how low quality it is after you've had some real chocolate magic from places like Lolli & Pops. I suppose there's one thing that doesn't make me happy. $10.99/lb is steep. Other examples of exorbitant pricing: truffles at nearly $3.00. A piece. One piece. One, single, individual, solitary, separate, lonely piece. Or 6 for $16.00 or something. Or one bar of chocolate for $8.00. But a specialty candy shop like this can do whatever it wants because the competition is fairly nonexistent. Also, I'm sure mall real estate is not cheap so they have to make their money back somewhere and who better to price gouge than the yuppie mall moms and their sugar deprived tots? Granted, the truffles look amazeballs and they're bigger than what one would expect when one thinks of truffles, but you'll have to try it yourself and tell me how it is because I can't justify that purchase even when I'm feelin' like a baller (which is... rare). Everything in my life lately is calculated by the cost of purchasing the namesake from Whiskey Cake, and three truffles =/= one Whiskey Cake. Not in my book. I will never take my child here. However, I will bring the child of a family member or friend here. Then I'll cut 'em loose, let them gorge themselves, and then give them back to their parents. Maybe finish it off by laughing like an evil villain. read more

The cutest candy shop in town! It's like walking into a candy shop from an old movie. Definitely has the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory feel to it. Dark and woody inside with wall high barrels and bins of nostalgic candies. I felt like a kid again! Pros: *Awesome selection of gummy bears (soft, gummy, and delicious, not stale or hard) (MUST try the white strawberry flavor!!) *Very Friendly staff *Looked pretty clean *Extremely cute atmosphere Cons: *They didn't have Cry Baby Tears! Or SweetTarts. (A couple of my faves that I wanted to add to my mix) *The dark chocolate selection was limited *Seems a bit pricey, $9.99/lb, but I have seen some other candy stores with similar pricing. Overall, I like! Go visit! Supposedly you can get a year long subscription of candy from here. You pay a fee, I heard through the grapevine that it's a $365 fee and you can fill up a jar of candy once a week all year long. I only come here for the mexican candy. I am also a big fan of sour gummy candy and they have a huge section in the back for all that stuff, so good. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate but they have a plethora of that stuff too, mostly towards the middle. The store is pretty tiny so it could get a bit crowded on weekends. They seem to have more of the "rare" candies that are hard to find, like the yard length toblerones and "duffy beer" but its an energy drink. Cool place for treats. read more

Although I do not get to go here as often as I wouls like, the amount of options they have is marvelous! They have a huge collection of candies from all over the WORLD! That's right the WORLD! You will be able to find chocolates from London, gummies from Sweden and much much more. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Samantha. She was super helpful and made sure I got exactly what I needed. This candy/chocolate store was amazing!! American, Turkish, Greek, British, German, and many many more varieties and types of candy and chocolate to satisfy anyone. I'm half British so the British sweets, chocolate flake, crisp bar, Quality high street, chocolate buttons, Cadbury orange chocolate apples, THEY HAVE THEM ALL! PLUS you can purchase a container for a set price, and refill it for free, once a week, for an entire year!! Oh my Oh myyyyy! The lady behind the counter was so very friendly and of course gave us samples for free. I guess it's like that with a lot of consumer goods, give some to you for free and watch you come running back for more while you throw money at them!! The dark chocolates were fabulous!! Yes told her I wanted one of everything and i wanted to move into the store! A fabulous selection to fit every budget, stuff for .5 up to hundreds of dollars! You've got to go see this place! They had a great selection of gummy bear flavors which is what I was there for mainly. And it seems like they have just about anything else you could be looking for related to candy. My main issue is going to be the high risk of contamination with so much traffic from the mall (mostly kids). I highly doubt there's much you can do about that, even when the shop is not in a mall, but I just couldn't stop thinking about how many hands have dipped into the candy bins when no one was looking. read more

Didn't realize til the day after they charged me differently than what was printed on the candy, for several different pieces (small differences, but I'm sure they add up). Also, my rip roll was nearly inedible, couldn't find an expiration date on it either. It was in a jar on a top shelf, should've known better since it was so dusty. read more

We weren't even going up to the second floor for candy! But because they were sampling watermelon flavored gummy bears, and because they were amazing, we did a 180 right into the shop. Not only did we purchase a pound of gummy bears but this place sells Smarties! Lolli and Pops is the most whimsical and magical candy store out there. First of all, it is a gorgeous store! There is something for everyone from hard-to-find vintage candies to foreign specialties. One of my favorite things about Lolli is that they hand-make fresh cotton candy and CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES in the store!!! So yummy! The staff is so friendly and educated on the many different types of candies- they will even give a tour to first time guests through the three different rooms (chocolate, Wonka, and gummy room). They always have a smile on their face! Everytime I walk in they are ready to point me in the directions of my favorites and invite me to try something new!! The first things you see when you walk in are the giant golden gummy bear in the back of the store and the adorable "Harry Potter" style apothacary table that is always overflowing with goodies! Something special and unique about Lolli and Pops is that they will do custom candy buffets for your event may it be weddings, birthdays, business functions, you name it! I highly recommend this gem of a candy store! I just enjoy the whole experience of an "old British" style candy store with great swingin' music!
