He went on IG and created a bogus review using my name and my child's pic... when, I had to demand for him to take it off which he did. Ely responded quickly and provided clear information about cost and where to send documents via email so that he could make an attempt to get an individual I needed served. However, the communication was mostly me asking for details about next steps, as this was not clear after I sent my payment. I also didn't feel like a clear plan of how these attempts would be made was discussed or explored, as Ely never called me to ask me questions about my situation or why I was having a difficult time getting this individual served, as I had already had the Sheriff's Dept make (6) attempts with no success. Ely did share each day that he was unsuccessful in a brief text, but I didn't have any additional proof of attempts made. I did eventually get proof of Ely's attempts via a Declaration of Due Diligence, but I had to request it and then had to inquire about when it would be delivered. Overall, I am hopeful that these attempts were genuine and that everything was done to ensure proper handling of the issue. What a nightmare. As if going through litigation isn't enough, this guy put the cherry on top. What appeared to be a simple process serving led to lies upon lies. Anyone who looks through the screenshots will quickly realize this guy doesn't know when to stop building on his fabrications. I paid for 3 forms to be served. Upon receiving his signed POS with the wrong name served (fabricated name, see pics) along with only 1 form, he states he did serve all of the forms. Eventually he sends me a signed POS showing all 3 forms served to the fabricated name. When I point out the fabricated name the first 3 times, he doesn't catch on. Then he affirms the name of the person he served is real. After that I have to point out that name served, listed on the POS is the defendants first name and my last name. He then still sticks to his claim that person served is a real person, despite my obvious indications it's not.After that it's more excuses and from my POV lies. Here we are a week later and I still have nothing to show the courts for POS. It's all in the pics for everyone to see. There's plenty of process servers out there. Do what you will with this info and from your own opinion. UPDATE: After close to 30 emails and this review, Ely keeps saying he served correctly, and I still have NOTHING to shown the courts other than a POS to some fictitious person. I feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone Episode. UPDATE AGAIN: after 39 emails, 1 bad review, constant affirmations by him he's right and I'm wrong, I hopefully have what I need. I'm not at all confident though because I had to make more corrections for him I.e. he got the case number wrong, didn't include documents he served, and I somehow have to coach him on how this works. ‍ read more
