Delicious food, and a great vibe. Loved the outdoor seating area where I could watch my kid play while we enjoyed our meals. Loved that it was fenced in on the turf and another plus is they have a lot of parking. However, Waitresses could use some improvements as they kept walking over the kids that were playing on the ground and some were not so pleasant.

Our first time visiting Sawyer Park ice house was for a designer purse, bingo event. Large open space with plenty of tables. On the night, we were there. They served various appetizers and small entrées. We enjoyed the fried dill pickles and a lemon pepper wings. Great variety of cocktails with the most popular being the prickly pear Margarita. They host lots of events and have daily specials. The vibe is quite loud and festive, but it is an icehouse so you wouldn't expect anything different. Plenty of parking.

I'm just comparing this to Kirby's Ice House as it is the only other ice house I've been to in the woodlands. In my opinion it was superior: -Prices were half of what Kirby charged. -Parking lot was twice as big -Staff was 10 times as friendly -Food was 1000 better. Why? Because they actually have food unlike Kirby's. Tonight was prime rib night for $24.99. Comes with loaded baked potato, salad and supposedly a dinner roll which they apparently forgot but I didn't even notice as I'm trying to cut those carbs with more meat. Heh heh.

I'll give it a five because it was an awesome place to hang out and watch game. Plus, they are having their Saint Paddy's Day celebration and had Irish dancers in a live band. Nachos were just OK but everything else looked good, and the drinks were cold - great atmosphere.

This icehouse is pretty well set up. Has plenty of seating indoors and outdoors along with a big fenced in yard for those who do family outings. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages and their food is a better than OK, not all that great but pretty darn good if that makes any sense. We've gone there on a Friday and Saturday and both nights they have had bands. The crowd tends to be mid 30s and up, so it tends to be very chill, no new age drama. Both days we have arrived around 6 PM, left before midnight. We had the same waitress, (Friday night table of all girls) (Saturday night table with girls and guys) I guess different days means different attitude towards life for some women lol because there was definitely a big difference in service. Nothing a beer couldn't fix on my end. The rest of the staff was pretty nice, and accommodating. *Tip: fit outside if there's a band setting up because you will not be able to hear anything once they start going

We came here with a group of friends for the Super Bowl, and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed! Even with it being an extremely busy day, we had excellent service and the only thing that had a wait was some food. To be expected, since there were about 700 people there. They had drink specials, I had a $7 old fashioned. Well, I had 3 of them... definitely will be back for more games and maybe a concert in the future.

I love this place! Perfect for families, it's like Kirby's in town but for the whole family. Great great great food and fantastic drinks! I'm a stickler for draft beer and mine was perfect. Going back soon!

Loving my neighborhood hangout. The food is great. The drinks are good. The vibe is always chill. The bartenders are great and work hard to take care of their customers. The smoked wings were exceptionally good.

There was plenty of seating and running room for the little ones ! Drinks were strong and great! Service was alright, understandable since it was game day !! I will come here again to try their other drinks and their food

    Pups enjoying!

Sawyer park is a really nice place for happy hour. The place was almost empty on Monday night as we sat and watched football and ate good food. We had a variety of food items. I normally get their pretzel and wings but decided to do different. I ordered the Birria tacos and fresh jalapeño. Excellent! The meal didn't have any sides so it was more of an appetizer but worked well for me. I also got an order to go and an order of buffalo shrimp they were really good. I didn't have any fancy drinks, just a house white wine. It was cold outside so we didn't sit out there but usually, that is the MO. Can't wait until the weather is nice.

Super cool atmosphere! We had the Taco Tuesday special and they were full of meat and very tasty. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

The staff in general seem to really all like working there, when you see them interacting with everyone. The HH menu is a pretty solid menu too with a mix of wines, beers, house cocktails and some appetizers. We had the wings this last time, with lemon pepper and garlic parm, coming in hot with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce. Great wings, super crispy and had a nice crunch to the breading on there. Also, earlier in the evening got the buffalo fries, those were quite tasty as well. On a different visit, tried the mozzarella bites, and those were piping hot, super yum and well seasoned. Great place to come for HH, watch the game, or for large parties. They've got some games on the inside to that you can play and lots of space to hang around along with some private rooms.

It was late and they were still serving food. There was a DJ and the music was pumping. It was a bit loud to have a conversation but the food was good and the music good. I noticed most people were sitting right next to each other, while my friend and I were sitting across from each other. She has a quiet higher voice and I felt like I had to lip read like we were at a dance club. The host at the door was trying to close off a section and directed us to were a bunch of people were dancing, butts right at our eye level and us trying to eat and have a conversation, we said we needed to sit in the other section. There were others there so it wasn't a problem but it was more like we should dancing and not trying to eat. They have karaoke on other times and it looks like a great place to do it. Also a happy hour from 4-7 with reduced prices. It's a fun place.

It's also conveniently close to home, so it seemed like a win. We went for happy hour on a Friday around 5:45 PM. It's seat-yourself, so we chose a table near the bar. Our waitress (whose name we later learned was Marissa) approached us and immediately asked, "Do y'all know what you want to drink?"--no greeting, no menu, no mention of specials, and no acknowledgment that it might be our first time there. The issue was... we didn't even have menus yet. We told her we weren't ready, and she walked off. After a few minutes of finally getting a look at the menu, we still hadn't been told anything about happy hour. My fiancé ended up going to the bar just to take photos of the beer options. When Marissa returned and asked again about drinks, I explained we had to go to the bar and try to figure out the specials. She simply said "okay" and walked away again. To be honest, the service from her felt rude and uninterested. She seemed rushed and even tapped her fingers on the table at one point while taking our order. Despite us mentioning it was our first time, there was no effort to walk us through the menu or highlight anything. What made it more confusing was that she appeared friendly and engaged with other tables--so I'm not sure what the disconnect was with us. We're always kind and respectful to wait staff, but the lack of basic hospitality made it hard to enjoy the experience. As for the food--unfortunately, it didn't make up for it. The crawfish were bland, and the "dipping sauce" tasted like straight hot sauce. The extras (corn, potatoes, sausage) were minimal--basically one of each, cut in half. The Parmesan wings were also underwhelming, tasting like bland Alfredo sauce with Parmesan on top, though they were at least fried well. There was a shift change, and the other waitresses we interacted with were fine--that's actually how we found out our original server's name. Overall, this was a disappointing first experience. Between the service and the food, it just wasn't worth the time or money. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I wouldn't return.
