We had the pleasure of chatting with Nancy who could not have been kinder and happily answered all of our questions. These guys are great. The facility is over-the-top! Huge pump park, skills course with graduated obstacles, and single track to put it all into practice. The lodge (about 2 easy hours drive from Ketchum) is new and "backcountry" at it's best - all off the grid, spacious living areas and bedrooms. They'll do all your cooking and all you have to do is sleep eat and ride! If you prefer, bring your tent and do the whole thing low-key. They are out to teach you how to ride.

After returning from my trip this year, I sent an email to Steve Zettel, owner of the company, wanting to discuss what I considered unsafe operations which occurred during my week long trip. His reply to my email stated I did not "conform to the Idaho Wilderness Company way" and I was not welcome to float the river with their company again. I sent another email asking exactly what I had done or not done. After 60 days, I have not received a reply. I personally was responsible for 7 others people coming on this trip. Two years ago I brought 12 members of my family on the trip. I express concern one time and I am told I am not welcome. You couldn't pay me to float the river with Idaho Wilderness Company.
