You see, if I messed this up then Willa wouldn't have been the only pet getting fixed. I walked in to pick up after ringing the bell as instructed. The door was answered, not by staff but by a customer who was known by name. She said goodbye with a "see you next time.". The building itself was not anything fancy, but they were also in the midst of renovating. I had Willa in my possession, and the veterinarian who performed the surgery answering my questions within 5 minutes of walking in the door. He was patient, knowledgeable, and had answers to most of the girlfriend-provided questionnaire before it was even asked. He checked over all the paperwork to ensure accuracy, fixed a registration issue with a microchip that I wouldn't have even known was a problem, and we were on the road shortly after. Given my experience with veterinarians from my area, which us usually a hurried conversation where it's clear they are trying to head right back out the door, it was a refreshing experience. Willa promptly left a one star review on their front lawn and we were on our way, minus some ovaries.
