I saw Dr. Jackson. He is amazing!…read more But then came the hidden fees/prices for the appointment. When checking out I had a charge for $85 for "fitting the contacts". That day my eyes were itchy and I did not try on my contacts. I was given the trail pair and then went to checkout. When I saw that charge and asked about it I was told that if I did not pay it, I would have to give my trial pair of contacts back. (They are the same brand I have worn in the past, just newer prescription.). The $85 is more than 1 box of 6 month for the contacts. I then received a bill for $49 stating the insurance did not pay it. This was for the refractory service which makes it to where the doctor can give me my prescription. To have this not apart of the price for the eye exam and something extra is a little sketchy to me. I paid it to be done with them. But BEWARE... you never know what they will bill you for! Before going to the appointment I tried to find out how much the whole thing would cost, I was never able to get a clear answer. I am sorry Dr. Jackson has to work with such an awful corporation. She decided to pay the bill in full and let them reimburse her when they were paid. It could take up to 45 days. This was in October of 2025. Its now February of 2026. We have contacted their billing dept (India) given a runaround about waiting for VSP to pay. She contacted VSP and they had already paid ECA. They now say that there were other charges and she is only owed back $70 of $140 when she clearly paid the bill in full. We have both been by to speak with them and the office manager is always "in a meeting". They continue to say she needs to contact the billing dept but they are pretty useless. Considering small claims court and reporting insurance fraud.

I go there every six months and the last visit I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time. Had another appt last Tuesday and I watched 12 people go into the back, another 10 come in were agin seen and I was left alone. I asked why I was still waiting and they said they didn't know where my paperwork was but would look for it. After 10 min waiting, I left. The manager Sarah called me and wanted to rebook my appt. I asked why? I'm never seen on time. She said it is Doctor Vrostos policy that all patients are seen based upon their scheduled appointment time even if they come in 25 to 30 minutes late. What that means is if you have a 10:10 am appt and you come in 30 min late, say at 10:40 am, they are seen immediately. Pushing everyone else behind. The staff stood around gossiping for 20 minutes waiting for all these late people to show up and when they did, they were behind. What a dumb way to run a business. Sara the manager explained to me the Dr stands firm on that policy and refused to let me talk to the Doctor. She went on to say Dr V Never calls patients for complaints or issues. She then agreed that they did not respect my time or me as a patient. It's basically a waste of the Doctors time to deal with patients. I was shocked and could not believe she told me that but she told me not to wait around waiting for a call back because she will never call you back. So the manager was 100% correct a week has gone by and I've heard nothing from the doctor. You know the doctor is great, and if you only go once a year, maybe it's OK to wait that long out for an appointment. But when you go many times a year, it is totally disrespectful to be treated like that. I've already found a new doctor already have an appointment.
