Many appetizers followed by kebabs, rice, mashed potatoes, chicken,fish, fruits you name it. The waiter we had at our table was excellent, always made sure our glasses were full and provided anything we needed. The only thing that would make this place better would be a bar. You can bring your own booze, but it would be so much more convenient if they also had a bar on location. Valet parking was $15. But some of our friends found street parking. read more

We found the venue after attending an anniversary party a few months earlier and really enjoyed our evening. As a result, we selected this venue to host my husband's 55th birthday party. The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. Yesterday was a very emotional day for my family. My dad passed away and yesterday was his hoki hatz, (celebration of life.). My family was so pleased with Arthur and his entire staff from beginning to the end. The appetizers and main dishes were the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers had such a pleasant attitude, made the process very smooth. The ambiance, hall was all renovated all with new fixings lights and new paint on the walls. We hosted my moms 70th birthday party here a few years back and had such a fantastic time. I've also came for other occasions and parties, and the experience has always been great. Please don't expect this to be your typical restaurant with a menu for you to dine at. It's more of a banquet hall, and they can cater your food for pick up. Hint: When you are there for an occasion, tip your waiter in advance and you will have amazing service from them. I think they work harder when they are tipped 1st. read more

I came here for a remembrance gathering which was on a Sunday. The service was whatever from staff. Their was no smile talk, or even a conversation from them. Food was god awful. Kabob was very salty, tabbouleh and salads were very dry. It seemed like the food was all leftovers from the previous days. I cannot rate based on food or wait service, since I was unsure who it was provided by, but I had an overall great experience here. Short version: I hate this place and the staff working here are rude chauvinists. The food isn't bad but not amazing. We've come here for events often but the last time was the worst. The service was just sub-par starting with the unbelievably rude valet who almost ran over one of our relatives because he didn't bother to look behind the car before backing up. I have never been so insulted by any valet person ever. He was ready to start a fight with us over it. Any money spent on hosting an event at this space is just for the space and food, clearly lacking in service, especially when it's an all-female event. The male servers all think they're too good to actually do their job. Based on this experience I wouldn't do an event here or recommend others to do one here. Update: the more I think about how the staff treated us during this event, the more upset I get. I can't believe the server and the valet were so rude to us. Apparently the valet refused to give change back to my mom as we left the event and took his tip forcibly even though almost ran over our relative earlier with his driving and absolutely didn't deserve a tip. That's legitimate theft. Everyone at our table said this was the worst service they'd ever received at a banquet hall event. Never again will I come back here. When we asked for coffee because the server never came to our table when we were there, he rudely told my mother that if she wanted it she should run and get it from the server at the other table. If there had been a manager on site, I would've reported him and the valet person. read more

The keener are very nice and are compliant to anything you want to do regarding your party. I called multiple times to add and change seats and they had no problem in accommodating any issues I had. The area is very clean and newly remodeled which gives it a very nice elegant vibe that I wanted for my guests. The food was amazing and there were many food choices that I offered to my guests which made me like the restaurant even more. I could not be more happy with the choice of Sayot Nova restaurant. About a year ago I had my bridal shower here. The new remodeling they did is seriously AMAZING!!! This banquet hall looks completely different from what it looked like before. The owners are so nice (Avo and Gokor) they managed to put everything i wanted on the table without going over my tight budget..they even helped me find a videographer for the event who did an amazing job with my bridal shower video. Food is impeccable; the presentation of every dish is excellent. Flavors are truly one of a kind. My favorite dish is definitely the stuffed mushrooms...the hint of cinnamon has left me hooked. And don't get me started on the "valet" service. Not only did I park the car myself, they handed me the keys on my way out and told me to go get the car myself after they took my money. I suggested to a friend that we look for an authentic Armenian place in Glendale to try something new - drove all the way out to Glendale to try this place (coming from Monrovia) and when we walked into their patio area expecting that we could be seated and have lunch the woman - who was fetched from inside by one of two men who were Armenian-only speakers - started off by asking us if we spoke Armenian and then when I said "no" gave us a gesture meaning, "Well, what do you want?". I asked, "Could we get a table for two?" (the place had lots of empty tables and at 12:15 there was not one single person eating lunch there) she looked at me like I was asking for the most bizarre request, like she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Then she finally said in very limited words that they are open for special events only, and not a regular restaurant where you can sit down and order food, even though their sign clearly has the word "RESTAURANT" under their name on the big sign out in front. Oh well. We went down the street and spent $50 on lunch with someone else where Armenian was not the required language and they allowed us to stay and eat. read more
