Our waitress never once checked on us--we had to flag her down every single time, which made ordering drinks and food a chore rather than a relaxing night out. But honestly, the worst part of the night wasn't even the service. It was the fact that a couple brought their newborn to the bar and stayed from 8 PM to midnight. With loud music blasting, they passed the baby around and parade it around on the dance floor, never feeding the child once, but had no problem changing it on the air hockey table. It was disturbing to watch, and frankly, it made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. A bar is no place for a newborn, especially late at night in that kind of environment. The only saving grace of the night was the band, Trans Am--they were absolutely phenomenal. They put on a great performance, but unfortunately, the energy in the bar was completely off. Nobody was dancing or really engaging with the music, which was a shame because they deserved a much better crowd. If management allows this kind of thing to happen, I don't see myself coming back. There are plenty of other dive bars that at least provide decent service and an environment where I don't have to question someone's parenting choices all night

Yes, it was poor etiquette on my part to play long songs (not sure why they are an option then), but worse etiquette is stealing someone's credits (the money they put into the machine) by refusing to allow the songs they selected to play. Another form of poor jukebox etiquette is playing gross and vulgar "music", that the majority of the other patrons don't want to have to listen to. I'm not expecting this establishment to hold themselves to some crazy high level of standards. Not stealing from your customers, and not forcing them to listen to Cardi B rap about her disease ridden genitalia every night, in my opinion would just be the beginning of having any standards at all. The crowd that was there was more of 50s and 60s age range. The TouchTunes machine is played way ahead, so good luck if you want to hear something... Otherwise it's a good spot if you just want to shoot with no other expectations.

We asked what came with the sandwiches and we were told tater tots. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food. We had to wait about 5 minutes for the ketchup and there were no tater tots. We got a bag of chips and were told they were out of the tater tots and French fries. No respectable Irish bar would not be able to serve fries or some form of potato with a meal. The bar had about 10 people in the bar and they were all pretty drunk. It is not a fun pub but a place with some sad drunks.
