Overall I was very happy with the work that was done on my hair and the care that was taken to make sure my hair was healthy. With that said there is nothing that justifies the cost of getting your hair done here especially since they triple book you and often leave your hair in the hands of their "assistants"- who are also stretched thin and mostly inexperienced. I get wanting to maximize profit. I have a business myself! So I get it. But imagine my surprise when i book a highlight at 11 and someone else books a highlight at 12 and now my colorist is leaving me to do both. On top of that i think it's generally wrong to not blow out your client who has just gotten color treatment because color looks different wet versus dry. I wasn't informed to book a blow out on top of my color services I was just rushed out of the chair with wet hair day of, which was odd. Additionally, someone who formerly worked on my hair here came into MY workplace for a service and then complained to my boss instead of letting me know directly that there was an issue. I would never do anything like that to anyone, but apparently this is the culture at this salon or what this individual decided was appropriate. Again, I was happy with how my hair came out here. They brought my hair back to normal after it was ruined by another salon, but I don't think I'll be back. Onward!

Making the appointment was easy - I texted with Sara to schedule but you can also schedule online. When I showed up for my appointment I was told Sara's car had broken down therefore she was running very late. Instead of turning me away and telling me to reschedule completely, Odete swept into action and did my roots. We had a tough time finding a color match (since my previous color was done at a different salon) but she went above and beyond to perfectly match and she did! Sara ended up making it into work right before my rinse therefore we decided to reschedule the bayalage. I came back the following week and everyone remembered me by name (even Oksana the nail lady)! Sara meticulously did my bayalage and made sure I was comfortable as I sat for 3 hours to get the perfect highlights put into my hair. Everything turned out perfectly and the blowout was great, as well. I cannot wait to come back here for touch-ups and color going forward.

I finally had the time and messaged her directly telling her what I wanted with some inspo pictures. She said she was booked for weeks, but would set me up with one of her girls, Erica. She advised me to come in for a consult so that Erica can see my hair. I went in for my consult and Erica was great. After my consult we made an appointment! It was time for my appointment! I reminded Erica of what I wanted and she listened 100%! I wanted black with blue. She advised me there are a lot of different blues and she showed them all to me. I walked out with I believe 4 different blues! My hair was better than I could have imagined. Erica brought so much life back to my hair. So why 4 stars and not 5? When I paid I was not advised of the fee for using a card. It also isn't advertised anywhere. I didn't know until I got my receipt. I wish the receptionist either told me when I handed her the card or even after. If I didn't ask for my receipt I never would have known and would have thought I was charged the wrong amount on my statement.
