This may be good for a business definitely not good for your house. First time I plugged it in it worked amazing. It was so strong. I had to turn it off because my house is only 2800 ft.². Any product that relies on a contract to trap you -- instead of earning your business through quality and performance -- is telling you exactly what it is: garbage. The salesman intentionally misled me into signing a 48-month contract by telling me I could cancel at any time with a 30-day notice and get a lower monthly price. That was the only reason I agreed. What he didn't tell me was that canceling would cost $6,000 -- basically forcing me to pay for the full remaining contract. If he had been honest, I NEVER would have signed. This is not a misunderstanding. It is deception. The worst part? The product itself doesn't even work as advertised. They sold me on the "bacteria and virus elimination" feature, specifically claiming it would reduce the spread of kennel cough and similar illnesses. It hasn't made any difference at all. In fact, this has been one of my worst years for illness in the facility. The "scent feature" barely works -- half the time there's no scent at all, and when it does work, it makes both humans and dogs sneeze before it quickly fades. Communication is terrible. They intentionally delay replies, and even when the system isn't functioning properly, they expect the customer to keep paying instead of pausing billing until they fix the issue. That tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. Before posting this, I checked online -- and there are hundreds of similar complaints across multiple platforms. So this isn't a one-off problem. This is a pattern of shady business practices, deceptive sales, underperforming products, and contracts designed to trap customers. If the product truly worked, they wouldn't need to rely on loopholes, fine print, and manipulation. They'd stand by the performance. Instead, they hide behind contracts and salespeople with zero moral code. I'm done being quiet about it. I have cause to cancel, and so do a lot of other people. The reason I started using ScentAir was because of the wonderful scents they sold ~ Cold Stone Creamery options. They abruptly stopped offering any of them & didn't replace them with anything similar. Also, nearly every time I try to order one of the few scents that I like, they are OUT OF STOCK, for WEEKS. Now, their website has been down for days & I cannot place an order at all. It shouldn't be this difficult to order these very expensive products. Want to post my extremely bad experience with this company ScentAir I hope this email will help others not to get into a similar situation to mine. I'm in this situation with this company since May 2024 I'm trying to cancel my service with them as of May 2024, I spoke with several people from this company already by the emails (I have all proofs of this email), by the phone (everyone promised to help me with my issue, but no one did. I'm so tired of this and still receiving the invoices from them about the service I'm no longer receiving from may! I find this company by myself and I remember the problems already start from the beginning they forgetting to answer on my emails all the time, but I continued to work with them even though it was already necessary to finish everything there. I ordered first machine from them (the size of this machine them recommended to me based on the size of my business). But first machine was too small for the size of my business and I changed the machine for the bigger and expensive one The price for that service 190$ every month. But the craziest thing in this story is their action on my requests. I'm tried to get a technician to my salon from them to check what's going on with the machine because we don't feel a smell at all, and it's not fair to pay 190$ a month for this, but they promise to us every week during a month to send someone, and when he finally came he just plugged the cord into the socket, said nothing and left after without any explanations. They treat their customer who's fulfilled its obligations (payments on time) and from which their business get 2280$ a year. A lot of people from this company promised me to resolve this issue and never did I'm asking for return label several times but no one did this and no one cancelled the service as promised. I don't understand how they still on the market with such an attitude to their value clients. They also have a number you call and leave a message for but no one calls you back either. The building I am in is not allowing me to use the system either because it is going into other peoples units. I have tried to cancel multiple times and they just keep sending me the refills. In a time of a pandemic we are continuing to 'spritz' a product into the air when everyone is doing their best to protect others by not spreading germs. Interestingly enough when I did reach out to you for the SDS sheets I was given the run around and it took me a week to get them. I was a customer when this company was Enviroscent, and ever since the takeover it has been nothing but a nightmare. I used to get the monthly subscription for the Fragrance of the Month, and now that ScentAir acquired the business they are charging close to double for the subscription and it's the exact same product. I signed up anyway because I have two machines and I do enjoy the scent, however I have had to email the company every month in order to get my cartridge. Do not sign a contract. They scammed a lower level employee into signing a 3 year contract within 2 months the product was not usable and causing alergic reactions to a sensetive residents at a community. When we asked to cancel the service they responded that ist would be $11,000 to buy out the contract. I explained that was absurd and that the person was not an authorized signatory who engaged them but was met by a sales person well versed in contract law telling me we were obligated as we had paid the first invoices. Terrible company. They send units late. They send invoices late, and when they do show up they're impossible to pay (they claim they have autobilling but it's a lie; you have to mail a check every month, which would be fine if they actually sent invoices an not just angry emails). If you email THEM, you don't get a response for several weeks, and you will never actually get an answer to a question or a resolution to your issue They also trap you in these auto-renewing contracts, which is fun given that they don't actually send the units they say they're going to. I strongly suspect that their bad communication and inability to actually send the invoices has to do with them not wanting to remind you they exist around contract-renewal time. Nothing shady about that at all. Oh, and your customers will have allergies to the smell. Skip it, unless you're looking for an overpriced service ("service") that will lose you business and waste your time with poor customer service. read more

Don't sign a contract! We signed on with this firm 3 years ago based on something I heard at a seminar. We had employees and customers who were allergic to their scents and became sick in the office. It was clear after a few months that their service was not for us. I attempted cancelling the service, but we were apparently locked into a 3 year deal that was impossible to get out of. We kept paying for 3 year, not really using the service. After 3 years and the conclusion of our contract they continued billing us! They will not respond to our demands to cancel and simply send out invoices robotically with no apparent recourse. What a nightmare! read more

I was hesitant to lock into a 2 year contract but decided to do it anyways. I tried canceling during the pandemic and was told that I could not cancel because each anniversary of the sign up date (after the 2 year contract was up) I automatically get locked into an additional 1 year non refundable contract. I told them that the salesman lied to me and said I could cancel at anytime, but they do not care about their customers or the dishonest sales tactics used by their sales team. Really bad experience. I ended up paying thousands of dollars and not even using any of the products. I was really excited to use them for my business and it ended up being a costly mistake. Even after the contract was made off, their organizational team, managers etc. told me they didn't know how to stop notifications on the charges I would get in my email but all was paid off and well. After getting multiple higher-up managers even emailing me this in writing, years later they are sending me to collections for a mistake they made on their end. Being a business owner, part of me feels bad about how horrible their system is but "wow" please beware that they really don't have their systems down as a company. I spoke to different people and at one point one of the customer service reps said I had a three-year contract and if I want to cancel I would have to pay it out which is ridiculous and when I reviewed the contract it was only a one year contract. I didn't realize there was a nine day cancellation policy but now I know and I'm canceling. I have had horrible experience with Scentair. I am a brand new customer and discovered the hard way about the company's return policies. Much like other reviewers, the return policy is not for the customer. Their shipping via FedEx takes weeks, not days. Perhaps Fed Ex does not respect the business either. I found their customer service staff fine. Cindy, a manager, called and was sympathetic , but she could not help me. I FEEL BAD FOR THE EMPLOYEES! I will not purchase products from them in the future. I learned of the product line via Ritz Carlton Hotels. As a meeting planner, I value customer service. I will be contacting my contacts with all hotels that use this product and urge them to reassess their relationship with Scentair. It's a sad day when a company does not value their customers. Remember to be kind to the customer service staff. They are the ones who a stuck with bad policies that they have to enforce. I signed a 1 year contract because of ScentAir's terrible reviews. Their product is mediocre. It smells nice, but doesn't last a month. After learning that a 3 year contract offered lower pricing, I asked to sign a new contract. They sent me a Docusign request but secretly changed the cancellation terms! (sneaky, sneaky!) ScentAir isn't interested in keeping customers through excellent products and customer service. They tried to trick me into signing an expensive contract that can't be cancelled easily. If you read the reviews, you'll see that lots of people have been locked into terrible contracts and are unhappy. 56 almost consistently bad reviews! It's hard to do that! This company has contracts that don't make sense and literally can not be adhered to within the calendar system that the world uses. Then they have the nerve to act as if the addendum they "allowed" is doing you a favor. We have a smell issue in our large building and this will probably make a massive difference, but I can't say I'd recommend them based 100% on their inflexible contracts and enjoyment of saying "no" to their customers. To me, the entire way that ScentAir does business (from the moment a customer reaches out to them until the contract is signed) reflects very antiquated business practices. You can tell that those in decision making positions within Scentair are older folks, and have no real understanding of today's marketplace expectations. ADDENDUM to my review: I just got my first invoice from ScentAir that clearly says they bill on the 1st of every month (today is the 14th). I think it's also important to mention that the ScentAir machines haven't even been delivered to my location yet. I am a business owner in Houston Texas and tons of my entreprenuer friends have this system, I decided to take advantage of the Black Friday deals but its impossible to order. The website doesn't work and can't seem to make an account. I have called several times, lefts tons of messages, and can't seem to get a hold of anyone. I don't understand how a company of this magnitude has such poor communication.
