So first there should be an option for ten star because Reaba deserves that. This was by and far…read morethe most amazing experience my dog Smokey and I have had. First, this happened to fall the weekend of Hurricane Michael when everyone lost power including Reaba. It was very last minute as my trip plans changed and I had to leave earlier than expected and could not reach the place originally scheduled for my dog. I quickly search engines somewhere and Reaba popped up and I called explained my situation and though slightly off her normal stipulations she agreed to help me. Of course none of us expected the storm at this point as it was Thursday. We left, and I am always super apprehensive leaving Smokey bc he was a rescue and I always worry he thinks I am abandoning him. Well storm hits and sure enough Reaba lost power the entire time I was gone as did everyone here in Saxapahaw. When we returned Sunday we weren't sure what we would return to at our house so Reaba was gracious enough to offer if we needed to pick him up the next day that was fine. Fortunately we did not. We picked up Smoky and I was expecting the usual, my dog to be anxiously waiting for me jumping up to see me , jumping in my car, jumping and running. What I got was similar to a mopey child being picked up by mom to early I seriously could not believe it. My dog did not want to leave!! My dog came home with more manners, quieter, more well trained than I sent him!!! I am still in disbelief!!! I cannot reccommend NO BARKING BACK enough!!!! Honestly!!! I feel like my dog has made friends with Rebea's kids and can't wait to visit again! Even if you live in G'boro or Mebane it's worth the distance for the complete TLC your dog will get from Reaba will give to your furry family member -kerri D

I looked at the owner's website www.camp-ruff.com which describes their facility as a "lux camp" for dogs and puppies. I was intrigued and called for an appt to view the property and see the operations. I was met by the Camp Director/Owner, a delightful, sincere woman named Lucinda. She greeted me and my dog and proceeded to show me the camp home, which is divided into sections based on the needs and behaviors of the various dogs she was boarding. She listened to my description of my dogs needs, habits and observed her to judge how she would behave w other dogs. One by one she let a dog out from the house, where they have their "sleep over", cautiously to see what my dog would do. As the animals were about my dog's size everyone seemed to accept each other. Great news! Lucinda decided to take the next step by taking my dog w the small pack for some exercise on the trail in the woods behind the house. The dogs were running around having a great time which relieved my anxiety that my dog might not like to be off leash but she was running and getting some great exercise and learning to enjoy the pack mentality. No fighting or misbehaving, perfect! Lucinda works tirelessly to pamper the pooches morning and night. Morning feedings, evening feedings, medications and always careful observations of the pets. They all sleep like happy babies when the day ends in a real home environment. Prices are in line and reasonable I think for an overnight stay of $44 including feeding, walking, playtime and careful observation by someone who is highly qualified and very knowledgeable of pet behavior. All animals come in contact w other pets only when owner has documentation for boarding such as rabies vaccination, bordetello. This place is a well thought out and safe place to leave your precious pet while you are away. So relax, they got your back!

Not only is her bedside manner lacking (most of the time she spends minimum time in the room, doesn't listen to what you have to say, and you spend the rest of the time asking questions through a tech), but she's misdiagnosed our dog multiple times. I try to avoid her whenever possible, preferring the other two doctors, but when you have an urgent concern and she's the only doctor in, you have to go with what you're given. The real issue with her started this past October. We brought our dog to Eno for a routine dental cleaning on 9/29 (performed by Dr. Grinstead - I didn't get a choice of who did it). He had two little incisors taken out due to deep pockets, but otherwise was given a clean bill of health. Two days later, he couldn't lie his head down. When we brought him in to be checked out, we of course got Grinstead again. She looked at everything on the dog except his mouth (didn't even peek at the extraction site) and told us it was probably acid reflux and neck pain. Fast forward a month and a half, through multiple visits to urgent care, the ER, and Eno, and we find that our dog has an abscess, instability in his lower jaw, and a bone infection. At no point in this entire process did Eno ask to perform xrays or other diagnostics to determine the cause of our dog's pain; they just kept throwing pain meds and muscle relaxers at us. What's worse is that Grinstead's first diagnosis of neck pain haunted us through every other appointment from then on out, because that's what people were looking for, even when I asked if it could be his mouth. Even after urgent care and the ER laid eyes on a sore under his tongue (which I fought for them to look at), the first response I got to an email to Dr. LeCuyer about seeing blood on his blanket again was, "Are we certain that the blood is from Loki's mouth and not his urine? I know he was having issues with a UTI at one point so just wanted to double check on that." Really?! I've been fighting for over a month to have someone check his mouth for issues, and you're still trying to pass it off as something other than his mouth? It's absolutely ridiculous. So here we are, thousands of dollars in the hole, with a dog still suffering from mouth pain, and having to be referred yet again, this time to a dental specialist, all from a supposedly picture-perfect cleaning. I'm furious, frustrated, and wrecked that we're a month and a half into this and our dog has received no relief. I will never recommend or patronize Eno again.
