Bless Eva's soul because I was so indecisive with my backsplash and the countertop. I kept going back and forth and changing my mind at least 3 times. They were so booked out until August so finally my day came last Monday and it only took the guys 4 days to complete. During the process of planning, Eva asked me to send in measurements of my current kitchen so I did. She worked her magic on her computer and gave me mock-up of my kitchen. I told her I wanted to add another counter with cabinets since I was lacking that with such a small kitchen. Even after confirming the placement, I changed my mind weeks later and decided on an island. Eva and her contractor came to my house to do final measurements, which made me feel relieved because I didn't trust my measurements. I ordered the Kingston cabinets in the gray ash finish. It is beautiful and lights up my kitchen. To compliment that, I went with the Bianco Swan quartz countertops. I wanted a farmhouse sink and gave the measurements of that to Eva since I bought it elsewhere and it came out beautiful. Everything is beautiful! One thing I really commend JQ for is being super clean. They laid down ramboards to protect the floor and there wasn't any dust in my house. They always vacuumed after themselves. I had a kitchen remodeled before from another company and they were so messy. Dust everywhere, empty water bottles everywhere and they're measurements were so off that I couldn't use a drawer or cabinet. So having JQ do my new kitchen at my new house was truly night and day. I recommend them and I hope you see the quality in their work.

We purchased our shower glass and doors from Schicker 12 years ago......love the original…read moreinstallation job they did for us at that time. The shower door still looked great, but over the years our home has shifted and the door was no longer square or plumb. We called Schicker for maintenance service and were pleasantly surprised that they still had our original records on file. They scheduled a service visit to realign the shower door and perform a full "service refresh" of the mounting hardware, seals, and silicone. The technicians arrived on time and did an outstanding job--the shower door and glass now look brand new. Special thanks to Hunter and Bob for their excellent work. They were professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything they did, including what to watch for if the house shifts again in the future. I also appreciate that Schicker stands behind their work with a 12-month service warranty. An excellent local business that truly takes care of its customers--highly recommended.

After completing the project and later comparing with other options, it became clear that the pricing was not aligned with the level of quality we received. The paint has started rubbing off within a year, the drawer hardware feels very low quality (mostly plastic), and the drawers did not close properly from the installation. The drawer slides and soft-close mechanisms are low quality, feel cheap and unreliable, and the slide system doesn't function properly. With our prior Ikea drawers, which had metal throughout, that was never an issue. These are fundamental issues that should not occur at this price point. Support was also a challenge. Communication felt defensive, and we had to follow up multiple times just to get someone to come out for fixes. Based on our experience, we would not recommend JV Cabinets. There are other providers offering solid wood cabinets with noticeably better build quality and finish for similar, or lower cost.

I was glad they came back within a couple days but knowing a more appropriate timeline would've helped me manage my work (and other responsibilities) in a more grounded way.
