She was trying to control him when he started barking when he heard another dog outside and was aggressive acting toward him. He was already in a mussel and not happy when she looked at his paws but to act like that to a 110 pound german shepherd that has never been to a vet is the most unprofessional Vet Doc could ever be. I understand some of the complaints I read below, and have experienced all of those things myself, including the front desk rudeness, the lack of being able to get an appointment for a sick pet, the wait times, and the upselling. It has frustrated me to the extent that I was looking for another vet, even though I love Dr. Barnett and Dr. Byrd. If I had learned about the vet recommended by Barbara S., below, I might have tried him or her out. BUT yesterday was different. I DID have to wait about 30 minutes, BUT it was because they had an emergency right before my appointment, so I'm definitely forgiving that. As they say on "All Creatures Great and Small," the animals have to come first. When the tech. finally came in, she was conscientious, friendly, and loved on my wee doggy. She took down my long story about weekend tummy troubles practically word-for-word as I spoke. Then when Dr. Byrd came in, she was both professional and loving. She always remembers my 15-year old doggy, and reminds me each time how lucky I am to have her. (I KNOW that! chuckle.) So I'm going back to the five stars I always used to give even though it's not perfect. I know that new building and parking lot cost them a bundle, and I guess they want to upsell a little bit to help pay for it. I certainly don't mind paying for the tests once a year for my geriatric puppy. I appreciate Dr. Byrd's attentiveness and good detective work. She is always Seussie's good doctor. I will stick with Randolph Animal Hospital.

After the procedure was done, from that moment it got worse. On several occasions, I was charged $50 just because Dr. Noeller touched my dog. Mind you, everyone knows my dog's leg is broken, and it's in her records. So i was confused as to why an exam was needed. On top of that, if you ever need to bring your pet in regarding an emergency, you will be charged $50 for a same day appt. The last appt I specifically told them that I just want a bandage change for my puppy and nothing else. They took it upon themselves to add x-rays when I specifically said no. But there is the kicker. They had the audacity to sneak it in the price. If I wasn't careful, they would have gotten over on me. I would never come back to this place ever again.

She recently had a belly ache that turned from bad to worse. He was able to get me in the next day both times we needed to come in and took the diagnostic one test at a time rather than running a bill up with all at once. He's as honest as they come and is a wonderful vet. I highly recommend!
