Okay....I am a bit of a lobster roll snob. Haha! Self proclaimed, of course. I've eaten lobster rolls all through Maine and I keep coming back to this one. They use fresh Maine lobster and know how to cook it to perfection. IYKYK. Then I have light mayo with a side of butter to drizzle. Perfection. Add the causeway fries with the house sauce and YUM! The buffalo chicken Rangoons are yummy, too. Honestly, all of the food choices are the best. It's a locally family owned restaurant so everyone is nice there, too. Quick service, nice karaoke singing inside and lakeside for a breeze and a view. Just had drinks, I had a really nice selection of iPas I never had before, wife had a mocktail which she said was a sugary mess. I drank it and thought it was fine. Other two drinks at the table were good, plus they gave us many waters. A thumbs up in my book. read more

We went on a Friday night with a party of 9. We made reservations and we're seated right away. Service wasn't great. Most of us ordered water with our cocktails and we were brought two pitchers of water with plastic cups. There was a dead fly in one of the pitchers! This place looks like it would be "so so" but really has great food. We've been here a couple times lately and have really enjoyed their food. You get the atmosphere of being lakeside with a beautiful view without all the tourism "gotcha". I've had the Black and Blue burger twice now and loved it. Patty is hand made with lots of flavor and good sweet potato fries. Fish and chips cooked perfectly with great seasoning. Servers were very friendly and prompt. We're visiting from out of town and renting a VRBO camp on Lake Sabago. Only a few restaurants are still open or nearby. In our hunt for a lunch place, we landed on Brother Fleckers for lunch today, which was only 11 miles away. I had the "Fish and Chips" because, sadly, I'm very allergic to shellfish. The fish was haddock and cooked to perfection. The fries were the special fries and also excellent. The waitress, Cindi, was amiable and helpful. My friends all loved their meals too. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The Ambiance has a pretty summer beach vibe -- nothing memorable or attractive, which is fine. I would only say the pricing was too high. It was $25 for Fish and Chips and an upcharge for fries from local potatoes. That seemed steep to me. read more

Alyssa was amazing tonight. She is incredible and our food was outstanding. It was the best chicken I have ever had. The view is gorgeous and I can't recommend this place enough. Try and ask for Alyssa to be your waitress because she was out of this world. read more

I disagree with the 3 star rating. I give it a solid 4+ . We've eaten there twice this summer both times eating on the patio. We enjoyed the view of the lake and taking in the Naples vibe. The food is well above average and the service prompt and friendly. We've had the buffalo Rangoon appetizer. I'm not a big Buffalo fan but i liked them and we ordered two servings on our second visit. The lobster bisque was great. A nice cream and sherry base with large chunks of lobster meat. The entrees we're varied and reasonably priced. One diner reccomends the baked haddock. I had big juicy burgers on both visits. All people in our party would reccomend what they had. The prices were reasonable for a "summer spot". We will definitely go again. read more

Basic American food, seems like a summer bar. Waiter was very helpful and accommodating. It wasn't very clean inside but it looks like they literally just close down in the winter. Kind of odd decor - like several restaurants left over. They have two small bathrooms. We went for lunch/early dinner and it was fine for kids but the vibe seems more like a drinking bar for late at night. They did have a really good chicken caprese sandwich. Not a ton of options and prices were decently high but again downtown Naples on the water. read more

Yummm!!! For a somewhat new restaurant, each year it gets better!!! I haven't had a bad meal at the brother fleckers!! The beer selection is good and the frozen cocktails are delicious!!! You have to try the buffalo chicken rangoons... it's worth a visit just for them... and never order one order, always get 2!! They also make Irish nachos they are super delicious!!! I never have to wait long for food, and it always comes out hot and just how I ordered it!!! read more

Unfortunately I cannot put less than 1 Star. Just went to this place today. Beyond awful. Looked unorganized and little help. Ordered at the bar and went to our table to sit and wait. The food took forever. Finally got our meal. I ordered the ala carte fried scallops and my friend got the burger. I paid $18 for the scallops and when they finally brought them I almost died. 11 small rubbery scallops sitting in grease. Very lack luster anemic portion. When I asked about ketchup he seemed annoyed and barked " they're on the tray" and walked away. I had to go and get more ketchup it wasn't enough for a burger and scallops. Never again. Go to Freedom Pub next door. Same great view but much better food. read more

My husband and I were willing to try B.F. after a few poor experiences over the years. We walked into an empty bar/restaurant and asked to be seated outside, on the deck, facing the water. There was NO LINE and again, the place was empty, but for a couple of tables on the deck facing the water. Firstly, it took the 'hostess' (Mother Flecker) a solid 10 minutes, at least to 'greet' us (after I went into bar to find someone to seat us, we were ignored). She was annoyed when I asked her if she could seat us. After we requested to be seated outside, we were told, "there is only a four-top out there and we are waiting for a bigger party to seat at that table, but feel free to sit on our patio in the front of the restaurant". The 'patio' is a hardtop, asphalt slab that sits on route 302, basically a highway. We politely said, 'no thank you' and went to Freedom Cafe, which had music, delicious food and plenty of outdoor, water view, seating. We spent ALOT of money. We are done with Brother Flecker's, as are so many, considering the establishment was empty. read more

What a great location. Looks like new management. May need bar rescue soon! This place could be a big hit if they upgrade the quality all-around! Could really kill it with a fantastic seafood menu if food is upgraded. Recently visited - like the atmosphere however needs several updates as mentioned. Has a nice deck to lake. On a nice summer Saturday my friend and I decided to visit Brother Fleckers Bar. We had not been to any restaurants in Naples and wanted to sit on the water. The restaurant next door had a 45 minute wait, so we decided to try out this place. There were many open seats, but we were told the wait would be 30 minutes. I am not sure if they were short staffed that day, but we decided to wait. We got a few drinks at the bar, a couple beers and they were both relatively cheap. Our table was ready sooner than they said it would be, and we sat out on the deck with a nice view of the water. We ordered the buffalo chicken rangoons, and also the Irish Nachos (homemade potato chips, with onions, pulled pork, cheese, topped with sour cream and bbq sauce). We both were happy with both of the items we ordered. The chips seemed to get soggy very quickly (but that's normal for nachos) Service was slow we had to request waters multiple times, and one time I had to track down our waitress. The bill was cheap and the drinks and food were good. We will be back if we are in the area. There were quite a few little bugs outside, which I know the restaurant can't control, so just be aware of this if you're planning to sit outside. read more

(My experience) Developed a stomach ache right after the appetizer, which was their specialty nachos. The ribeye was very chewy and just slightly overcooked. My mixed drink was so weak I couldn't taste any alcohol. (My partys experience) they all liked their plates of deep fried food. Can't really mess that up unless you're using old/spoiled ingredients. They play reggae/rock at a decently high level so kinda hard to hear what someone is saying even when they're a few feet away from you. We're locals, so we really wanted to like this place! Unfortunately, it was VERY underwhelming! Our 2 over-cooked burgers & 2 sodas came to $35 (before tip) b/c we were charged additionally for cheese($1 each), tomato ($.25 each), LETTUCE ($.50 each), and sides $1 each! Menu makes you think you're getting it all for 10 bucks, but you're not. Burgers also had some funky, strong, garlicky spices on them- we left half of our burgers there uneaten. Slow very slow. Wait to be seated sign at door and it took us 10 minutes to be seated another 10 minutes to order a drink. We only stopped for the Live music playing but we were the only ones on the patio with him. For a beautiful summer day, nobody was here. Food was very pricey and just OK. Where do I begin. Let's start at the top. We were lured in by musingo aka music bingo for you novices out there. We arrived and ordered drinks. The nonalcoholic drinks arrived first. 25 minutes later the 3 alcoholic drinks arrived. We requested water not once but twice during our first 45 minutes there. Finally an hour in, it seems they were able to tap into the local steam and our table was graced with a whole seven cups of water. Cheese curds were decent but the one "spicy" order wasn't spicy. Brace yourselves...things get uglier next up was dinner. Two haddock sandwiches served lukewarm with a side of cold fries. Fried seafood with a slice of hair ($27!!!!!!!!) to their credit they did refund us and provide us more but our son lost his appetite with the slice of hair, honey buffalo chicken fingers that were sadly 100% buffalo, a rubbery chicken caprese sandwich and lastly a western Maine burger overbooked with wilted brown lettuce...BARF. Waitress apologized profusely but this place is deplorable and condemnable. Our teenage son who eats EVERYTHING didn't even want to take any leftovers home... sad! MAKE LONG LAKE GREAT AGAIN. So we decided to pop in here for drinks and apps on Sunday Sept 1 yes Labor Day weekend , we were promptly greeted by the hostess and told we were welcome to stay for drinks but the kitchen has shut down for night .. no big deal , we decided to order a couple drinks and enjoy the deck , my fiancé ordered a expresso martini , my stepfather a beer , my mother a whiskey sour and a Jon Daly for myself , after quite a long wait the drinks arrived , and this is when things went bad , my " jon Daly " came as a shot , even though it was clearly supposed to be a drink , and my fiancé's expresso martini was curdled .. yes curled .. anyways , when the waitress returned we asked if they always close the kitchen at 4pm on Sunday , for future reference, we were told " well it's a family run business and they like to spend time with their family so yes " .. needless to say , we will not be returning , and would suggest you find a better spot to dine .. read more

Last summer, we visited and although the food was great, the service was lacking. However, it was a new restaurant, so we decided to give them a try this summer. They still have things to work out, but they have made steady improvements with service. Steady improvements for sure. We (our family of 4) have tried almost everything on the menu for lunch/dinner. The only thing we haven't had is the lobster--only because it is expensive this summer at every Maine restaurant we have visited. However, I will order one this summer because they look delicious and packed with meat. My favorites are the buffalo Rangoons, steak encrusted with blue cheese, shrimp skewers, and their salads. Mmmm! My husband loves the pasta and meatballs. My kiddos' favorite are the flavored tenders. Service is much better this summer, too. The staff is more attentive and we've seen the owner checking in with tables. The drinks are great and I LOVE two of their signature cocktails! Sweet and tropical. I can't wait to try breakfast. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens and wish them the best of luck! We eat here at least once a week. read more

Although the bathroom was clean and the view of Long Lake beautiful, the food was poor. My rueben was drenched on oil, the hand-cut fries were not fresh, the onion rings were greasy. Most things cooked in old oil. I asked for a simple margarita and it came brimming with sour mix. The waitresses were nice, but we waited to be seated for a while before we hailed a waitress.
