We waited 3 weeks for an appointment only to be turned away because our appointment was after 4 and they don't do first time contact wearers appointments after 4. The next appointment was two weeks away. The lady was very rude when I showed frustration and asked how are we supposed to know this. It seems like that would be a question you would ask before scheduling the appointment. I would not recommend EyeMart on Atlanta Highway. read more

After having to have a new pair of eyes we decide to go to this business.I had gotten my prescription done at my private eye doctor , but they were not accepting the type of insurance that I had so I had to find another business for getting the type of glasses that I really always like wearing. I was afraid I wasn't going to find a pair that I like but I ended up getting 1. The customer service was excellent the young lady that assisted us was very friendly. We came at a very good time which was late in the afternoon, the traffic wasn't high inside. read more

Daughter broke her glasses and we needed an inexpensive pair. We came to Eyemart and was greeted with smiles and quick service. We found 2 pair we were able to get for $42 with tax. They did not try to push something more expensive and super friendly. Glasses were ready in 12 min!! I don't know of another place that can provide quick and accurate service!! read more

This is my second trip back but it was marred by a pushy salesperson who would not give me a chance to really look at the glasses I was purchasing and as a result I have a pair of distance glasses that are heavy and sliding off my face and a really great pair of readers. Next time I go I will be firm when dealing with them and tell them to please back off and let me look. Felt pressured and overwhelmed with all the frames she kept bringing me. I wish I could return them or exchange them because for 175.00 I should love both pairs but I don't. read more

This is an update to my previous review about Eyemart Express. After the my first bad experience with this location I got a call last month in August from the general manager asking me to stop by the store. Once I get there and in his office he apologized for my previous experience and tells me that they had no use for my glasses and they wanted me to have them. He was very nice and and apologetic. It was a great gesture and I will consider doing business with this location again in the near future. I guess all I really wanted from the start was for someone at this location to show care and concern about a really bad mistake. read more

Very poor service, obviously disorganised and no professional integrity. I have done business with this location since it opened and have been satified enough to be a faithful regular customer for well over a decade. That having been said, in the last 12 months or so the management has changed and with that the attitude, quality and culture of the associates has changed and not in a good way at all. I am now waiting for the fulfillment of my glasses prescription for over a month. The local staff has no handle on what is happening with orders or how to correctly fill them and whenever I followup it is starting at ground zero everytime. It is as though they have no record of transactions or contacts. On each occasion whether in person or via telephone promises are made and then disputed by others, totally forgotten and are never executed. They have had several hundred dollars of my money and a month later I nothing to show for it except vertigo and headaches because I don't have my correct prescription glasses. read more

My father hasn't been able to see at all for 9 months after a severe eye injury...we had pretty much been told that it could not be resolved without surgery...he is 80 years old so we were concerned about surgery....my father was treated with such kindness at this location and is able to see..they went above and beyond to help with his situation and we wouldn't go anywhere else in the future...brought tears to my eyes to have my father see clearly. This is a LONG one reviewers but I have to tell my story! WE LOVE THIS EYEMART EXPRESS STORE! GARY was the man! It's no wonder why this store has so many great reviews! And another HUGE difference we noticed upon entering this store was how everyone was greeted! With a smile and sincere hello, how can we help you! We did NOT get this at America's Best or Lens Crafters. I had gone to America's Best, where I'd purchased my glasses to have the eye bridge cushion replaced. The young man had also tightened them (unknown to me). When I went to take them back off the one side was noticeably tighter, but right, but the other side was nearly impossible to fold in. Then they simply broke right in half in my hands. (After repairing them he'd handed them to me open and I simply had put them back on.) So we drove back to that store (35 miles), told them what had happened, and I'd noticed a fracture in the frame near the joint of the arm and the eye piece parts, on the same side that was over tightened. They said they'd call me IF they found the same frames, now discontinued, and that was all they could do. Mind you these glasses cost me about $368.00. So we drove another 45 minutes to Montgomery to Lens Crafters,(we'd originally planned to go there but decided to give America's Best a shot JUST because it's where I bought the glasses in the first place AND it was so much closer). We'd purchased glasses from Lens Crafters in the past, where we used to reside, but not this particular store, and always had a good experience. As soon as we entered the store at about 1:30 PM, we noticed that there were NO customers in the store. This store is located inside a mall. As soon as the lady sees my prescription (I brought with me so that they could make me another pair), she tells me they can't do anything to help me because my prescription is expired and I would have to have another eye exam, which would cost $104.00. The doctor would not be back from lunch until 2:30! Remember it was 1:30. And this was on Saturday. Anyway, I began to be totally irritated since I'd driven so far. (I'd called earlier in the morning before we left and she never told me that I'd have to have a new eye exam. And they wouldn't know what kind of lenses I'd need until AFTER I had the eye exam, and if they didn't have the lenses, I'd have to come back in two weeks to get those! AND they wouldn't be able to put my lenses into any other pair of glasses. She wouldn't even consider looking. I decided there was no way this was happening. My backup glasses were not very comfortable as the prescription was very old on those. And readers were the only other option I had left. I wear bi-focals. So I noticed the Eyemart Express, that we'd passed, was just about 2/3 miles back and we decided to go there. When we walked in it was about 1:45 there were quite a few folks inside, but they also had several people on staff working. BEFORE we could even sign in a gentleman named Gary came right out from behind the counter and began helping us. He said he would look to see if they had a pair of frames for my bi-focals and try to get me set. He stated that he understood (without us EVER saying these words mind you) that it was a holiday weekend (May 26th), my glasses were broken, and that I just needed them fixed so we could go and enjoy the rest of the weekend. He found a very suitable pair of frames within less than 2 MINUTES! He had my lenses inside them another 10 minutes later! We couldn't believe it after what we'd already been through with America's Best and Lens Crafters! WE told briefly told him what we'd already been through and he told us he understood as he used to work at Lens Crafters. They could have done the same thing that Eyemart did for me! It's no wonder that Lens Crafters will be out of business soon! This store rocks! No wonder they have so many great reviews! read more
