On the side, I went with the arroz y habichuelas. It was solid, though I do wish the beans had a touch more salt or adobo to really bring out the flavors. Before the food showed up, we received some freshly baked bread that was yummy. For entree, I strongly recommend skirt steak with chimichurri and amarillos. There is a parking lot so if you're not going into the La Placita, don't worry. Classic PR bound and laminated menu features all of the good in life. Local favorites, and for good value. You're not getting a Michelin-starred meal here, you're getting sustenance not caviar. Protein, and starch- do you really need microgreens? So order the first of 3 huge pina coladas, mojitos or beers, and STFU Donny. Everything is great and pretty basic. PR "Mayo-Ketchup" on the table already mixed. Curious, I opted for avocado-stuffed fresh ceviche the size of a small child's head. Perfectly seasoned and incredible in value. Just needs lime wedges and a few chips-see pic. Others ordered a cauldron of piping hot seafood soup with shrimp and calamari, and tender beef stew with all the trimmings of rice, beans and everything nice.
