Lunch before going on Rum tasting tour at Bacardi. Take your welcome drink inside the restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal. The staff was very friendly. We chose the 20 dollar 3 course meal. Start off with potato soup with pork, then I had the pork belly mofongo. It was so tender and juicy. The pork belly laid on a bed of sautéed onions cradled inside a nice size mofongo. A warm brown gravy covered the bottom of the plate. I ate every bit. For dessert we had caramel flan and cheesecake turnovers. I was so full from the main course I could barely finish it. But the caramel sauce kept calling my name. Enjoyed every bit.

Georgina is the on-site restaurant at the Bacardi factory. The food was very good. We had mini chicken empanadas and fish chicharones. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also nice. However, the service left a lot to be desired. There seemed to be one person working the front on a day that was not at all busy. He didn't come by other than to take our order and drop off the food; he never brought us water; we had to search for him to get the check. This may have been an anomaly on that particular day, but we unfortunately did not have a great experience other than the actual food.

We went on a Saturday. The bacalaítos tacos with tuna tasted bland. You could only taste the mayo. We ordered the burger medium well and it was over cooked also the ratio of meat to bread wasn"t appropiate. The crab rissotto tasted good but the shrimp were spoiled and smelled odd. Been in Bacardi I expected the mojito to be delicious. It wasn't. I don't know what is happening with Bacardi quality control. They should be able to provide decent food at affordable prices for tourists as well as locals. won't be back.

Showed up early for a tour and hung out here. Bartender Yussef was a great help regarding knowledge of drinks and activity ideas for our vacation. Staff in general was attentive and professional. They feature a full menu here but I didn't order anything.

My favorite restaurant, out of the 5-6 I've tried so far around San Juan and Catano!! The food was very delicious! We had the calamari, chicken wings, empanadas and mojitos. We loved the wings so much we got a second order of it.

I never write any reviews but I had to for Georgina. My friend and I went here after the bacardi tour for lunch. Ww werent expecting much from a tourist restaurant and was expecting overpriced jusf okay meal from this place. Boy was I wrong. I got the skirt steak from this restaurant and by far it was the best skirt steak I had. I have been to a few more restaurants after this but nothing even came close to tge quality of Georgina's skirt steak. The medium was cooked just right and the seasoning was perfect. I definitely recommend the skirt steak from Georgina. It took a while for the food to come out so the service time could be better but it is definitely worth the wait.

The drinks, the food and the service was excellent!!!! From their appetizers to the entree...yum all the way. And, I had more than enough food! Our waiter was Carlos and he was amazing. Thank you for a great experience! Great to do after the tour!

This place is closed. Has not reopened since Maria. Do not plan to eat anything other than empanadas at the Bacardi distillery

There are enclosed, air-conditioned dining rooms on either side, which was a welcome relief from the Puerto Rico heat. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and it just has a great vibe. I ordered the stuffed avocado with shrimp. I had seen stuffed avocados on several menus during our trip, so I'm glad I finally tried one. It was delicious and something I can't easily find back home. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals as well. One thing to note is that the restrooms are located through another doorway that leads outside to an enclosed bathroom area. It was extremely hot out there, so just be prepared. There was only one other party dining in our room, which made for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The service was very good, and overall we had a wonderful experience. When you enter the restaurant, you walk through a shopping area of handmade items beautiful items so take the time to shop either on the way in or the way out I would definitely recommend Café El Punto if you're visiting Old San Juan.

I sat at the bar, and the service was quick and friendly. I ordered the vegan Verde Mesa rice, and it was delicious. The flavors worked really well together and felt thoughtfully balanced. The portion was also surprisingly generous easily enough for two people to share. I also had a dirty martini, which was well made and paired nicely with the meal. The only downside is the price. Everything was very good, but it felt a little expensive for what it was. That said, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service made for a great overall experience.

After a year I think is time to give this review a well deserved update. I keep coming back to this…read moreplace, I really love it--its one of those places that just gets it right! They offer a variety of herbal cocktail, with unique flavors and creative takes. My husband had a mezcal-base drink with herbs and he loved it--so much that he ended up having a few haha... I went for the classic Old Fashion which was OK, not great. I switched to a Moscow Mule after and that one was really good. Verde Mesa wins you over with freshness, balance, and a clear point of view rooted in farm-to-table cooking. Dishes feel vibrant, intentional and thoughtfully composed rather than heavy or overly manipulated. With that said, we began with the Kumamoto oyster, fresh and sweet. Then we had one of their classics, the sourdough toast with spread. This time they served it deconstructed--bread on the side and the spread separate-- and honestly, I like it better. The bread stays perfectly toasted, and you can built it yourself exactly how you want. The ribeye tartare was a pleasant surprise--rich, flavorful and paired with 'platanutres' (plantain chips) on the side, which complimented it really well. The only small note is that the chips were a bit too small to really build a proper bite with the tartare on top. Maybe using mariquitas would make that pairing even better. Also the tuna tiradito was well balanced with passion fruit, sesame seed vinaigrette and 'ají'. For mains, I had the pork cheeks stew, which was incredibly tender, soft and packed with flavor-- definitely a standout. My mom had the seared yellowfin tuna that came beautifully plated and the tuna had a vibrant red color that looked so appetizing. She really enjoy it, and said it was amazing. My husband had the mahi mahi fillet that came on a white cabbage stew and fish broth--he said he'll come back just for that single dish, that's how much he liked it. We saved some room for dessert and tried the tembleque and the tiramisu. The tembleque wasn't the most traditional version, but it had a subtle ginger hint that really worked and made it feel a bit more elevated. The tiramisu was also a great way to end the meal, creamy and indulgent. Overall, I would said the food matches the space-- artistic, cozy and a little whimsical. It's the kind of place where you slow down and enjoy each plate rather than rush through a meal.

Fish tacos were really good, the best we had in the old San Juan area. we were there for 50 odd minutes and went to another bar. the ambiance was good but can't say the same about service but as I said above- this is the scene in every other bar in that street. so this is normal there. also, happy hour is from 3 to 8 (like other bars) one thing to keep in mind- whatever the restaurant/bar/pub you visit in this area - your food order gonna take time, as these all are mostly there for drinks, of course, food items are there in the menu, but it's gonna more then usual time, so if you are hungry, try other restaurants.
