A Saturday night well spent at the Yard House Bar! Braylon & Scott are great bartenders. They made sure we were always well taken care of. The food is phenomenal, as always. I ordered the smaller portion of the BBQ chicken salad and I still felt like it was huge. I had to have my husband help finish it! The spinach dip is some of the best we've tried and that's saying a lot as this is usually our go to appetizer for most places. I'm not a tuna fan, so I didn't try my husband's meal, but he was happy with it. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area to just come and chill at the bar. It's very spacious and the restaurant has such a cool vibe. I've never had anything to eat here that I didn't like. Their drink selection is vast, especially if you're into beer. They have Angry Orchard on draft (my favorite) and that's hard to find in a restaurant. The restaurant decor is a modern sports bar with TV's around the bar and tv's throughout. The staff is very friendly. Everyone spoke as they passed by. The drinks were really good and not watered down or too sugary. The food was really good. I got two flavors on the Wing and was very pleased with the size and temperature of each. Went to Yard House for dinner with some friends. We arrived shortly before happy hour was over, so we were able to take advantage of some of the happy hour deals. During happy hour, you get $2 off your drink and half off certain entrees. The portion sizes are regular sizes, so that's awesome. They do get crowded, and the music is loud, so just be mindful. The food and service are good. The poke nachos were delicious. Tenders were perfectly cooked. My friend let me try her mushrooms truffle pizza, and it was delicious. This place has become one of my favorite spots to sit, relax and enjoy a beer. I will say I always say at the bar and the bartenders are the best,they work so hard and have great service. The food is amazing seasoned perfectly and a good portion, the garlic Parmesan fries, pizza, are Delicious ,their Cumin shrimp tacos! (Did not take a picture) but I recommend!!! I will say if you go on a football Saturday night you will have to join a waitlist other then that I have yet had difficulty walking in, I will definitely be back and they have a great October fest deal! We arrived Sunday 11:30 and no Texans or Astros game on so not busy but plenty of people arrived by 12 noon Plenty of staff and tables. Even patio seating but only 2 TVs in covered patio and on the side seating only with small tables just for sitting and drinking. This place is huge but I can imagine it would be packed on game days.. I highly suggest the chicken and avocado sandwich and truffle fries really really good. And I asked the server for ketchup and sirrachi so I could make spicy but instead she brought me some spicy aioli (see pic) and it was awesome you gotta try. I also ordered a sweet tea and a shot of makers and added half a shot to each glass of my tea. I call this Jeff's sweet tea, you'll thank me later... We will be back again for sure. read more

Impromptu visit. I've been to Yard House in Miami before and had a great lunch service but this is my first visit to this location , it was worth it though. Went for dinner at about 7 on a Friday evening. It was packed but our wait was less than 10 minutes. The vibe was not rowdy just chatty and music. We had to sit close to hear across the table. The food was delicious. Appetizers of choice were : The four cheese spinach dip (must have) and the chips are sprinkled with Parm cheese i think, but it was so good. The calamari was ok, to me it was just regular. Dinner: Had the orange chicken with jasmine rice, I wasn't sure what to have and didn't want any burgers. I enjoyed it. (Next time I'll try their tacos, it's a new addition to their menu it seems). Also had the whiskey glazed Salmon. Yummy, done to perfection also a Must have. The kids Mac and cheese was a little disappointing however although very hot it was too runny at first so I guess we just had to wait for it to cool and come together but then it was a little too Al dente. I Kept seeing a pretzel dish going around but I was too full to order anything else but it looked delicious. Will try next visit. Drinks were not bad. The mules and Long Island beach ice tea are good. I enjoyed the pink dragon and to top it off we gave the little one a Oreo ice cream treat. Our hostess Madison was very kind and helpful. read more

Up at the mall which I don't equate to good food, but saw Yard House had opened up, another chain but this one really impressed. Seated quickly at a high top and then "upgraded" to an elevated and padded booth, not bad for a Saturday at noon. Our server, Chrissy, gave us the right amount of interest and separation making for a great dining experience. The menu has a few unusual takes on burgers and I opted on the pork version. Loved the change up and the blueberry catsup, though it could have benefited for more of the latter. My bad, not asking Chrissy who made everything appear. The taco plate was also very good, with the birria a standout. The firecracker shrimp was well presented but could had a bit more kick. All in all, a nice addition to the mall landscape. read more

From the warm greeting at the door to our waitress's friendly demeanor and helpful suggestions on drinks and appetizers, the staff made us feel welcome right away. We kicked things off with two appetizers, crispy calamari served with marinara and a spicy tartar sauce, and flavorful brussel sprouts, both were very enjoyable. Our entrees were good, though a touch more seasoning would've elevated them. My steak bowl, ordered medium well, had a few tougher bites and the steak itself could've used a bit more flavor. Upon walking in we were greeted with smiling faces. The hostess asked if we wanted a table or booth which I love when they ask. Our waitress was pretty friendly she didn't go over the menu but I doing kind this. I got the Mediterranean Salmon. The crust was cooked to perfection there were a lot of flavors and blends and it was very tasty. The inside was not over or undercooked. I literally ate every bite. The mashed potatoes were tasty. I love to have a lemon drop cocktail with my dinner. To my surprise they had a lavender one which I've never had. It had a hint of lavender taste it wasn't to overwhelming and it was topped with Rosemary. I went on a Wednesday night it was bust but not to crowded. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out. You can pay at the table with a kiosk that's sitting there so you don't have to wait. You can also order from the bar from this kiosk as well. This is a bar/restaurant but the food is well able bar food. They do have TVS playing and music kind of loud it's fine for me. I gave it five stars? What do you think ? read more

This brand new Yard House is rated higher than the rest, and after visiting I think I know why! The parking is truly a patience practice (really...you'd think they're giving away free food in there), and on my first few visits the line was out the door, BUT on third try, I found the online waitlist. If you learn anything from this review it would be to join the waitlist, join the waitlist, join the waitlist! Although we were not given a time estimate, we were seated in about 5 minutes. As you'd expect from a brand new spot, everything is clean, new, and high tech. What you may not expect is the size of this restaurant. It's certainly one of the largest in the woodlands. Luckily, for its size it runs with efficiency. Waiters consistently check on their tables, and food orders arrive quicker than you'd expect. As far as the food and drink, I had to try something from their extensive beer list (looks like folks come for the beer)! The amber I chose hit the spot and surprisingly paired well with their Brussel spouts. Overall I think the Brussel sprouts were my favorite bite of the meal. We did finish the meal with the Nashville chicken sandwich and a brookie but in my opinion they were a bit less satisfying, the chicken sandwich good, but lacking heat, and the brookie, well it was just your average brookie. Overall, great casual experience. When I want to grab a beer with a friend, I've found a new spot. read more

We came late evening time and the vibe was chill and all about sports so really I came to watch the games too. Ordered the poke nachos again. Delicious but too much seaweed strips and jalapeño slices this time. Fried calamari as well for an appetizer. Then ordered wings with two sauces (Korean chili garlic and buffalo) and the chicken/shrimp pad thai. The pad thai was wayyy too spicy for my taste but the flavor was there. Great to see new restaurants popping up in this area--one of my all-time favorite spots! The Baja tacos are a must-try! You can order two or three and mix and match the meats. Adding a little Sriracha sauce takes them to the next level! If you're a meat eater, you can also request your burger without the bun. Amanda was our hostess today for the soft opening and I can say she was courteous, professional, and eager to assist us at our visit today! The manager and chief also stopped by to see how our service, experience, and food was! The menu has an array of items which all seemed reasonable and great! We started with fried Calamari to share which was fried to perfection and seasoned just right! As entrees, I had an order of 10 wings (half hot and half whiskey pepper glazed bbq)! They were soooo soo good fresh and sauced just right! My other two guest had the Salmon entree and 1/2 pound truffle burger which looked amazing! I posted pictures for details but from their word both entrees were great! The lighting, space, bar look great and we will have the famous yard size drink next time to review! We will be back soon! He doesn't know a thing about me but everytime he sees me he makes me feel like "The Man", that's an important thing for you all to recognize, it's not just me. He's a smart young man and I haven't been here in a while but tonight, behind the bar, he made me feel worth something again. He doesn't even know the effect he's had on me either. I've been to yardhouse before in other states and was excited to see a location pop up by the mall. I loved going to late night happy hour and splitting menu items with friends off of the special menu. It came as a slight surprise to me to see the late night happy hour terms had changed (now more limited) but that can vary per location and especially since the pandemic. I got the grilled cheese with tomato bisque (classic, wonderful) and the Old 43 (delicious and I ordered another one the next time we came in!). Obsessed with Yardhouse. I've been to wayyyyy too many across California and Nevada. My husband and I stalked yelp & the website for weeks when we saw they were opening one here in the Woodlands! We've been twice and both times the food has been incredible ( it always is!). Drinks were also pretty great! My first ever visit to Yard House and it's now my favorite and I want to go back. Excellent selection of beer, surprisingly good food and a generous happy hour that makes it a good value to come more often. The service was so fast - we had a very attentive waitress, but I also like the kiosk at the table. I like to spend a lot of time perusing the beer list and the interface for filtering the beers on their kiosk is better than Untappd which a lot of other good beer bars use. I tried ordering a second beer through the kiosk before finishing my first beer, but that was not a necessary strategy - the second beer was placed on my table in 45 seconds! During the busy happy hour! The ambience felt like an upscale sports bar with a lively crowd but spacious enough to be comfortable and have a conversation. We brought my teen daughter and it was appropriate for her and she really enjoyed the chicken tender appetizer which was a half-off happy hour deal but it was a very generous portion that was basically her dinner. One little detail that has nothing to do with service or quality or anything - during the last hour of happy hour, 5-6pm, the door on the south side of the restaurant at the back corner that must go to outdoor tables reflects the sun pretty harshly when it opens and closes. Parking lot was very crowded and was hoping there wasn't a wait for a table.......there was not. First impression, it's a sports bar with music masquerading as a restaurant. Promptly greeted and seated. Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Very loud as I would expect. Lots of beer options along with tasting choices as well. 3 stars due to food. My wife ordered Garlic Noodles with Lobster which was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor, but has potential to be better. Korean Beef Tacos was a huge disappointment. Lacked flavor and the quality of the mint was bad. I had the sense that the meat had been sitting in a warmer and not cooked to order. It was also charred and chewy and gristle. My advice is that they're trying to be all things to all people and besides good service and lots of beer, don't really hit the mark on a dizzying array of food offerings that are all over the place. read more
